I have found Dorik to be surprisingly customizable without needing to hard-code in HTML/CSS/Javascript. Those options exist as well, but the interface they've developed negates the need for them. The site is pretty easy to learn, there are a few learning curves that are more difficult to get a feel for but their customer service is very responsive and highly competent. They helped me troubleshoot via email—including recording their screen to send me as an instructional video—and they also make themselves available for one-on-one assistance through online calling services like Google Meet. While the site is really great on the backend, what is extra impressive is how beautiful, neat, and professional the pages look on the front end. I did a good bit of research before I selected a website builder, and Dorik had already begun building a great reputation, and my experience has reinforced that for me. **What do you dislike about Dorik?** It can be difficult to learn, especially for first-timers. Over the summer, Typedream was acquired by Beehiv. And if you don't like what it comes up with, it's easy to have the AI system launch a new template. I am not a super technical person when it comes to computers, so creating my own website was a bit of a daunting task. But Dorik simplified the process for me, and I found some very helpful videos online when I ran into questions or problems. Also, I was able to email the CEO of Dorik and he actually answered my questions for me (which is incredible considering that not many CEO's interact with customers online). You can see my website here and decide if you like what a very amateur computer user was able to accomplish on Dorik: www.samanthadurrell.com **What do you dislike about Dorik?** I selected the "Personal Plan" option and was guided through the process of personalizing my domain (though I had to use an external domain supplier to acquire the name I wanted), but it wasn't until the final step in the Dorik process that I realized I would have to pay Dorik for my website name (it was a couple of hundred dollars), but everything else was free (the AI generator building site options, and a randomized website URL). I would have liked to know that personalizing my website name had a cost, as opposed to building the entire thing and not being able to publish it until I paid. That being said, that might be the case for all website building sites that initially offer a free plan. And to be honest once I did pay the one time fee, and I was very happy with the results. **What problems is Dorik solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dorik is using AI to simplii the somewhat complicated technical aspect of building a website. ### 20.
