"Simple Integration, Useful Dashboard, and Solid Security"
4/5
What do you like best about Dfns?

The integration was simple, and the dashboard experience is genuinely useful. The pricing is good, and security is solid. When issues came up, they were resolved quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dfns?

There isn’t anything specific I dislike; it’s more that some specific features are missing, such as delegated multi-user wallets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christopher Grilhault des Fontaines of Dfns

Thank you, Robert! Your feedback means a lot.

We’ll be investing more in delegated wallets this quarter and through the end of the year. Please feel free to ping us on Slack with any similar requests or use cases.

"Highly Customizable, Surprisingly Efficient"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Dfns?

I find Dfns to be customizable, which is great as it offers a licensing wrapper in certain regions. The integration time is shorter, and I have the option to choose between HSM and MPC models, which is beneficial for expanding to certain jurisdictions and needs. I also like that the product can be tailored and the on- and offramp network is strong, allowing us to go beyond the wallet infrastructure and use other providers. The initial setup has been going well so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dfns?

More preset configurations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christopher Grilhault des Fontaines of Dfns

Thank you, Franz! Appreciate the feedback.

Have you seen our latest "Role Templates": https://www.dfns.co/article/introducing-role-templates. Hopefully that's one step closer to more preset configurations. We also intend to roll out Policy Templates and Automation Templates soon.

"Clear Documentation and Rich, Flexible Functionality"
4/5
What do you like best about Dfns?

The documentation is clear, and the functionality is rich, offering a lot of flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dfns?

If I had to pick one issue, DFNS’s dashboard is pretty unpleasant to use. I sometimes get hit with rate limits, and the address search doesn’t always work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christopher Grilhault des Fontaines of Dfns

Thank you for the honest feedback. We’ve done a lot of work on the dashboard recently and will keep improving it. The address search issue is a bug, and we’ll look into it.

Rate limits can be increased with a simple message to our team on the support chat, so feel free to ping us anytime.

Glad to hear fee sponsorship and the bring-your-own Canton validator are working well for you.

"Intuitive Integration and Support, But Wallet Management & MPC signature messages Needs Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Dfns?

Dfns has been straightforward to integrate into our platform. To be honest, you do need developers to handle the integration, but the thorough documentation makes the process much easier. The product is also very intuitive for end users, and we benefit from an excellent team behind the product who are attentive to our feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dfns?

There are a couple of aspects we would like to highlight. Firstly, the MPC messages that need to be signed are not user-friendly, which makes it difficult for signers to clearly understand what they are approving. Secondly, the front end for managing wallets and policies is quite complex, as there is no way to organize the information efficiently. Even a basic feature like organizing policies and wallets by "tags" would significantly enhance the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christopher Grilhault des Fontaines of Dfns

Thank you, Lucas! This is really helpful feedback that we’ll take back to the team. Improving the user and admin experience on the dashboard is a top priority for us right now. Dfns has always been an API-first product, but we’re now focused on making it safer and easier to manage for non-technical users, something the market is clearly asking for.

"Smooth DFNS Integration with Clear Docs, AI Help, and Responsive Support"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Dfns?

Integration with DFNS has been smooth. The API is straightforward to integrate, and the documentation is comprehensive. There's also an AI assistant on the docs page that helps our engineers get answers directly without back-and-forth. Support from the DFNS side has been responsive and prompt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dfns?

No major pain points so far. The integration experience, documentation, and support have all met our expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Christopher Grilhault des Fontaines of Dfns

Thank you for taking the time! Good to hear the docs and the Ask AI assistant are doing their job. We rebuilt both this year, so that feedback is landing where we hoped.

"Effortless Setup and Robust Wallet Infrastructure with Constant Updates"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Dfns?

I appreciate Dfns for its low entry cost and robust infrastructure, which made it an excellent alternative for our needs compared to other expensive options. The setup process was straightforward and easy, which was a great start for us. I'm impressed by the robust wallet infrastructure that Dfns provides, especially with its prebuilt integrations with third-party vendors, which saves us a lot of time and effort as we don't need to integrate them individually. The core functionality of the wallets, particularly sending and receiving, is extremely beneficial for our operations. Additionally, the fact that Dfns frequently ships new features shows their commitment to constant improvement, which is crucial for us. Lastly, I value the team's support and the ongoing updates, which give me confidence in their service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dfns?

I don't like the limited support for USDT, which restricts our operations in certain markets we cover. Additionally, more blockchain support on USDT tokens, including integration with Solana, would be highly beneficial for us. I also feel that incorporating low-cost on-ramp and off-ramp features and integrating a card program would enhance the platform's offerings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
