Initially it was the lack of brokerage tied to the the Enterprise level TMS solution. I would like more mobile functions and a continued improvement of automation and carrier database capabilities. **Recommendations to others considering Descartes Shipper TMS:** Catch the best up and coming TMS solution out there that is everything inside one platform, versus a lot of bolt / add ons. 3G will be the leading TMS very soon, if not already. The various ways to tender out loads to carriers gives us the option to get the best rate from the market. Capacity agreements on day level makes the tender proces very efficient and avoids unnessecary communication to our carriers. The possibility of the integrated execution management gives us the possibility to drive continuous improvement. **What do you dislike about Descartes Shipper TMS?** the possibilities for internal reports is limited for realtime reports and online editing comments. **Recommendations to others considering Descartes Shipper TMS:** meet with the executive team in the US to evaluate if there is a cultural fit between the 2 companies **What problems is Descartes Shipper TMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** automation of the workflow in order to handle large quantities of orders. Our people should focus on adding the value to our customer by increasing service levels and driving costs down. ### 3. Furthermore building filters is easy. 3GTMS is building a controll tower functionality that covers our actual needs **What do you dislike about Descartes Shipper TMS?** It's a pity that we can't use 3GTMW for the asset part of our business. Another point is that due to the fast growth of 3GTMS there is a lack of developers capacity and that causes delays in implementation. **What problems is Descartes Shipper TMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** In our 4PL business we use 3GTMS for allocating loads from different customers to carriers. The tool enables us to allocate loads according to agreed business rules that take the agreements with customers and carriers into consideration. This involves as few people as possible, so rather cost effective. ### 4. There's too much split screens and expandable windows to where you feel annoyed navigating in there. The system is not very self intuitive so it requires a lot of repetition and patience. **Recommendations to others considering Descartes Shipper TMS:** This is one of the better products in the market. In that capacity, it works great most of the time. **What do you dislike about Descartes Shipper TMS?** This does not happen often but occasionally there are issues that may not be identified right away by either us or 3GTMS. We end up finding out about the issue later when it is too late to make changes. I think they need better proactive monitoring of their automated processes. **What problems is Descartes Shipper TMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** They help us consolidate deliveries and determine the best mode and most cost-effective carrier for each package and shipment. ### 10.
