I have nothing nice to say about Domain.com. They have cause significant issues for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have never encountered such an appalling experience with any service provider as I have with Domain.com. What started as a simple WordPress installation issue has spiraled into a complete disaster. Over the past few weeks, I’ve faced repeated cancellations of services—including my hosting, domain, and Google Workspace—without my authorisation. No one from Domain.com has been able to explain how or why this occurred, and every attempt to get a resolution has resulted in further complications.
I initially reached out to their support team with problems installing WordPress, but the situation only worsened. My hosting was canceled and refunded without my request, and when I logged in to point my domain name to my new hosting, my domain and Google Workspace were no longer available in my account. When I followed up with support to find out why my domain was missing, I was told it had been transferred to Network Solutions—again, without my authorisation. After contacting Network Solutions myself, I was informed that not only had my domain never been transferred to them, but it had been canceled altogether. This was the first clear answer I had received after multiple frustrating conversations with Domain.com support.
To make matters worse, my Google Workspace account is linked to live accounts that we desperately need access to. We haven’t been able to access these accounts throughout this ordeal, causing significant disruption to our business operations.
After weeks of this nonsense, I begged Domain.com support for a way to escalate the case, desperate to understand how such a serious breach of service could happen. I received no response to my initial escalation request. Out of sheer desperation, I scoured the internet for any contact email linked to Domain.com and finally reached out.
Despite being the one to send the incredibly desperate email, and who has invested the time, resources, and emotional energy into resolving this mess, it was the primary account holder who received a call in response, and all further communication has been directed to them. While I understand this may be their process, as the person in all the support logs and the sender of the email, I deserved the courtesy call to resolve the issue. Which, I stress, has still not been resolved.
While an email was sent to the primary account owner asking them to confirm their identity, which they did, the saga continues. Since then—nothing. No follow-up, no resolution, and still no domain transfer. Every attempt to move forward has failed, and we’re stuck in limbo. It’s been weeks, and the issue remains unresolved. I fear at this point we have lost our domain due to the negligence and incompetence of Domain.com.
To any potential customers: avoid this company at all costs. Their handling of our domain transfer has been a nightmare, and they’ve caused us to lose valuable time, money, and business. Overall website take time load entier page it may be due to network or size of images which is used in this website. Beautiful, simple UI. Easy to search for new domains, easy to register, easy to set up auto-renewals. FAQs for managing domains are pretty good. In short, good product design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unethical business practices designed to rip you off.
Most recently I discovered I'd been being charged to auto-renew Domain Privacy - but had previously cancelled the domain that had needed to stay private. Customer support said it was impossible to refund this because it was up to me to go into their system and manually cancel the Domain Privacy product separately from the Domain registration that I'd cancelled.
Similarly, the checkout flow is designed to get you to accidentally click/opt-in for a bunch of other products of little or no value that all are set to automatically renew by default.
In short, this company's business model is to try to find ways to trick you and rip you off whenever and wherever possible. And you can't get a refund.
Note that I've been a customer of theirs for over 5 years and have only now started to learn how much money I'd been getting charged.... That's obviously on me, but this is a warning to anyone else! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Well, you get a website builder for one month for free and a logo maker to get you started. the domain was easy to buy and at a nice price. They have a good customer service but not great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Domain Name price on domain.com is very affordable, they have the dns control system as well which is quite important for customers.
The offers they give on domain names are also superb.
Their Customer Support services are super amazing, the team is very polite and helpful.
The Web Hosting is also decent, it's speed is good, uptime is good, price is also decent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They don't have Dedicated & Reseller hosting, and their hosting can't handle many visitors at a single time.
Their Web Hosting Dashboard is really confusing, they don't even support cPanel, they have their own control panel which is clean but not very User Friendly. They should add cPanel or they should do some changes in their control panel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like about Domain.com
- Straightforward Pricing, they don't usually create fake offers
- Decent Support team with options via chat, phone, and email Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I don't like about Domain.com
- Extremely high pricing for a domain, domain.com got some of the highest cost among domain registrars
- the Control panel is an absolute mess and not at all user friendly even after they updated it a couple of years ago
- No free domain privacy, when many companies are offering it with domains that cost much less than what offered at domain.com
- Even their premium shared hosting plans got limitations on the databases, which isn't helpful at all.
-The domain renewal pricing is even higher than registration pricings. and they don't have anything to justify it like, all they offer with a domain registration are DNS management, email forwarding and Transfer lock. every single domain registrars offer that for free as well.
