I love that most of the time, I am able to figure out how to run searches and complete complex tasks without any assistance. If I can't figure out how to something, I watch their training videos and learn how to do it. Customer service is always quick to respond to any questions and efficient in performing any tasks I request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost can be high, but this is true for all ediscovery platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really love DISCO's search feature. They make it really easy to construct searches and find the documents you're looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There wasn't really anything that I disliked about using DISCO. One thing that might improve the experience is providing tutorials or tutorial videos to help figure everything out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Disco's speed is much faster than the other systems we have owned and used. Even after having our own system on-site, I find Disco's ingestion & production much faster. Training options are very versatile: live & web-based. For support, they have both webchat and phone options -- both of with are quick to get started and the support people are savvy. I am comfortable telling firm users to contact support directly with questions or problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some less common file types that disco doesn't handle natively. I've found ways to convert those file types before ingesting them to save time & money. There are a lot of options in disco. It pays to go through the processes to understand which options must be chosen. If data is ingested incorrectly, often the quickest way to fix it is to delete the ingest job and re-ingest. Luckily that is very easy to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is very user-friendly. It is easy to navigate, create searches, build exhibit sets, and organize documents. The tools built into DISCO help our firm create the best offense and present the best case possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DISCO, like any other e-discovery platform, is only as good as the documents it is able to ingest. We did not realize the quality of the discovery we were receiving until we encountered limitations (like pulling metadata) ingesting data from opposing counsel. DISCO makes it very easy to keep your documents organized. Down the road, it is easy to pull documents and find important documents that you are looking for later in a case. DISCO University is also extremely resourceful and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not one downside to DISCO that I can think of. There are a few features that I don't understand how to use, but have never needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Self-service features are great. No more waiting for the vendor's technicians to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost per gigabyte is high. The tool to create productions could also use more features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using DISCO and its service makes everything easier and faster for me. It takes some getting used to this database but if you have used any document database, you can figure this out quickly. The DISCO team is the best in the e-Discovery business, as I can attest after my 20 years as a paralegal in the legal industry. I can get documents loaded and produced without fuss, and I'd want all my matters in DISCO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It makes me kinda hate all the other vendors. Not a good thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very easy to use and understand - used Lit support folks for the loading and producing at previous firms - learning the back end now. DiSCO compares well to relativity - however wish it did not allow reviewers to tag a document Responsive AND non-responsive - other products stop this from happening Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
See my comment on what i like - i would love if reviewers could NOT tag documents BOTH responsive and non responsive - relativity prevents this from happening and helps with errors in production Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
