I would like to have the ability to manage various snmp logins and quickly view which login have failed. Perhaps the capability exists and I will need to check in with support. **What problems is Domotz solving and how is that benefiting you?** So far I've used it for reporting on a network assessment and I'm planning to use it to send me alerts on various printers at a customer so that I may proactively replace toner -- similar to a managed print service. ### 4. I with it integrated better with Syncro and Addigy.... would like to be able to mute some alerts. I'd like it to use speedtest.net for Internet speed tests.I don't think the MLAB results are very accurate. I would like a discount for implementing more Domotz boxes. Integrate it with your RMM / PSA, a good PDU, and a firewall. It helps with my service efficiency for clients. When a problem arises, I find out quickly and either fix it myself or alert a client to do something, like a device reboot. The Domotz platform snaps in perfectly to provide additional remote monitoring services that are not offered by the other products and services we use. We tried other remote monitoring services before going with Domotz. The other services do not offer the same capabilities that Domotz brings to the table. **What do you dislike about Domotz?** Overall, the platform offers all of the services and capabilities you would want from a network monitoring platform. However, no platform or service is without issues or shortcomings. Occasionally you will get logged out of the Domotz app and have to walk through the sign-in process again. We have found times where the offline and online timestamps do not match up with what took place. It could be due to the time between events or the number of events taking place at one time. **What problems is Domotz solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Domotz platform is one of the primary pillars in our remote support and recurring monthly revenue offering. I have been using Domotz to monitor my clients since December of 2018. I currently host the agent on Raspberry Pi devices located within my client's networks. There are many ways to host the agent, but the Domotz Box is a fantastic way to keep things simple – plug and play. It integrates with our PSA, alerting and documentation platforms, which is fantastic. The ability to see what is on a client’s network, whether we manage it or not, is very helpful. Also being able to access those devices without remote access to a PC on site makes life so much easier. It’s a well thought out and effective solution. Most importantly, the support experience has been fantastic. Although I haven’t needed too much in that regard, the few times I have contacted support resulted in very prompt response and resolution. That’s priceless. **What do you dislike about Domotz?** Getting the hardware (Domotz Box) has been a been challenging, but that’s a distribution problem in Canada – I’m sure it’s no problem in the US. Thankfully there are other ways to host the agent. Things are not entirely intuitive at first, but like many things, once you figure out how it’s put together, it makes sense. Some of the integrations are paid, so those costs do add up. **What problems is Domotz solving and how is that benefiting you?** This has allowed us to deliver a more proactive service to our customers as well as expand our service offering to things that require more visibility to the network. In addition the tool is so easy to use it takes very little time to become proficient. I had not successfully worked with an API integration before and through the webinars and support I built my own custom dashboard and learned some new skills in the process. **What do you dislike about Domotz?** none really. I try to break it daily and have not succeeded yet. **What problems is Domotz solving and how is that benefiting you?** My job is to find the problems, fix them, and then watch out for them if they come back. the speed and efficiency of the tool and the integration with other platforms has been fantastic. The demo just costs you some time and if it doesn't work for your team it doesn't cost anything out of pocket. TCP tunnel to device GUI pages is quick and efficient. Web app interface is easy to navigate and quick to master. **What do you dislike about Domotz?** Continue integrating with IP and smart devices for more advanced features. Maintain an updated DB of makes/models for device recognition. **Recommendations to others considering Domotz:** If you are looking for a remote monitoring and management tool, I would highly recommend Domotz Pro as a software. They also offer premium support bundles if you are looking to offload or grow your tech support. **What problems is Domotz solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Domotz for monitoring smart homes, from consumer-grade products like Nest to advanced automation systems like Control4, and SMB networks like Ubiquiti and OpenMesh (datto).
