I carefully selected a monthly plan and was given a very expensive yearly plan, different than I had selected. My account was charged without preliminary notice. Only a message from my bank was I alerted to this charge. Observing other reviews, I see mine is not an infrequent problem recently. I did not integrate this with any other application because I am concerned about security, given what data I have about their corporate culture, based on the billing. DocuClipper is very helpful by transferring data on a .pdf into workable spreadsheet format. It is very efficient and also categorizes transactions well. Using DocuClipper has streamlined my bookkeeping tasks because it also reconciles the bank statements. I have saved countless hours using DocuClipper! I am still learning the various tools but I did notice that when I updated the categories to remove the preset/default ones such as Groceries or Bills/Utilities, sometimes, when I categorize a client's transactions, they still show up. I am not a fan of the pricing model. You cannot buy exact pages so I always end up with leftover pages I do not use. I only use docuclipper once a year at most. They also do not let you keep your work after your subscription runs out, I do not feel that is fair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our team appreciates that DocuClipper is fully online, allowing us to access it from anywhere without worrying about whether we are using a PC or a Mac. The platform is fast and automated, making financial document processing much more efficient than manual data entry. We also like that it clearly shows how many pages remain in each subscription period, making usage easy to track and manage. The best thing about DocuClipper is how much time it saves me. I’ve had to go through bank and credit card statements manually before, and being able to drop all the statements from a case into DocuClipper and get back a clean Excel sheet with all the information I need has easily saved me hundreds of hours of work. The only issue I’ve run into is that DocuClipper sometimes has trouble reading certain types of statements. Depending on how a statement is formatted, it may miss some subaccounts. I use DocuClipper to convert bank statements into Excel files to classify transactions and create a trial balance for tax returns. I like that DocuClipper is fairly intuitive, very fast, and accurate. It allows me to quickly convert bank statements into a usable form when my small nonprofit clients have no financial records other than bank statements. I appreciate the way it reconciles each month's statement, ensuring all transactions are captured. The initial setup was very simple and intuitive, and it just works. On the very odd occasion, the bank statement lines aren’t imported correctly, or the text isn’t copied across properly. When this has happened, I’ve raised a ticket and either been refunded for the pages or had the issue fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wish there was an easier way to exclude pages from being reviewed as I have to manually select each statement and page. Would be nice to be able to set a rule or specify a range of page numbers that I would like excluded from every statement since certain financial institutions (like AMEX) add a lot of informational/filler pages at the end that don't have any relevant transactions and count against the monthly page allowance. I used to enjoy using DocuClipper, but it's become troublesome and now adds time to my tasks instead of assisting. The bank statement conversions used to be better; now, the conversion leaves out a lot of text that I have to manually add in afterwards. Specifically, the details in the description column of the transactions on the bank statements need to be converted more accurately.
