What do you like best about SkillPanel?

Being able to use one tool to assess skills during hiring and then continue using it throughout the employee lifecycle to assess growth is such a dream. Managers can be trained on one system that they develop actual trust in and encourage their teams to use and update. Employees also seem to enjoy being able to see their skills so clearly and having recommendations and seeing their own skills map grow creates enthusiasm for the team to use the system and to keep adding to it.

The system is comprehensive and thorough while still staying simple to use and get started on.

Most importantly, it has made understanding our team and its development so much easier than it was and made us a lot more confident in how and where to grow our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DevSkiller is very comprenhensive platform to support HR professionals in talent management and competence development in the organization. All the functions on this platform is built in a very structural way: from analyzing current status of employees' skills, to the dashboard for manager to have an overview of their team, then suggest the learning measures based on the skills. The platform not only provides the overview about current status of team's skills, but also help managers to define what they should do for each person, and also resource planning for the team. What do you dislike about SkillPanel?

It would be recommended that the skills rating should be divided into different proficiency levels (for example: foundational, intermediate, advanced, mastery) and also the required proficiency that each position needs. I really like that this tool combines a lot of functions, which are needed for a successful decision-making process, such as skills management, performance reviews, feedback sharing, promotion ability evaluations, etc. It really helps both managers and HRs to make a proper decision, related to the employee development in the company. What do you like best about SkillPanel?

1. Provide complete skills set that can be reviewed by user and manager.

2. Good user interface, I can understand fast all the features.

3. Learning feedback recorded as dialogue between user and its manager

4. Learning map related job position, comparisson between team member achievement, learning recommendation.

5. Can be used for promotion attribute, assess the skill and job fitness, clear score of distintion when we try to meet the skill standard in related position.

6. Ability to connect with HRMS or HRIS in the company's legacy system.

7. The system will be access by employee frequently because their will compete to have better score to open more probability to have good performance appraisal and also possibility to be promoted.

8. As far as I communicate with Devskiller, they always give the fast respond, friendly and solutive.

1. With those kind of capability lead DevSkiller quite a little bit pricy.

2. The integration phase and in the future doing the customization will lead into another developer cost.

What do you like best about SkillPanel?

This product is a very detailed one that focuses on talent management processes, particularly in technology companies. Although it may seem a bit complicated, it has a very well-designed UX. This makes it effective for both skills and career map management. As an HR Director with some experience in developing similar tools, I know very well the importance of non-problematic integration with HR systems such as SAP SuccessFactors and Workday for such products. This product also performs very well in this regard and offers compatibility with many common HR software solutions. 1. While the in-house guidance of the product is helpful, a more comprehensive user guide would make it easy to use effectively for all users.

What do you like best about SkillPanel?

It's an integral part of the recruitment & HR process. It can also be used into a succession plan for when the employee wants to move roles and other departments can see the skills that the employee has gained to ensure competencies are there for the future. This could be used in numerous ways including performance reviews.

The analytic tools are clear and easy to use with either detailed or high level views to provide comprehensive metrics.

Assigning skills and certifications is a great way to ensure employees are fully competent in their job roles.

The skills profile clearly displays the employee skills which managers require to ensure they are fit to the roles or working towards the desired competences. This is a vital tool for employees in new positions or not achieving performance to the required standard. It is a constant battle for performance improvement and measuring skills in regular and annual reviews. This will highlight and provide evidence which will be crucial and align with all HR frameworks.

The transparency between the employee and manager is very important as you can clearly track the progress and set clear objectvies and timelines.

The most helpful feature is the ease of use and the way the system can SHOW your employee the pathway to advance in your company, which is essential for employee satisfaction and retention. The layout of the tabs is helpful for me because it so user friendly. I don't have a hard time navigating or understanding where to go next or how to use the analytics. This system can do so much! I can't think of anything I dislike about the product. Ensure you have a staff that will use the product and supervisors which will support the use of this product and do their part.
