Technology is in good shape in general, with documentation, support, performance. Despite complexity of certain concepts, it comes with decent tooling and development environment. High complexity and despite available documentation, the API is structured perhaps not the best way and has steep learning curve; some non-baseline parts of the API could be better. Direct3D is a part of DirectX. Direct3D has the biggest advantage over its competitors that its totally free for windows. It offers countless functions despite being totally free. Direct3D is overall a great software which does not have much to dislike. It lacks some characteristics and cannot grasp some minor details. Learning curve is steep and low-level security should be improved. Sometimes it gets stuck at one screen. There needs to be a graphical interface. First of all Direct3D is absolutely free. There is no such software in the market which enhance the three dimensional graphic performance of PCs at a zero cost.
