As a media company working with multiple brands, the biggest value for us is being able to quickly understand the “why” behind performance changes. Previously, when visibility dropped, we had to manually investigate each brand one by one. With Dot Insights, we can instantly see whether the change is driven by pricing, availability, or competitor activity.

The AI insight agent is especially valuable at scale. It automatically surfaces the most critical insights across all the brands we manage, saving our team from spending hours digging through data or Excel sheets. This allows us to move faster and provide more proactive guidance to the brands we work with.

When working with multiple brands and large datasets, the dashboard can occasionally slow down, especially when pulling long-term data. The mobile experience is decent, but it could be improved for quicker on-the-go checks.

The Dot Insights AI Agent is invaluable for understanding shopper expectations with real data before our products go live, making it a core part of our launch process. It's especially helpful for analyzing reviews and shopper questions quickly, allowing for persona-based communication strategies across e-commerce and pharmacy channels. During the Hyalu B5 launch, I appreciated how the AI Agent effectively analyzed a vast number of reviews and shopper questions, providing insights into consumer preferences. This capability makes it incredibly useful for every major launch.

There's a lot of insight available inside the platform, so onboarding larger teams can take some time at first. As the product grows, more integrations and workflow automation would make activation even easier. Also, while the initial setup was easy to understand, loading all the backdata was a little bit difficult.

As a large portfolio brand, one of our challenges is keeping up with fast-changing marketplace dynamics—new brands emerging, shifting shopper preferences, and constantly moving category benchmarks.

Usersdot shows you exactly what’s blocking add-to-cart decisions. The AI Agent doesn’t just surface common questions, it highlights which ones actually stop shoppers from buying.

For an e-commerce team, that clarity is huge. It makes prioritizing content updates much faster and more confident.

There’s a bit of a learning curve at first, especially if you’re used to more traditional e-commerce analytics. Once you get comfortable with the insight structure, it becomes very intuitive.

Our main issue was low conversion despite strong traffic. Shoppers hesitated because they couldn’t easily find answers about pain, skin type compatibility, box contents, warranty, or usage.

The shopper insight side is especially valuable — we can clearly see what customers are thinking through review analysis and question data. Being able to track buy box ownership and sellers in one place saves us a lot of time. Also, the ability to create custom reports makes reporting fast and practical without needing to rely on manual Excel work.

As the product continues to grow, I’d love to see more integrations and automation options, especially with different marketplaces. That would make the workflow even more seamless. The “Ask the AI” feature is a standout for us. In the electronics category, we often need very specific comparisons — for example, analyzing negative sentiment around battery performance between our device and a competitor’s model. Being able to run these queries instantly and get a visual comparison saves us hours of manual Excel work.

The depth of the review analysis is also impressive. It clearly separates issues like “shipping-related problems” from actual “product defects,” which is critical for our product and R&D teams when prioritizing improvements.

The AI agent highlights recurring themes in a very practical way, so instead of manually reading hundreds of comments, we quickly understand what shoppers actually care about and adjust our digital shelf strategy accordingly.

As we expand across more categories and marketplaces, I’d love to see even deeper integrations and more automated reporting options. The platform already provides strong e-commerce analytics, but having more customizable dashboards for different teams (category, content, performance marketing) would make it even more scalable.

One of our key challenges was understanding hidden shopper behavior within the men’s t-shirt category. Through review analysis and product Q&A insights, we noticed something interesting: a meaningful number of women were also purchasing our men’s t-shirts. This wasn’t something clearly visible in our standard sales reports.
