It's incredibly easy for users to learn how to do things using Dozuki guides.

The price.  I wish there was a paid version that wasn't so expensive.

We use Dozuki to inform our customers how to do certain repairs or installs on their own.  We upload guides with step by step instructions and pictures to make things as easy as possible for them.

I really enjoyed how simple the interface was. There was never a moment that I couldn't find what I needed. I also really liked how easy it was to create lessons.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

I really didn't enjoy the overall appearance of the program. I think it would benefit tremendously from a design overhaul. Maybe color to make it more fun. Otherwise a very great program.

For our company Dozuki is solving our issues with teaching certain jobs without having to have a physical class with a real person present. It is simple to log on and create lessons for users.

**What do you like best about Dozuki?**

Dozuki is very helpful in making it accessible in creating guides and steps to complete projects or directions to complete tasks. The best part about Dozuki is how simple it is to use and generate step-by-step instructions for visual guides.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

Picture sizes should be allowed to be a bit bigger; an integrated picture editor would be excellent, for example, a way to blur part of the pictures. More colors for arrows and shapes.

**What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dozuki solves problems by letting you create a guide with visual instructions on completing specific tasks and standard operating procedures. The benefit is that everyone can follow the same rules and education, so the result will always be the same.

**What do you like best about Dozuki?**

I use Dozuki for creating manuals for Device Repair for our company. I like that I can add markups and crop pictures directly on the site instead of editing outside of it. I can add videos or easily embed YouTube links into my guides. It allows me to constantly update and modify the manuals instead of having them in a more permanent document or PDF.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

There are times when the site can lag a bit. Like if multiple guides are being added within a category, it may take a minute for the guides to appear. Clicking clear all images in the media manager doesn't always clear all the images. I may have to click it multiple times if there are a lot of pictures within the media manager. Those are very minor things, and it works very well overall.

**What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of having all of our manuals on a database with PDFs that need to constantly be removed and re-uploaded every time a new one is created or a change is made.

The ability to create documents from other documents/pre-requisites. The image markup tools in the step editor.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

No ability to delete multiple steps within a document/pre-requisite. Steps having a limit to eight lines, we don't use mobile devices.

Dozuki gives us the ability to explain, in detail, how to build, configure, and test complicated computers.

**What do you like best about Dozuki?**

I have been using Dozuki since 2018... i find it to be user-friendly and I especially like that I can use my phone to update an SOP in real time as an opportunity presents itself to do so. I also appreciate that the program gets better over time and the software is updated/improved as needed.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

Loading pictures in groups is sometimes difficult. Also, editing pictures could be upgraded so i don't have to use other programs to do the editing / enhancing and then bring them to dozuki.

**What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Formatting has been updated to allow for my teammates to interface better with the software. For me, its quicker to review sops with them. However, as a company- we still need to iron out a better way to give operators access to the sops when a team leader or supervisor is not available.

**What do you like best about Dozuki?**

Dozuki's system has allowed us to improve our WIG development efficiency, accuracy, and approval timeline. This has reduced our change-over time frame for new takt times or process changes.

We're also impressed by the learning management system built in.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

Mass conversions are more challenging since you can't upload WIGs through a formatted upload sheet. Also, mass management of licenses is challenging, at least in the business tier of the service.

Dozuki makes it easy to share objective guides/articles with our team for effective development and process management. It increases both efficiency and accountability. The Dozuki team also supports open source projects with a helpful staff.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

Some communications are better off somewhere else. It is built for guides, so textual articles can lose cadence in the format. Highly detailed steps are limited to keep guides friendly to mobile viewing.

Dozuki bridges the gap regarding well-organized information in a nonpaper format. Gone are our days of thick binders and indexes. When a process is updated, there's no need to reprint!

The upside with dozuki is it shows you very well on electronic devices how to step by step to take them apart and to put them back together with descriptive steps and vivid pictures!

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with dozuki as portrays excellenet steps to take dissemmble and to assemble electrontic devices very well with no problems.

Apart from the features in guides, I quite like the documentation available on how to use dozuki - especially the apk/sdk that allows you to write a script to interact with it.

nothing really. I do see potential for adding more features - like workload management.

Helps with communication as detailed instructions can be passed onto colleagues quickly and feedback on guides is easily obtained.

We are a French Quebec company. Unfortunately, Dozuki’s support is only anglophone. The interface is not completely in French as well. Very disappointing. To write to you I must use a translation application

None, since we asked to have the interface completely in French and it is not fixed.

**What do you like best about Dozuki?**

We are using this platform to meet our Knowledge and Training needs as required for our ISO Certification. 

I think a lot of thought went into the development of this program/software. I have used Dozuki for almost a year now.  It is fairly user-friendly and I am excited to see further development of the features that are important to meet our needs.

I also like that I have a Customer Support team and work with the same few people.  They get to know my skill level and our site.  Trust me, I have sent many support requests on my learning curve.  They are truly engaged in answering our questions in a timely and thorough manner.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

I think the Knowledge Check/Testing component needs some work to make it more professional and engaging for the user. Among many things, there needs to be:

*Auto Grading feature
*Ability to schedule training
*Ability to have a checklist so when assigning to an individual user, you can simply check what they need vs assigning one at a time

We are testing out a 3rd party software to meet our current needs, but would much rather it be available on the Dozuki platform. 

I would also like to have more custom reporting options within the platform.

I also think it would be great to be able to move and organize guides by a click and drag method vs going into each guide and changing the location.

**Recommendations to others considering Dozuki:**

I have not used another platform like this, so hard for me to say if it is the best thing out there. 

I think it all depends on your needs, and if you are willing to accept there are a few things that could be better.

I trust that Dozuki is invested in making this the best for their customers no matter how small or large the organization is. Time will tell.

**What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the need for current, easily accessible information and recordable training, through your laptop or phone.  Also, allows for user interaction and the ability to convey and store tribal knowledge.

I think it saves time and is a valuable tool for all areas of our organization.  

With this being said, as with any system, it is only as good as you are willing to put quality information in and maintain it.  I think having a dedicated Administrator is key.  This is my primary focus.

It's possible we have existing solutions or road-map items for some of those needs, and if not we can put feature requests in to our Product Team. 

In regards to custom reporting -- our Professional Services Team does have the ability to create custom dashboards for your site, if you need a report that isn't available out of the box.

The organization as a clear catalog makes it easy to sort WI per Work Centers and Work Stations
It is easy to add our catalog of standard tooling and select them during the creation of a new Work Instruction

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

The process for validation of Work Instructions took some time to implement in our company.
The "media manager" (the page where we add images to the library of images) is confusing and once an image has been used, it needs to be uploaded again.
Auto-save of the work in progress would be very useful!
Is it planned to include more languages in the auto-translating feature?

Easy and powerful tool

Writing Work Instructions -> productivity, clear format
Validation of Work Instructions -> making sure WI are not released before they are validated by all departments
Control of the revision of Work Instructions -> making sure the operators always have the latest revision and only the latest revision
Standard format for all WI -> no more different formats based on which product line the Work Instructions is for

In regards to your question about machine translation; we do regularly roll out new languages. You can find our latest releases under "Recent Updates" in the _Support_ section of your Dozuki site. Our most recent language update included Azerbaijani, Bulgarian, Malay, Nepali, Samoan, Somali and Swahili.

**What do you like best about Dozuki?**

It is easy to create guides and customize work instructions. The guides are easy to follow and have improved the quality and consistency of our production efforts. Training of new employees has also become much easier.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

The user interface could be more efficient to use. More like a POS system with easy-to-find/hit buttons and menus. Also it would be helpful to be able to add more pictures and video simultaneously.  Lastly, it would be helpful if the Work History reports were able to give totals for each guide that was completed for a given day.

**Recommendations to others considering Dozuki:**

Make sure to simplify categories and input guides in the order they will be used. Pictures for each guide are also helpful.

We have been able to gather data more easily and track our production efforts. We have benefited by being able to set standard work hours and also by having clear and concise work instructions.

In regards to your thoughts on a simplified user interface. We do have an alternative way to view Guides called "Operator View" -- which may provide the type of experience you are looking for. We also have the ability to build custom dashboards if something you're looking for (ex. completion totals by day) needs to be surfaced in a report format.

**What do you like best about Dozuki?**

Dozuki is amazing.  We were originally going to use it solely to capture Standard Work, but the approval workflows and document control are second to none.  We've decided to use it to control all of our documentation.  The support is phenomenal, the product is continually being developed and updated, and it is very easy to design and implement new content for our site.  This tool will help us take our Continuous Improvement to the next level.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

It would be nice to have the ability to author and assign quizzes within Dozuki to enhance its Course feature.  Other than that, we have yet to notice any real downsides to using Dozuki.

**What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I am needing a decal layout it is nice to be able to find one on my own and not have to go through 3 or more people to get one.  I also like that it provides other information that could also help you.

What I don't like about it is that it is hard to find what you need.  For example, if you don't know what name they would put the decal layout under that it is hard to find.

I get a lot of decal kits from customers and sometimes the kits are mixed up.  With Dozuki I can easily look up different kits to make sure I received all that is on the order and if it is correct.

Every detail and step of manufacturing a product can easily be included in a guide. Vidoe of critical tasks can be created and uploaded easily. If you decide to site a safety item, you can create a separate document and put in a hyperlink to that document within Dozuki. This is an all-inclusive management program.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

There is not much to dislike about Dozuki. The program is very well thought out and designed. I guess if I could change one thing, it would be that we have to purchase a seat for each associate as opposed to licensing the program with unlimited access to everyone at our company.

With Dozuki, we have solved many problems. We have begun to uncover safety risks and liabilities, we have begun to capture all of the so-called, "tribal knowledge" that seems to fall through the cracks as the workforce changes, and we now have a better means to hold our associates accountable for how they are building product.

Dozuki makes editing and maintaining digital work instructions simple. It has a nice interface and is simple to use. Work instructions can include limited text and can capture data entry to get feedback while the process is executed.

Mobile Apps are not full featured. AI language translation is not 100% capable (it can't translate data entry fields). Not all capabilities are available to embed in external tools. Reporting is rudimentary. No process escalation capabilities.

**Recommendations to others considering Dozuki:**

Dozuki has an open api so with some software dev capability is a rich playground. It's easy for end users to author and use content. 

It's not fully caoable  in but support team is great.

We have physical work instructions on the 1M SF shop floor. We want to simplify maintenance and distribution of those work standards. We also want to capture time study data and quality checks on work activities.

Dozuki offers not only a great product but a great service. Our support team from Dozuki is phenomenal. They reply quickly, they are very knowledgeable and very polite and professional. The product, too, is great. The ability to have fantastic visuals for our team members, and for them to be able to supply feedback on those visuals has been priceless.

**What do you dislike about Dozuki?**

All of the functionality is not there that we would like, but it is mainly just small things that could create a slightly better product. Dozuki does listen to our requests and when possible, carries through on them. Currently, there is nothing that we dislike enough worth reporting.

Training improvements are implemented with relative ease by the way of standard work. We have noticed our employees grasp the task at hand much quicker than before.
