The biggest drawback to Diligent Boards is that its full functionality requires constant perfect internet connectivity. This has been disrupting meeting prep on a number of occasions because when our connection is slow or slightly unstable, the access to critical features such as document review or collaboration becomes near impossible. Furthermore, the process of setting up user permissions is time consuming and unintuitive, which demands further steps to make sure everyone in a team gets the right level of access. I like to collaborate and share information and its great because its easy to use, especially for collaborating in meetings and keeping documents confidential. The first thing I liked is that it is easy to use for both the administrator and the user. I like being able to share documents and print books and send them. It’s easier than you think to prepare and distribute meeting materials with Diligent Boards. I like the information being shared securely and being able to update in real time to keep things accurate. Most prominent of all is the built in annotation tools that allow me to quickly review and mark up documents. In case you are using the mobile version of Diligent Boards, then unfortunately, one drawback is occasional lag that disturbs productivity. There is no way to freely work outside the office. And for new users, it takes some time before they finally get hold of and use all its features which delays the initial implementation period. I have also found that it lacks customization options for a few workflows, giving you only a handful of ways to adjust that workflow to fit the needs of your business. I like it because it makes my lifee easier because irts a powerful tool, especially for handling confidential materials and its great for preparing for live meetings and every time I use it really gives me a great sense of peace of mind. Robust security features are the specialty of Diligent Boards. Access to control over documents is essential so that information can be protected. One feature that I like about the audit trail is I can see what documents have done, giving me one more level of monitoring and ensuring everything is publicly visible. A problem of Diligent Boards that I’ve had is the lack of offline access. When there is no internet and I’m unable to see documents sometimes I get myself someplace else. It is very inconvenient given the fact that I’m trying to read and make changes to materials during meetings. Having more offline functionality would also be great to support these users in such a situation. However, this has occasionally interrupted workflow when I’m on the go and offline. I like being able to organize files and have a centralized location for them, plus the collaboration and ease of use.
