The ability to both rapidly learn as well as actually take documentation of a loss brings peace to a sense of ugency when it comes to job intiation and scope development. Almsot any tech can grab one of these devices and figure out how it works within a few minutes and have documenation to an office team within the hour. If there are any issues the tech support for the entire program is comprehensive, fast, and most importantly effective. When it comes to using the documetation for marketing Matterport still has an advantage. However that is the only advantage Matterport has. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its super easy to use. Turnaround times are fast. Customer support is very responsive and helpful. Its great that additional photos can be put into each room. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its a little clunky to scroll through tours on a mobile devise.. not as smooth as something like Matterport.
I wish that there was a way to have photos input into an ESX file instead of having a separate photo file that is generated by Matterport. If there was, I would probably use Docusketch for more of my inspections. It saves me time with sketching and the virtual tour is great for desk estimating, but as it is now, I still have to go back through and take all of my photos outside of the Docusketch app so that I have them in Xactimate. Integrating this would save a couple of steps.
Pricing is a bit steep for someone like me who may not use it that much (I'm an independent adjuster), but I understand that there is now a IA billing package with a lower fixed fee which is nice.
