Would be expensive to small business' wanting to use. Wish it would use re-occurring bills and remember the chart of accounts allocated like Xero does, I don't use this for our big recurring bills as it would take longer to write all the descriptions, wish receipt bank would do this. Also would like descriptions brought across from the invoice automatically if there is one. **Recommendations to others considering Dext:** Give it a go as you will see time improvements, also if using with mutliple companies you will find this easier to manage than xero files :) Also easier to get other people to upload receipts quicker **What problems is Dext solving and how is that benefiting you?** time-saving entering in bills, easy for others to use and upload receipts, easier to manage and organise than Xero files as I found Xero files difficult and timely. getting more receipts quicker and clients are more likely to send them using the easy app they are provided with as it doesn't take up much of their time as it used to. ### 2. I love how easy it is to set my own pricing, get the client going and go paperless. If you truly want a paperless workflow then ReceiptBank is essential. Another factor I enjoy is the ability to see who has uploaded the expense and to manage petty cash expenses. **What do you dislike about Dext?** Pricing is quite steep for a sole trader, there needs to be more tiers and clarity on pricing as many bookkeeping firms I talk to have this issue, we are all using the same software but on different pricing. My favourite part is getting clients happy to upload receipts, with receiptbank even the oldest or most technology resistant clients have jumped on board and decided to start using ReceiptBank which means we report on expenses better and handle client relationships more efficiently. ### 11. But the fetch tool is also really cool. This software has radically changed how I do business. **What do you dislike about Dext?** lack of information about the pricing of each product level (I wish it was provided bia the website or even by email to partners). Also I don't like that at the base level I cannot publish my items to approved bills in Xero. I am stuck with it sending to draft and then have to approve them in Xero. It is easy to tell that it was created with both client and accountant in mind. We absolutely love the product and would highly recommend it to any firm looking to scale their practice. In addition, the staff are friendly and easy to deal with and so I would definitely suggest getting in touch with them whenever you have any problems. Overall, they have streamlined our bookkeeping process and allowed us to take on many more clients than we ever could have done without the platform. If you are looking to have a scaleable practice, then implement RB now and ensure you team are fully equipped in how to use the system and it will save you hours that you can use towards getting more clients onboarded and also save you a room full of files :) We don't keep any files at our office and its one of the key things we tell all of our clients as I think this is a common occurrence at most normal accounting firms. I remember when I was an audit clerk that there was a massive filing room. This seemed crazy, but it was necessary due to the old way of doing things.
