Efficient Donation Handling, But Needs Better Usability **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Coves L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026 **What do you like best about Donorbox?** I use Donorbox almost exclusively as a donation recipient website, and I really enjoy the fact that it handles sending charity receipts for me. It takes care of the administration duties, so I don't have to think about charity receipts or thank-you letters, which is quite convenient. I also appreciate the possibility of scheduled recurring donations. **What do you dislike about Donorbox?** Finding the charity receipts for our archives can be a bit complex. The layout is a bit confusing sometimes. The initial setup was confusing as well because, at the time, it was not yet translated into the language that we speak here (Montreal). **What problems is Donorbox solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Donorbox for receiving donations and love that it handles charity receipts for us, solving the resource allocation needed for manual tasks. This feature is essential for smoothing the process of accepting funds, offering both convenience and accessibility to donors who prefer using credit cards. **What do you dislike about Donorbox?** I find Donorbox's cost to be excessively high, effectively doubling the expense of using a credit card.
