I've been using Doratoon for both commercial videos and prototyping. It has everything needed for a simple 2 D video and you can import all additional images needed and animate them as needed. It has about 6-9 animations available not only for each imported image but also in between screens and you can use templates if inspiration is required. It's hard to search for specific elements in the content library; the exact words sometimes result in different elements or content, entirely unrelated.

Another thing to consider is the difficulty when selecting objects in the canvas, one object is, fine, but multiple objects is a pain. There should be a system for grouping objects into layers and blocking them simultaneously .
