I use Descartes MacroPoint for tracking shipments at our freight brokerage, and I like that it shows where our shipments are in real time. I appreciate that it's the industry leader and most drivers have used it before, making it easier to adopt. I find it really helpful to tell when a truck is going to be late to a shipper or receiver. I like Descartes MacroPoint because it is easy to use and well-integrated into our system. The overall use and its integration into our TMS systems are very useful, and I find the tracking with phones very efficient for both drivers and dispatchers. It's convenient as it eliminates the need for daily phone calls or texts, reducing accidents on the road. I like how Descartes MacroPoint makes tracking loads easier, so I don't have to make manual check calls for updates. I appreciate its ease of use, and the control tower feature is really valuable for getting a big picture view of all loads and allows me to filter as needed.
