The difference maker for me is an option that Doceri offers: you can change how quickly the drawing strokes appear to the viewer ... the drawing that you took your time with to look professional and accurate - those drawing strokes can appear in warp speed on a playback recording in order to make your recording time efficient. Doceri has completely changed how I teach. I can advance slides, circle, highlight, draw, and interact with the content I am displaying on the board via my iPad. During class discussions, I can add student ideas to the board without being tied to the front of the class. It allows me to monitor students and ensure students are working! The downside of Doceri is that sometimes that app can crash or be difficult to open on your computer. I use a PC, and sometimes the Doceri landing page will disappear, and clicking on any icon will not open it. It turns out it is still open but has moved to another location on the taskbar at the bottom of my screen. Once I figured that out, it was easy to remember. It would help if you also had a pretty good stylus, but a fair trade-off for the benefits this app provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
