The main benefit we get from Dozuki is that it instantly pushes updates to production, eliminating the possibility of out of date work instructions being used and eliminating the process of switching out paper copies. Additionally, it allows assemblers to give feedback on instructions which are instantly logged. Dozuki has more in depth features that can be used to track things like training and device history, but they are less intuitive than the work instruction writer. In the work instruction writer, sometimes you can run into issues with images and videos not working correctly due to due to resolution or aspect ratio issues, but they have improved on that and there are workarounds in outside editing software. The best part about Dozuki is the way you can organize and format different instructions for any work environment, allows you to create your training software to best accommodate your needs as a trainer. I dislike the limited capabilities that Google docs/sheets has to offer. Some documents that have been historical in excel had to be simplified a bit to work in sheets. When I try to get facility buy in to use dozuki this is often a main topic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dozuki's guide formating help with consistency. Every Guide created is in the same format which allows the end user to know exact how to use the guide regardless of the topic. Update: 03/07/2024 I've been using Dozuki for about 2 years now and they just keep getting better. Dozuki really tries to give their customers the best product for their company. Over the last 6 months there have been many improvements on reporting, ease of customization and overall funtion. Some of the reporting functions are limiting. It might just be the package we have but reports on things like guide usage and visits isn't really there. Reports on user activity is not very good either. Update: 03/07/2024 Dozuki has greatly improved the reporting functions. I appreciate how user friendly Dozuki is both on the front end and the back end. Creating how-to instructions has been very convenient and useful to our employees across every department. It allowed us to have a centralized training system for all incoming new hires. To allow employees to take control of their own career progression makes this tool continue to drive employee engagement. The system is relatively easy to learn and their support is beyond reproach. The document entry was not as automatic as it was made out to be in the presentation. In place of the custom code that would convert our documents into their template, we had to hire a contractor to copy and paste documents from our system to theirs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that Dozuki can be organized into discrete step-by-step tutorials for our machine shop. It makes training machines easy for new hires and provides a quick reference for when we need a refresher.

Dozuki's limitations come from its step by step process. More difficult machines to learn that are not a step by step tutorial are difficult to write a decent learning guide for. I appreciate that Dozuki makes it easy to get started, with no need for templates or complex design work. It provides simple text boxes for immediate use, allowing for quick wins. I found it challenging to adapt to the requirement of doing releases for every change, even when modifying a folder. Additionally, the restrictions, such as a maximum of 3 pictures and 8 line items, can be quite limiting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
