What do you like best about Dext?

I love the single dashboard for all my clients and powerful ability to handle multi-entities, this tool has really saved my business a tonne of time and allowed me to scale effectively. I love how easy it is to set my own pricing, get the client going and go paperless. If you truly want a paperless workflow then ReceiptBank is essential. Another factor I enjoy is the ability to see who has uploaded the expense and to manage petty cash expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dext?

Pricing is quite steep for a sole trader, there needs to be more tiers and clarity on pricing as many bookkeeping firms I talk to have this issue, we are all using the same software but on different pricing. My favourite part is getting clients happy to upload receipts, with receiptbank even the oldest or most technology resistant clients have jumped on board and decided to start using ReceiptBank which means we report on expenses better and handle client relationships more efficiently. For me receiptbank's homescreen where all the unpublished items are laid out clearly for easy review and publishing is key. But the fetch tool is also really cool. This software has radically changed how I do business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dext?

lack of information about the pricing of each product level (I wish it was provided bia the website or even by email to partners). Also I don't like that at the base level I cannot publish my items to approved bills in Xero. I am stuck with it sending to draft and then have to approve them in Xero. Receipt Bank's interface is exceptionally user-friendly, on both mobile and online platforms. It is easy to tell that it was created with both client and accountant in mind. The ease of use for the client allows for a high-level of transaction detail at the push of the button, and directly provides that detail to the accountant within minutes.
