For example, a step cannot have too many bullet points below it (no more than 8), and their is a word limit for each step. This helps to not overwhelm the person using the guide. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** I wish I could add more than one video and more than three pictures for a step. It's nice to know when something has come up. we recently switched from a manual process to this digital one, and it's nice to see where everything is in progress so easily. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** It's easy to see when you need to do something. There are a lot of e-mails. And every change you hear something. Would be nice to consolidate the e-mails to every few days, or possibly once a week. It sounds silly, but my eyes prefer less light and really there is nothing solid to dislike about the application. The pricing has recently increased and it is somewhat high, but the ease of use for users unfamiliar with platforms like Git is super helpful! **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dozuki is helping us modernize our delivery of assembly manual documentation and part number referencing for both our assemblers, as well as our customers. The program training templates are helpful. It's easy to see and manage users. The video feature is awesome. Easy for shop floor guys to train to. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** The training reports need a lot of work. The approval system e-mails are a lot. Not super easy to edit a guide. No super user to push things through. Must be an admin to view what managers need to view. So creates too many admins. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to digitize the training process and have better visibility into changes made. It is helping with efficiency and productivity in some capacity. The performance has not yet increased because the learning curve in a shop setting where we've done all manual training previously is difficult. ### 15. One of the thing that I dislike is that we always see the users even when they left the company it's sometime long to see how has accès. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** The work instructions or tutorial are simple with pictures and videos the end user has more facility in there day to day tasks and eccentric training. Also, the search feature is very good and has a great track record of allowing us to find obscure guides easily. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** The organization and editing interface are obtuse. For editing, it's kinda unclear when things are or aren't saved, and formatting text is a strange process that makes it hard to see the results before you're done. The organization for guides is also extremely unintuitive, it doesn't follow a file structure-esque directory and it doesn't have a GUI, so relocating guides is very hard. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Training and preservation of processes. The bulk step creator makes it easy to convert previously created guides into dozuki. Each work instruction step allows a maximum of only three photos. When printed, the images within the work instructions are very small and virtually unusable. This makes it difficult for businesses not electronically integrated in manufacturing to use Dozuki. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dozuki allows us to write Electronic Work Instructions with a relatively junior team of engineers and manufacturing leaders. We can drop any and all relevant documentation into Dozuki with just a few clicks. It even houses CAD documents if you .zip the folders. We use Dozuki for way more than just work instructions. It is our sole document controller as well! Using Dozuki is like having a whole team of doc control staff for a fraction of the cost. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** The limit on the videos is a little cumbersome. At times, 5 minutes is just not enough to detail out the plethora of information we want to cover per step in our complex processes. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dozuki did a fantastic job at solving our revision issues on the pages and folders. Before this year, there was no revision history present - and now, we can look at previous versions with ALL of the documentation still accessible from the past. It's awesome. ### 25. There are times when having more than three would be helpful. Each time we tell a new person at work the title of this software, you get laughs. Second, the WIKI portion of the site is awful. I also like how you can change and update right on the guide. Editing makes it easy to keep up with changes. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** I can not think of any downsides to Dozuki. The thing is going to be getting everyone to understand it. I do not like how our tablets are blocked for editing photos. I used to take photos and edit them in my spare time, so when I was ready to make a guide, it was a lot faster. The coding syntax is just too old school for a modern piece of software. These pages can be very helpful to input a lot of information on just one page rather than limited amount of characters/bullet points within each step of a procedure. The photo functionality also needs work. iphone photos should be able to be uploaded in their standard sizing for our procedures and be a bit easier to manipulate. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Updating procedures and actually have documentation for differing processes is fantastic with this software. This can be a downside for some, but we wanted an off the shelf solution and they have accommodated some of our requests to personalize, so check what you want to achieve against what the platform delivers, and also discuss with them if something that isn't available can be incorporated. **Recommendations to others considering Dozuki:** Thoroughly capture your requirements and what you are trying to achieve, then set up a means of comparing these against what Dozuki offers. Anything that doesn't fit or tick a box can be discussed with Dozuki. Also figure out how much customization you may want to do, then decide how much of it is actually necessary. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** With Dozuki we are able to move away from booklet format user guides. This ensures our customers and team are always accessing the most current content and that content can be updated in real-time with push notifications. The simple interface and guide formats ensure authors keep the content focused and relevant.
