DISCO is very user-friendly. With a small amount of training, you can get started on your project and the Help topics are very helpful if you cannot figure something out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really cannot think of anything I dislike. We have had a great experience with the program and DISCO's customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer support is like no other.
It can increase the speed of our review of voluminous productions by using AI and word searching technology. AI will cut down on the volumes of records to be reviewed.
The AI feature will remember your recent searches and will remember the content and context of what you marked relevant. You can also ask it to do a search and it will give you a list of records under that search term with the context that you are looking for and not just the words. AI will prioritize your review and push the most relevant documents to the front of your review queue and the irrelevant ones to the back.
• It keeps emails together and will identify the complete chain with attachments so you can avoid reviewing hundreds of duplicate emails.
• The word searching function is better than what you will find in Adobe and OCR’ing as it allows you to word search with an expander or quickly using West-law-style Terms & Connectors.
• It has an interactive visualization dashboard with names contained in emails that identifies witnesses and other communication patterns from emails.
• It also has many more functions for searching an organizing and tagging your documents. It will automatically generate a privilege log if you mark something with a privilege tag.
• The bate stamping function remembers your last number and takes seconds to bates and make document sets ready for production.
• It makes all types of files word searchable including excel, word, TIFFs, PST and outlook files.
• DISCO’s team can also assist in word searching with AI to cull down the amount of data needed for review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Learning the program is the biggest hurdle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy it is to ingest documents into the platform and the exhibit function. They offer so much training and support. I use it everyday on all of the cases I work on. It was such a smooth transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike so far about DISCO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I thought the case-builder tool was a great asset for DISCO, and I generally think the search capabilities are very powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took more time training to learn how to use the DISCO tools than other e-discovery platforms that I have experience with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How effecient and kind everyone is when there are questions. It's alos pretty self explanatory after an quick introduction to the database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think DISCO should just pull an area offline if there are issues with it. Last time there was an issue with Productions and I was given a workaround that ended up not being useful so I had to repeat the productions - if they would have just pulled the production capability until the fix was issued, it would have been more effecient in the end. The platform is intuitive to use, has great customer support, and integrates seamlessly into my workflow. It is easy to use Disco for every case that requires discovery. There are a lot of features and I’m always learning about new ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing is the biggest downside. It isn’t worth it to use Disco for cases that are high in other costs or that are worth less. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When compared to other platforms, I have found DISCO extremely easy to use. I can quickly teach my new team members how to navigate DISCO, allowing us to save our clients time and money. All features are readily accessible and the menu is straightforward as opposed to endlessly nested menus and vague descriptions. While some platforms require many steps before achieving simple tasks and leave room for error, DISCO allows me to create users, roles, searches, views, search terms reports, and productions in a few clicks. DISCO's intuitive features help to ensure that productions are flawless and brings your attention to any issues before the production runs, streamlining the quality control process. Other platforms simply run the production, require extensive quality control checks, and force the production be redone when issues are found, wasting time and money. My biggest headache with DISCO is that it does not allow for the export of lists of ingest sessions, ingest details, loadfile mappings, productions, production details, overlays, review teams, mass action logs, review stages, etc. This feature would extremely helpful for documentation. As it stands now, if I am asked for a list, I have to create the list manually, which can be time consuming, tedious, and leaves room for error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a lot to like. Speed, ease of use, lots of helpful features, love the timeline, Case Builder (the deposition tool) is amazing -- and critical for designations during trial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much that I dislike and they are small things that are far less significant than the pros. I would like to be able to populate the Begdoc field with filename when I import natives without a load file. It would save me the time of creating an overlay file. And I would love to see some attention given to the Exhibit Sets tool, which, as I understand it, is very underutilized by Disco users. It has the potential to be very powerful for trial exhibits, deposition exhibits, and even motion practice (exhibits to declarations). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ease of use, especially for the attorneys who utilize it infrequently and would normally need a refresher course on other tools. Quick, simple, and very effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not have many issues with DISCO other than convincing clients to utilize something they are used to. Other than that as an MSP I would like a little bit of granularity on the billing/invoicing to make it easier for me as a partner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform for documentation is highly user friendly and adapatable to needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
