We’ve been using DeskTime for a year now. It’s very easy to use and helps us track how our team is working. The data helps us understand where time is going and how we can work better. i mostly use the productivity bar for my timesheets at the end of the week- sometime end of month. When i go back and look what i was doing a certain day it is hard to read with the 5 minutes bars. i wish there was an alternative option o choose from to visualize the bar differently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I don't like is that DeskTime appears in the computer's Control Panel, making it visible to all users. I would suggest adding an option to hide the software from control panel. I prefer that employees are not aware they’re being monitored through the software, and it’s important that they cannot uninstall it without permission.” Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using it for almost three years.
We got this implemented within 2 days of signing up. The most important feature for us is Time Tracking and department wise APP/website mapping.

I don't see any downsides. Only, minor thing that at the first I thought that I will not have to pay subscription for me as an administrator, if I am not downloading app on my computer. Each user assigned to the account is included in the subscription plan, regardless of their role or if they're actively tracking their activities with the app. Owners and Admins have other features included in the subscription plan, like access to the Dashboard, Reports and Exports, and Settings for all account users.
While we currently don't have the option to exclude Owners from the subscription, we're actively exploring ways to improve our service based on customer feedback.
