**What do you like best about Discuss?**

The platform is intuitive and very easy to use. I struggled at first to input all respondent information and customer service jumped right in to help me. Really appreciated it. Leading sessions on the platform are easy, great technology, easy to access. I really appreciate that when a respondent is signed up, they automatically get an email with instructions and a calendar invitation. I didn't have to schedule a separate notification.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

The only thing not great about Discuss is that the subscription is very expensive, as is the ad hoc project fees.

**What problems is Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enabling me to talk with B2B customers about products, services and communications in their industry. Their platform made the research easy!

Simple, seamless connection with respondents. Excellent audio and video quality. Outstanding back-end transcript and analysis tools

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

Techs aren't directly connected to the project, so they don't help with stimulus display issues and aren't as familiar with the overall project needs and objectives.

**What problems is Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discuss provides a platform for moderation of qualitative research. My clients can observe, interact with me as moderator but remain shielded from connection to the respondent.

I like that I can chat with the helpdesk at any time of day.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

It takes a long time to get to a live person. I have to constantly enter all of my contact information even though I'm already logged in and most of the time the option to speak to a human isnt easily available and that's the only thing that I need.

**What problems is Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have a problem that its sovled. It offeres a great platform.

**What do you like best about Discuss?**

The platforms ability to quickly save moments and share them with relevant stakeholders is great. Also organizing a research - be it live interviews or surveys, it's really easy.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

Discuss has improved a lot on UX in the past months but sometimes the information hierarchy is missing creating a visual overload.

**What problems is Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for interviewing existing and potential customers of innovative digital products. It helps us move along the process quicker than a normal zoom call.

**What do you like best about Discuss?**

I can switch quickly between chats and discussion guides, and I like the way I get pop-ups in the waiting room and chats. It puts me much more in control of the focus group situation than other online platforms. Everything on one screen is a HUGE deal for me. I would certainly use it with every online qual project if the opportunity presented itself. I am also excited about the prospect of integrating discuss.io with our AI platform.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

The only minor criticism I have relates to the transcripts - it picks up moderator affirmations and thus fragments the respondents' responses. It would be very helpful if the respondents' responses could be kept contiguous.

**What problems is Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is creating a viable platform for clients who prefer to use group dynamics when exploring consumer truths. I am very keen to understand how Discuss can be integrated with Ipsos's online community platform because this will open the door to long-term communities incorporating disparate research elements, which is the holy grail in our market.

The problems, up to the date I have encountered, are basically related to the consumer profile that does not match the briefing.

to have technical support all the time and the bottom to call them

nothing is wrong or bad in your service. maybe the costs are expensive but you are very good..and i think as users get to know and get used to these platforms, I don't know if it is necessary to schedule calls with them to check if it is working well for them. Maybe not with everyone. See how to do it only with profiles that are not very tech and that really need some kind of help,

most important is the distance. I can coordinate project and meeting to do Interviews from ARG to all around the world

Extremely intuitive interface - great for managing large groups, and equally useful for IDIs or small sessions, too.  Love the poll, chat and 'Save the Moment' features as well.  Clients are able to seamlessly hop into the platform for the first time.

Customer Support techs have been PHENOMENAL! Very proactive, which is critical.

It's a no-brainer for virtual consumer groups. It's very easy to use - no instruction needed, and easy to talk with the back room participants or the moderator.

It would be nice if it could deliver a transcript immediately after the discussion.

Being able to talk to multiple consumers from different locations in a real-time conversation.

Discuss.io aids the process of online interviews. The platform makes setting up projects easy, helps teams stay organized, and the customer support packages are definitey worth it since they will be on demand as needed. Each staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

The calendar system is a bit wonky with the time zones. The labels of certain cities make it a bit unclear. The normal timezone names should be used.

**What problems is Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discuss.io is helping us solve a host / platform issue. Formerly Zoom and Teams are just not good enough since we do not want clients and participants to have an even close interaction in our heavily restricted and censored projects.

I liked the feature where you could see your questions, but adding tags while interviewing is difficult

**What do you like best about Discuss?**

First of all, the tech support has been amazing. They have the bilingual option so let's say my groups are in Spanish, my live support will be able in that language. The easiest interface to do what's needed on a IDI's or Focus Group. Within minutes you get your recordings and you can even, while live, mark little moments (bookmark) you might need later.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

So far I have no complaints. The only time I've requested an Agent and got a mesage that no one was available, was weird but within 20 min someone reached out and it was super good. So, nothing.

**What problems is Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easier when clients don't have their own platform and want to have a lot of guests watching a group or interview so in that sense, it is very helpful

Discuss is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to set up and faciliate research. The platform's wide range of features are appreciated by my entire team - moderators, operations personnel, and even research participants. We typically use the platform for the live interview function and engage project coordination and live tech support services. We're also leveraging the Self Captures feature wherever we can, offering a clean integration across synchronous and asynchronous research.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

Some of our preferred vendors in ExUS markets prefer other platforms for research. It'd be great to have more resources availabile to help them make the switch outside of live sessions (i.e., separate trainings for moderation, tech checks, etc.)

**What problems is Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Discuss is solving a problem that is faced frequently in the world of market research - our clients want strong insight and they want it quickly.

Discuss was a great platform to use as an observer to online IDI's. It was nice having all the participant's demos and information available. I liked the private chat feature so I knew I was not disrupting the moderator's flow.

Nothing to dislike. I liked the follow up questions after but I generally had meetings right after so had to rush through or skip them. It would have been nice if I could have filled out the questions as I was observing.

Having the technician who ensured everything was set up prior to the interview to ensure both the interviewee and interviewer were ready before putting both into the room. Plus having extra support if needed, when sharing assets especially videos which can sometimes be hard work. It was super easy and simple to use, and allowed to me to do everything I needed to, to conduct the interview successfully.

Having multiply chat rooms can become a bit confusing, especially when conducting an interview.It was hard to check in on the background while remaining fully focused.

There is a lot to love but I specifically like the order how there are different rooms for moderators, observers, respondents and project managers. I also like how you can deligate activities/responsiblities to different people and one person doesn't to do it all. Lastly but not least I like the fact that you can control the acccess for each individual to the project if you want them to just be observers or if you want them to have access to recordings all or if you want to give them full project access and so on

**What do you like best about Discuss?**

IDI scheduling is good and easy to manage and change. Video conf with 'back room' for observers works really well. Tagging videos makes analysis and synthesis easier. And the support team is outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

The AI summary tool is kind of helpful, but could use some additional work and maturity.

Conducting and managing IDIs in a for purpose tool rather than patched together with generic conferencing tools.

LOVED the discussion guide ideas that were on the side panel - my participant was very talkative so didnt need to use it much but it was good to know it was there if topics had dried up.

Nothing - its great!  No technical issues at all.

Having greater empathy and understanding of what it means to be a pet parents around the world.  This helps uncover pain points and passion points to spark ideas for innovations in communications and products

**What do you like best about Discuss?**

Very easy to use for respondents, no app download needed, and the scheduling feature is good to keep everything in one place. The ability to bookmark  and tag while an interview is happening is very useful for future analysis or other people on the team to see things quickly. Transcription is useful also.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

As I use it for visual ethnography and facilitating respondents to film their daily lives, it's missing some key features that would make it valuable - the ability to upload numerous videos per post, ability to add comments on posts, ability for moderator to confirm whether a task is finished yet or not.

**What problems is Discuss solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making the onboard process for respondents a lot easier, and keeping everything in one app so intake interviews don't have to be done on Zoom. This way wider team can watch/read sooner, especially as clips are being selected right away.

A practice-oriented platform developed and refined with the typical needs of a qualitative market researcher in mind. Everything you need on one platform. Easy to use and, very important, good tech support.

The tech checks beforehand are sometimes a bit inconvenient for participants. Tech support at the tech check with the participants only in English (I am from Germany)

I loved the lead moderator who was very considerate and easy going in asking the participants questions. I also loved the ease of downloading the program for me to join. I apprecaited the ease of integrating all participants into the discussion. Customer support was great and helped check the technical aspects of the discussion before we went live. Everyone is given ample enough time to discuss their views or ask questions.

There really was nothing I disliked about the discussion. I had so much fun, that I would have gone another hour.

I think it is solving the problem of defining a target market for some products and services. It benefits me as a consumer in regard to what I would like to purchase or partake of in the future.

The project team I was assigned was incredibly helpful and responsive (even with questions I had way after the study was done), and the whole process was totally seamless. The tech support to help get things up and running at the beginning was wonderful, and made everything so much easier for me as a moderator.

**What do you dislike about Discuss?**

Some of the people recruited are not as strong of respondents as I would have hoped (likely due to the fact that they don't pay respondents as much). I'd love the option to pay more for a more thorough screening process to ensure we get the best possible respondents.

Makes it easy to have an interactive focus group / IDI, and I loved having everything handled through one seamless platform.
