**What do you like best about Dialpad Connect?**

Absolutely nothing, because I can’t get any of my questions answered or resolved.

**What do you dislike about Dialpad Connect?**

Cannot cancel my subscription. I spoke directly with the director, who personally assured me the subscription would be canceled and that I would receive a refund. May came around and not only was the subscription still active, but I was charged again.

The worst part of this entire experience has been the customer service. Be prepared to wait 1-2 hours just to speak with someone, and then another 1-2 weeks to actually get anything resolved. Extremely frustrating experience overall.

**What problems is Dialpad Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There were very few benefits, and they were completely masked by all the issues I ran into with the customer success team. They don’t seem to have any ability to escalate problems within a reasonable timeframe, so I consistently had to wait 1–2 hours on hold just to get a response.

1. AI Features and that arrow if you click on it - you can actually see the call transcript
2. Summary feature is also awesome.
3. Voicemail feature
4. Sync with our CRM - MS Dynamics 365
5. I have dialpad on my mobile too - so I don't miss any prospect calls.

**What do you dislike about Dialpad Connect?**

Nothing much but just like SalesLoft - it should have the time zone feature too. I mean if I'm calling a phone number it should indicate that the person/prospect is in which Time Zone - that will certainly help us to not call out of time zone areas.

**What problems is Dialpad Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

2. AI real time transcription - helps to create Minutes of Meeting easily
3. Awesome feature as I can do call my customers, send a text msg and even do a video call from the single window/app.
4. Audio quality is good
5. Communication is much more streamline as for eg - if i call a particular number - past history is reflected or stored which can give you a better idea about your last conversation/communication.

**What do you like best about Dialpad Connect?**

Overall it's been a greate expirence, I love Mobile app more better than Deskotp. I can trasfer the call between devices as well as Saleforce platform. I am currently waiting for Toll free texting feature as we are high on the SMS side as well from our CC team.

**What do you dislike about Dialpad Connect?**

Nothing in particular, but it’s really frustrating when the salesperson who sold you the product leaves after making some promises, and then a new salesperson comes in who doesn’t know what we’ve already been through. That’s a real pain.

I hope Dialpad can have a more stable team on the sales side to maintain a good relationship. Also, I didn’t like that after onboarding, the salesperson never reached out to me to get an update on the account.

The best feature of Dialpad Connect that I like is that it allows me to manage the calls, messages and meetings on one platform with ease. The call quality is reliable. Using AI as the power behind the app, it is easy to follow a conversation and enhance communication through functions like live transcription and call summaries. It is easy to use and is compatible with remote and hybrid teams.

The only negative aspect of Dialpad Connect is that certain advanced features and reporting capabilities are not as powerful as the ones of traditional phone systems. The quality of the calls might be poor in case of the unstable internet connection and certain integration may need additional configuration. The system is also simple to operate in geeral, although the more advanced customization requires time to master.

Dialpad is a simple-to-use VOIP client with great AI tools for recapping and summarizing meetings. The website is easy to navigate, and the admin area makes it straightforward to view reports and see real-time user activity. It also offers flexibility in choosing which device you receive calls or texts on.

**What do you dislike about Dialpad Connect?**

Setting up the IVR was not intuitive at all. Dialpad customer service also wasn’t very helpful when we ran into issues.

That’s been a major theme with them. It can be difficult to get in contact with your dedicated rep, and it often feels like they avoid taking meetings or addressing complaints. I even had a Dialpad rep schedule a meeting with me to “review changes in the platform” for our company, but it ended up being a sales call, even though I asked multiple times whether it would be.

Our organization previously had an expensive telephone bill and no real way to send text messages. This meant staff was either using a personal phone or getting a company cell phone. Neither was a good solution and introduced costs or risks. Dialpad resolved that with a simple app on a computer or phone.

**What do you like best about Dialpad Connect?**

The most helpful part of Dialpad is convenience. No longer do we have to deal with the limitations of a traditional phone system. I can receive calls and texts on my direct line wherever I happen to be located. Calls can easily be forwarded to me. 

Additionally, the flexibility of the system is impressive. I can receive calls whenever I wish and set times when I am not available. We can use a variety of capabilities - or not. It is up to us and we can determine the amount of technology we use and pay for.

**What do you dislike about Dialpad Connect?**

There is occasionally a drop in service. 

Additionally, sometimes it can take a second or two for service to begin after we answer a call. The result is that we may answer a phone call, but your client does not hear us answer and greet them. If we do not repeat the greeting, the client might feel like the call never connected and hang up.

Remote meetings, No longer dealing with the cost of owning a traditional phone system, and the analytics available to us are all helpful.

I like that Dialpad Connect has options to manage users properly. They provide detailed reporting and analysis about the calls, which is really helpful. Reporting helps me understand how many calls have been made, how many connected, the talk time, and it gives me a quick summary of how the calls went. I also appreciate the tags that summarize the nature of the calls, like if they were scheduled, not interested, or nurturing. The initial setup was pretty smooth because we were given a dedicated account manager, which made the process easy. We were able to get up and running very quickly, and people can access it easily.

I think sometimes when I call the African region, there is a bit of lag on the call. So that connectivity issue could be something that could be improved.

what I like  about Dialpad is that calling feels simple and not confusing. I can focus on the conversation instead of thinking about settings. The setup also does not take much time, so it is easy to start without extra steps.
In consultation type work, clear calling matters a lot. The call quality feels stable, and features like transcription help in getting a basic idea of what was discussed, so follow-ups become easier.

I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist and manage a homeopathy clinic, and i also handle online consultations, so tools like this help in managing patient communication in a more clear way.
I don’t use it all the time, but from what I have seen, it has enough useful features and still feels simple. It can fit into normal workflow without making things complicated.

Just one thing I noticed is that sometimes the transcription or summary is not fully exact, so I still need to check things manually.
Also, for simple consultation calls, some features feel more than what I actually need, so I don’t always use everything.

I like Dialpad Connect for its ability to function as a comprehensive phone system that isn't tied down to hardwired phones. One of the main advantages is that a coworker living in a different country can answer our phone systems remotely, which is incredibly convenient for our business operations.

I don't like that it has a size restriction for texting larger size photos. Also, the settings are not easy to configure. It doesn't have a lot of potential for open API and integrations that we would like

We have been having strange UI issues where notifications don't show until you quit and restart the app. Headset issues where Discover headsets are showing up in Dialpad, yet are not working properly, but the same headsets work with Zoom and other systems. Also, configuration of the different departments could be more simplistic, yet at times it seems like the only answer to some problems is to buy a phone number. Overall, it is still working through some kinks.

We needed a good VOIP system that would allow us to manage calls across various offices simplistically and to get rid of existing phone plans. The AI features simplify the process and allow for a better experience.

Dialpad Connect was a fairly solid solution for us. I like the good AI recording recaps, which helped us recall contentious conversations for later review. It recorded calls effectively, and the ability to set up auto attendants was beneficial as it helped us establish call queues for the correct forwarding of incoming calls.

It really came down to cost. Not worth the amount they were asking. Other platforms offer these options for less. Quite bumpy at the start. Dialpad support was hard to get a hold of, and not very helpful.

We had issues when we first switched to Dialpad, the sales team had flat out lied in order to get or business, and there was no attempt to honor their promises. We ended up building our own custom integration to make it work with Salesforce. But even substantially worse is the dishonesty and lack of integrity on how they run their business. They require an annual contract. Before the contract was due we were told we could not make any changes until the renewal time. And literally the day after it auto-renewed, we are told that you cannot make changes after renewal, we need to wait until the following year. So you can't believe anything your sales rep or support rep tells you. It turns out, our contract states we can request changes ONLY in the 45 day window prior to renewal. So review your contract, don't listen to your sales rep or your support rep!

Easy to manage calls and texts with multiple marketing phone numbers as well as between PC and mobile.

There was a clear lack of implementation and support from their team. When we first adopted Dialpad, our organization was never properly set up, which resulted in low adoption rates and a general dissatisfaction with the product. On top of that, we encountered numerous technical issues. Clients frequently struggled to join Dialpad meetings, and calls would often drop. Service disruptions were also a common occurrence.

We chose to switch to Dialpad in order to streamline all of our customer-facing phone calls and meetings, making sure that everything was integrated into our CRM. On the admin side, it’s been pretty straightforward to manage users and settings, which makes it easier for IT to support without a lot of overhead. Overall, it just feels like a modern, reliable tool that reduces friction compared to juggling multiple systems.

One thing I dislike is the slight latency in phone calls. There is often about a ~1 second delay between when I speak and when the other person hears it, which can make conversations feel a bit less natural, especially in fast back-and-forth discussions. It’s not constant, but it happens often enough that it’s noticeable compared to traditional phone systems.

Customers can click a link and it take them directly to the meeting, no messy software downloads or updates to worry about. Easy to schedule appointments.

Call quality can be glitchy at times, though it has improved over the past year. My main issue is that I have Dialpad through T-Mobile, which makes the online customer support chat essentially useless. The same goes for the contact information within the Dialpad interface.

When I try to get answers to basic feature questions, I’m eventually referred (often well into a chat or call) to a T-Mobile support number. While T-Mobile reps have improved over time, initially they were unable to help at all, which was extremely frustrating.

I would prefer to sign up directly through Dialpad and discontinue service through T-Mobile, but no one seems able to assist with that. I should have been directed to Dialpad proper from the start. The partnership between T-Mobile and Dialpad creates a confusing support experience and is a real issue that needs to be addressed.

It has similar features as slack for team collaboration - we have channels and can tag team members - threaded conversations are super important and help us talk about many things at once in the same channel, but keep them organized. 
The fact that all our team members can call from the same shared phone numbers, but not all receive calls has been incredibly useful. 
It has a simple interface, works all the time, we have had VERY few interruptions in the many years we have been using it.
Phone app is really great!

The customer service is a little difficult, since we can't assign texts, or write internal notes on individual texts, voicemails or transcripts. We also can't link to text messages or calls when messaging the team in our channels. We ended up moving our text messages to a system that integrates with our Electronic Health Record, and has more task management features for customer service conversations.

What I love most about Dialpad is the perfect balance between cutting-edge features and human-centric support. Their AI transcription is a total game-changer for my workflow, but it’s the back-end support that really sets them apart. Our account managers were amazing, making the often-nightmarish process of number porting and SMS registration feel completely seamless.

The desktop application is so intuitive and user-friendly that honestly, a kid could navigate it without a tutorial. Beyond the interface, the quality of service is rock-solid; we’ve experienced virtually zero drops, static, or distortion. Setting up complex call routing is surprisingly simple to configure, and the granular call reports give us exactly the visibility we need

The only real downside is that the call forwarding structure—on both a user and administrative level—needs more development. As an administrator, I need more direct control to enable call forwarding to other devices, especially for transition periods when an employee leaves or goes on vacation and someone else needs to step in immediately. Furthermore, it would be incredibly helpful if administrators had a real-time view of every user's status with the ability to make changes on the fly. As a 40 person small business, it's very convenient to have chat, voice, and video integrated into a single platform. We were previously using three disparate vendors. Some of our employees, while great at their specific jobs, are not very tech-savvy and the platform has generally been intuitive enough for them to navigate and utilize without issue. The mobile apps are pretty solid and a nice option for employees to call and message on the go.

**What do you dislike about Dialpad Connect?**

The messaging product (for internal chat, not SMS) lacks some basic features that would make it more user friendly, easier to consume, and increase more widespread adoption: basic text formatting options (bold, bullets, etc), hyperlinks, file uploads besides images, links to channels. It doesn't need to be Slack, but lacking these basic features has led to some resistance to adoption with some employees using other messaging services rather than staying within Dialpad. Dialpad Meetings could be better integrated into the Dialpad Desktop app. Employees seem to use it for on-demand video calls with other employees. Scheduling meetings is not very intuitive (if even possible?) through the Desktop App and most users are reverting to other tools they are familiar with for scheduled meetings (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet).

It allowed us to replace our legacy phone system and provide more flexible voice options for our hybrid workforce. It has become our default platform for internal messaging and video chats as well.

The integrations is good and seemless but marketing dashboard requires an improvement.  
Currently,  UI/UX looks ok at the design face but we have to import and export data manually which compromises the team efficiency.

The Dialpad AI is a game changer! Having the ability to read recaps for both inbound and outbound calls, including full transcripts of the calls, has helped us meet the needs of our guests immensely. We ave experienced some bugs, specifically with the mobile app. When reported, the team is generally quick to respond and work to implement a fix for these issues.

**What problems is Dialpad Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dialpad has helped us with scaling our ability to assist more guests with both incoming and outgoing calls. We began using the system during the COVID-19 pandemic, which increased our call volume drastically and quickly showed that we had outgrown our old piecemeal system that comprised of some users on Google Voice, and others just using their personal cell phone numbers. Now that we have Dialpad, we have a professional auto attendant to help direct our calls, and our Vacation Planners are just a ring away. And if we miss any details, the AI generated recaps are there to lend a helping hand in improving our guest satisfaction.

**What do you like best about Dialpad Connect?**

We would rate Dialpad Connect a 7 out of 10. From a company wide perspective, it has proven to be a capable and modern cloud communications platform that supports both in office and remote team members effectively. The overall interface is clean and professional, which makes onboarding new employees relatively easy and reduces the learning curve compared to more traditional phone systems. Centralized administration is a major advantage, allowing managers and IT staff to handle user provisioning, number assignments, and device management without unnecessary complexity.

One of the most valuable features for the organization has been the built in AI capabilities, including call summaries and transcriptions. These tools make it easier to document conversations, review client interactions, and keep internal teams aligned without relying solely on manual note taking. Call quality is generally reliable across desktop and mobile, and the ability for staff to use the same business number from multiple devices has added flexibility to how and where work gets done.

Dialpad Connect also integrates well with other business applications, which helps it fit into existing workflows rather than feeling like a separate system. Having voice, messaging, and meetings in a single platform streamlines communication and reduces the number of tools employees have to manage throughout the day.

**What do you dislike about Dialpad Connect?**

One of the biggest frustrations with Dialpad Connect is the way the interface handles switching between regular company use and the admin side. The layout for moving between personal use, company settings, and administrative controls just does not feel intuitive. It often takes more clicks than it should, and the navigation flow does not always match how people naturally think about managing a phone system.

The tab and menu structure can feel cluttered and a bit disorganized, especially when you are trying to make quick changes or find a specific setting. Instead of feeling streamlined, it sometimes feels like you are hunting through layers of menus that are not logically grouped. For a platform that markets itself as modern and user friendly, the admin navigation in particular feels like an area that could use a serious usability refresh.

It is not that the features are missing, because most of the tools you need are there. It is more about how they are presented. The experience of bouncing between user view and admin view can be annoying and breaks workflow, especially for people who have to switch contexts frequently throughout the day.

**What problems is Dialpad Connect solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of having scattered communication tools by bringing calling, texting, voicemail, and meetings (not used often in our Org) into one cloud based platform. Instead of relying on physical desk phones or separate systems for voice and messaging, everything is centralized and accessible from desktop and mobile devices. That flexibility has made it easier for teams to stay connected whether they are in the office, working remotely, or on the go.

It also addresses visibility and accountability around business communications. Features like call logs, recordings, and AI generated summaries make it easier for managers to review interactions, support training, and maintain documentation without adding extra manual work. From an operations standpoint, centralized admin controls simplify user management, number assignments, and system changes, which saves time compared to traditional phone providers.

Overall, it benefits the organization by making communication more flexible, trackable, and scalable, especially as teams grow or shift toward more remote and hybrid work environments.

We use dialpad in conjunction with Salesforce.  It saves our reps so much time because they can immediately call their leads and their notes/call recordings are instantly attached

For reps that use the phone app along with Salesforce, calls will sometimes get rerouted or there will be confusion on where the call goes

I like that Dialpad Connect is quite efficient and works like a regular phone, so I don't need any introductory course to use it. Additionally, it is very fast and secure when talking to drivers, and having it handy on the computer is really convenient. I also find its keyboard very comfortable because I can place it wherever I want, which is essential when I need to view several documents simultaneously during a call.

I would like the keyboard to have an option to make it transparent, so that you can see through it.

**What do you like best about Dialpad Connect?**

I like Dialpad Connect because it offers a variety of features in one tool. I appreciate that it provides me with lines, saves contacts, records calls, and works as a messaging tool for my team. I love that it uses AI transcription, which is very accurate and easy to get used to. The AI records and analyzes the flow of calls in real-time, suggests assistance for resolving calls, and even provides some scripts to use. It automatically saves the transcription of every call, giving me a summary view. I find the initial setup easy as 1 2 3, with wonderful support and guides on their website and the convenience of logging in using my Google account.

maybe only the fact that it eats up your whole screen or most of your screen

What I like most about Dialpad Connect is how naturally it combines business calling with AI features that are genuinely useful in day-to-day communication. Real-time transcriptions, smart summaries, and analytics make it much easier to keep track of conversations and stay on top of follow-ups, especially for sales and support teams. The interface is clean and intuitive, it works reliably across devices, and it integrates well with common productivity tools helping keep communication organised and efficient without adding extra complexity.

What I don’t like about Dialpad Connect is that call quality can sometimes vary depending on network conditions, which can be noticeable during important conversations. Some of the more advanced AI features and analytics are only available on higher-tier plans, making the pricing feel a bit expensive for smaller teams. And while the interface is modern and clean, a few settings and customization options could be more flexible to better support different workflows and business needs.
