Settiing up Depot was the most effective initiative in 2024 and it was only a week of effort, including writing the business case and presenting to the VP. During onboarding we had a surprise with job queue time, which is the time from we trigger a job to the time the job is running.

Depot prioritized solving this issue, and within a week they deployed a new implementation that stabilized queue times to an acceptable range Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Depot is one of the best decisions I made for our team. The accelerator to DevX here is massive. We had orders of magnitude increase in our CI/CD pipelines allowing for more test coverage and quality because of the speed and cost savings that Depot provided.

Very few products just work the way Depot just works. Its stable, dependable, and basically a NOOP to implement. Every single time we've needed assistance the Depot team has been dilligent to jump in to help, and solve our problems. - FAST, does what it says on the tin.

- Super easy to get going. We just had to change a couple of lines in our github actions workflow file to start building Docker images using Depot.
