## Dendi LIS Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient and User-Friendly LIS for Streamlined Lab Operations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

What I like best about Dendi LIS is its focus on making laboratory workflows more efficient while still being user friendly. I appreciate how it helps streamline communication, reduce manual errors and improve access to important patient and testing information in real time. It seems designed with both operational efficiency and quality patient care in mind, which is something I value strongly in healthcare technology.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

One drawback I have noticed about Dendi LIS is that like many evolving healthcare platforms, some workflows can feel limited when trying to customize them for highly specific operational needs. There can also be a learning curve when adapting to new processes or integrations, especially for teams transitioning from more established systems. Improving flexibility and advanced reporting/customization options would make the experience even stronger.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi LIS is solving many of the inefficiencies that come with managing laboratory operations manually or across disconnected systems. It centralizes patient data, test orders, reporting and workflow management into one platform, which helps reduce administrative burden, minimize errors and improve turnaround times. This benefits me by making daily operations more organized and efficient, improving visibility into lab processes and allowing more time to focus on quality service and patient care instead of repetitive administrative tasks.

  ### 2. Dendi LIS: Streamlined Lab Testing with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelley T. | Clinical Research Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I love that Dendi LIS is extremely organized and accessible for my sites. The best aspect is the search tool that allows me to look up patients in numerous ways. The initial setup was extremely easy and seamless.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

The only thing would be the search criteria limiting with the date of service and having to change that every time.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi LIS solves organization and paperwork issues. It's extremely organized and accessible, with a great search tool for looking up patients in numerous ways.

  ### 3. Efficient, User-Friendly, and Accessible Anywhere

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dallas D. | Toxicology Scientist , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I like that Dendi LIS is browser-based, and I can access it from anywhere. It makes it easy to access in the lab without needing a dedicated computer.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Browser uses a lot of nesting but that may be unavoidable

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi LIS streamlines workflows and makes access easy, even releasing results via audio. It's browser-based, allowing me to access it anywhere in the lab without needing a dedicated computer.

**Official Response from Christopher Chen:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Dallas! We appreciate your input about viewing submitted results in their respective batches.
This functionality currently exists and can be accessed by navigating to the "Instruments" tab and selecting "Data Files". This should allow you to review the results from each batch.

If this is not exactly what you are looking for, please don't hesitate to reach out to support. We will gladly work with you to explore solutions to meet your needs.

Kind regards,
The Dendi Team

  ### 4. Please create a merge order function - no AI please

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rea M. | Lab Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

The ability for providers to add wet signatures. The autofax function is also helpful

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I cannot merge orders.
I cannot reject multiple tests at the same time.
I cannot reject and auto-reorder multiple tests onto the same order unless the entire order is rejected.
I do not like that orders are able to be entered without a collection time and date listed.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lab accessioning

  ### 5. User-Friendly LIMS with Quick Lag Fixes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I like how user-friendly Dendi LIS is. As a whole, Dendi is very easy to use, and all of the information you need is readily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

At times the website lags, but it’s usually a quick fix. When batching, sometimes the information isn’t scanned in appropriately and it creates a lag on the website.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi LIS provides all the patient information we need to analyze data appropriately.

  ### 6. Easy Navigation but Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I like that Dendi LIS is easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

There should be an easier way to see all of the pending. The sortment of labs from specific dates and having to change the calendar to back dates can be easier. Collectors should be automatically updated along with time and date when labels are being printed.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Dendi LIS for laboratory interfacing results. It's easy to navigate.

  ### 7. User-Friendly and Efficient for Lab Order Reviews

I find Dendi LIS easy to use and user-friendly. It's also easy to read, which makes my work with reviewing lab orders smoother as I can easily see why the labs were ordered, the diagnosis codes used, and confirm the date of service.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Nothing so far

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi LIS lets me see why labs were ordered, view diagnosis codes, and confirm the date of service.

  ### 8. Easy-to-Use Layout That Makes Problem-Solving Simple for New Users

The layout is easy to use for problem-solving, especially for new users.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I haven’t found a way to narrow down samples by who received them.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s the foundation of our company. From what I’ve heard, it’s better than any other interface we’ve had.

  ### 9. User Friendly and Simple for Laboratory Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It's highly modernized interface and customizable report simple to use and setup, lab staff is able to setup even without IT experience.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Required slightly more time to integrated with EMR

Interfacing with analyzers and EMR

  ### 11. Streamlines Accessioning but Faces Connection Issues

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

  ### 12. Streamlined Processes, Easy to Use, but Some Features Need Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sheabrianna v.

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I appreciate Dendi LIS for automating processes like the result release and microbiology resulting processes, which saves us significant time. The worklist and resulting options simplify daily operations, allowing us to review results with just a few clicks and make better judgments. I like the customizable features, enabling us to make necessary edits easily, and its cloud-based nature allows for convenient access from multiple computers.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I experience some chaos during the initial setup of Dendi LIS, mainly due to the transition from a previous system and needing to dig for more information. Connecting the LIS to our instruments and setting the correct reference ranges was challenging. Occasionally, there are hiccups where results don't fully crossover, though this is somewhat mitigated by the troubleshooting team. Additionally, the record features are not as inclusive as I would like, as they do not include patient names, which makes tracking more challenging.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Dendi LIS automates processes, saving time on sample processing and result release. Its worklist feature simplifies tracking samples, and customizable, cloud-based access enhances our lab's efficiency.

  ### 13. Smooth EHR Migration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Ease of results and migration with new EHR system

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Live support when needed during work hours

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, most important problems are being resolved timely with integration of new EHR (ModMed)

  ### 14. Good resource for processing patient orders

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

The most helpful aspect of Dendi is the ordering tool which allows our sites to easily order supplies. The format is straightforward and easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

The downsides of Dendi are the exports. It is often difficult to export specific fields. It also can be frustrating to have to sort through the dates for each search in the orders tab.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi helps us to maintain track of orders and clients for our company. It helps us to log the issues we have and get them resolved.

  ### 15. Good System for Lab, Not Great for Accounting

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin L. | Medical Billing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi has a clean, easy to use interface.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi never does anything I ask. I am used to working with EMR's that take their customers requests seriously and want to adjust their programs accordingly. Dendi always just says, "Sorry, it just doesn't work that way." Regardless of how the issue is affecting our cash flow. In short, customer service is a sore spot for me.

We would like for billers to be able to webhook claims back to the billing company after insurance has been edited. Currently they can't have that without giving them access to edit labs. Those two abilities should not be intertwined. Billing tasks and lab duties should be seperated.

We would like to be able to identify hospice patients for the billing company so they can add the appropriate modifiers.

We would like to be able to seperate out Med A labs from the rest and export the information via csv, but the reports are very minimal.

We are having major issues with Diagnosis Code denials because we need to have a primary diagnosis slot, and we need to be able to limit what diagnosis's are available for the providers to choose from.

Even just small things like being able to sort the information in columns, or having the information be uniform through the program, such as last name be first everywhere instead of randomly changing up to first name first through the pages, would be nice. The small things can matter when it comes to productivity.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Dendi to take orders, track the progress of the orders, and pass the information on to the billing company.

  ### 16. Dendi LIS is in a league of their own

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian S. | Senior VP, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Not only does Dendi LIS provide a platform for my laboratory to customize, streamline, and improve our testing, they've also provided a solution that is extremely user-friendly and beautiful to look at. In terms of layout and ease of use, there wasn't any other LIS company that came close to what Dendi LIS has created and continues to improve on. I love the fact that they are constantly improving and providing updates to the software and portal. Their team is also very hands-on with training and finding creative solutions to any and all problems.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I honestly had to think hard about this as I don't have anything glaring that I dislike. They only thing that I would mention, which isn't necessarily a dislike, is that they are not as estabilished as some of the LIS companies that have been around for 20 plus years. This means that some of our other partners have not worked with Dendi LIS before and those relationships are being developed with us. Not really a dislike at all, more of a mention of something that would potentially require a touch more work or finesse on the lab side to facilitate a new working relationship. That said, any delays we've experienced with these new relationships have always been due to the other party's slow response and never once Dendi.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An easy to use LIS that provides customizations on the lab side and user end. This ensures an overall improved experience and our customers are continualy impressed with this upgrade.

  ### 17. Functional and intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brady W. | Molecular Scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

The interface is intuitive and easy to use. The design of the webpage is sleek and doesn't distract from the application of the LIS.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I would prefer more customization with patient reports and a column based filter for departments on the order screen.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi provides an easy to use platform for reporting patient samples. It helps our lab stay on top of results without requiring a ton of labor on our end. The software is user friendly and takes the pain out of the back end of processing samples.

**Official Response from Christopher Chen:**

> Thanks for your feedback, Brady!
We appreciate your input as it helps up improve. You'll be happy to know that customizable patient reports will be available soon!
Regarding column-based filters for departments, we're implementing new filters based on report types in 2025.

If you are interested tracking the progress of these updates, don’t hesitate to reach out to Support or your account manager.

Kind Regards,
The Dendi Team

  ### 18. Great LIS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

It's ease of use and accessibility make the application pretty straight forward

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

It is missing some key features and only tracks time in 12 hour format.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi is allowing us to work directly with medical facilities and making it easier for lab techs to review and release results.

  ### 19. Dendi may be the greatest LIS system ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle T. | Medical Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I love how intuative it is. It is so feature pacted for being such a new LIS and navaagating the software is a brease. It works well for our clients and that alone would make me satisfied. I enjoy how customer support is always there when you need them to be.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I dislike the hiearchy when creating patients. I beieve a patient should be tied to the facility before the doctor to ensure less duplication of patients. I dislike that I can not bootstrap the communication to the instruments, or how the target, test, test profile code system works. I wish there were more techical analysis instruments built in to diagnose inefficenties.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client ordering and reporting results in a streamlined manner.

**Official Response from Christopher Chen:**

> Thanks, Kyle! Your feedback is valuable in helping us improve the product. Here's how we're addressing your concerns:

- Hierarchy When Creating Patients: We understand your concerns about patient duplication. This is being addressed in a future update that allows you to select facility-associated patients after choosing a provider. Currently, there is a workaround solution for this situation: When creating an order, search for and select the patient first, then choose the provider. This should help to prevent patient duplication.

- Target, Test, Test Profile Code System: Please note that users can assign Alternate IDs to each of these. This feature should provide the flexibility you need.

- Communication with Instruments and Technical Analysis: We acknowledge your concerns about communication with instruments and technical analysis features. We encourage you to reach out to your Account Manager to communicate your specific needs. Our team will gladly work with you to explore solutions that work for you.

Kind regards,
The Dendi Team

  ### 20. Mostly a user friendly design.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I like the ability to choose a clinic and then a doctor and that all patients are available. This eliminates duplicates for the most part. I also like that we can build a plate map and have a CSV of the plate.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I am not a fan of how many search boxes there are. On the plate maps it would be nice if the boxes were sequentially numbered as well as letter/number combo. Over all I'm pretty happy with Dendi.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi has allowed us to better stream line our results and modify to our needs.

**Official Response from Christopher Chen:**

> Thanks for your review! At Dendi, we're always looking to improve and have taken your feedback into account.
We're currently working on giving labs the option to customize their views. Users will be able to hide fields, columns, and search boxes that they don't need to see. We've also noted your suggestion regarding the plate map boxes for future improvements.

If you want to follow up on this, don't hesitate to reach out to your account manager or to the support team.

Kind Regards,
The Dendi LIS Team

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

The ease of use. The order list is very helpful and easy to navigate for searching for samples. Ease of implementation was also a big plus. I was on the implementation team and I am also an everyday user. Dendi has been great for our team.

There is nothing glaring that I would call a dislike.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi has made the LIS experience much smoother for us. The features, capabilities and constant improvements are great for our changing field.

  ### 22. Dendi the Savior

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jonathan n. | Lab techinicain/ IT support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I like Dendi because of their instrument import. Laboratory can implement new machine very easy with Dendi. I also use Dendi everyday and i feel it is very easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I think the thing that dendi can improve is the QA trail. Everything else is perfect

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have problem with instrument intergration with other LIS, but Dendi helps getting through that part and teach us how to do it ourselves.

  ### 23. User-friendly, dependable, helpful, ample useful features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Easy to communicate, Listen to our issues and giving the very best to offer solutions, Informative

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Would be better if Inventory features can be used to keep track of reagents/consummables/etc movements and if and Billing features can be used to bill patients directly with records of the billing for individual orders showing breakdown of the tests opted for/can generate receipts for clients upon checkout.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration of multiple analyzers to one software that automatically update status of specimen and generate report. This makes our workflow in the lab much smoother and helps to reduce mistakes

  ### 24. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kat M. | Medical lab tech, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi is very easy to use. It didn't take long to learn.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi does not have a place to put tracking number once an order is sent from the site.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We get emails when a site places an order. Knowing what is coming helps me to better plan my day.

**Official Response from Christopher Chen:**

> Thanks for your, Kat! We appreciate your input and are always eager to improve our system. We agree that this would be a useful feature, so we've added it to our roadmap.
If you'd like status updates on this feature or anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out to support or your account manager.
Best Regards,
The Dendi Team

  ### 25. Not Great, Not awful

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

The web based system is beneficial in that it allows staff access to work from anywhere, the critical results section is a great option that ensures no critical results get missed.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

After using dendi for over a year now, its obvious the system was designed with molecular testing in mind, and much less focus was paid to other departments. At this point most of the set up bugs have been fixed. However, the weekly updates come at a really inconvenient time for staff, and problems with samples not appearing on pending lists until after still occur.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently awaiting fix for a qc that imports properly into dendi, and appears in the LJ, however, is unavailable for commenting in the QC Run Verification section to be fixed.

  ### 26. Very satisfied with the Dendi product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I like that it is easy to navigate and easy to implement. In daily use, Dendi works good with many features and no lags. I am very satisfied with the product.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Sometimes it is difficult to get in touch with customer support, but when you are able to get a hold they are very friendly and helpful.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is avoiding lags and keeping everything in one place. I dont have to waste time to search for different functions because they are easy to naviagate to on the website.

  ### 27. Exceeding expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Moving into the field of research from hospitals, I was hesitant to use the LIS that I was sure wouldn't be easy to use. However, Dendi has gone well beyond my expectations. It is very easy to receive in patient samples and to report the results. Dendi support has been very helpful in making any changes that we need to make the work flow more efficient. They also regularly visit us to inform us about new features implemented in the program and to ask us about any problems we may have.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I am not in an administrator role, so I'm not aware of all the features Dendi has to use, but I do not have objections about using the LIS daily.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have many patients to result on a regular basis, so the ease of the interface is beneficial.

**Official Response from Christopher Chen:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Dendi LIS! We are glad to hear that the interface has been easy to use and has benefited your workflows. Our team is dedicated to providing ongoing support and working closely with all of our customers on new features to help make working in the lab easier.

  ### 28. easy and reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlo C. | Head of Lab, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

intuitive interface, robust integration with EHR systems, and reliable performance with minimal downtime.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Downtime, I had experienced several downtimes on my instrument interface. But it was solved immediately by the team.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

LIS integration.

  ### 29. Lab Director User

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Easy sign-out of clinical reports. Nice preview of reports prior to releasing.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Email notification of reports seems to be inconsistent at times.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Report issuing in a timely manner.

  ### 30. User Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

It is straightforward and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

QC monitoring is not what we need in it's current form

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of order for our clients

  ### 31. Well maintained

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

The thing I like most about Dendi is the regular updates. The staff actually listens to our feedback and implements updates on a regular basis!

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

The only downside I can find to Dendi LIS is the software is not entirely keyboard navigatable. I prefer tabbing through forms so I don't have to reach for my mouse, and this LIS was not designed with exclusive keyboard input in mind.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi makes it very easy to manage thousands of patient samples and benefits me personally, as a Lab Technician, by automatically providing our testing instruments with tests requested and patient information so that I do not have to manually enter this information for each individual sample.

  ### 32. I like how easy the system is to use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tania A. | accessioner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

I like how the system is easy to use and allows for less mistakes to be made.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I dont like how some times the system gets updated and a feature that we frequently use gets removed.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows for less mistakes to be made while accessioning.

  ### 33. Very user friendly, straightforward, and easy to navigate.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anessa I. | Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

That it is very easy to navigate and easy to use for people who are not computer saavy.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

one thing i wish could be better is being able to upload multiple files for a patient.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to look up patient and edit and upload files.

  ### 34. Excellent Place For Laboratory LIS System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DANIELLE N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

The Accessioning and Orders tabs are what we use most. I love the Dashboard! It is a great overview of orders and shows which ones are received, unreceived, and pending. The filters options allows you to filter numerous items and makes searching for a specific patient quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

It is not a deal breaker, but i wish the whole dashboard would fit on my screen without having to scroll over.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi helps solve the problem of missing Patient/Provder information by creating hard stops that must be filled out. This helps us on our end and saves a good deal of time.

  ### 35. Dendi = the future of LIS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Søren T. | Medical Devices, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

In my opinion, Dendi is the future os LIS. Here is three reasons:

1. It all starts with the "Dongle". Think of the dongle as a "Google Chromecast", but for your laboratory analyzer! Every analyzer has their own preffered software interface (API), and each analyzer will have their own "datamodel". Traditionally, this is handled with middleware, where there are already a few vendors out there, but none like Dendi! The dongle connects straight to the analyzer either by cable or wifi. From that point, the rest of the setup is in the Dendi Admin Interface.

2. The Admin interface is highly configurable. You can create literally any test, which which ever sample type, and what ever test combination you prefer. There is options for billing and much more, but think of this interface as your "LabOS" - it's where you configure the Operating System of your Lab.

3. APIs! This is the best part. For your lab, or your company, you will have specific features and requirements. If you are like us - a software first company - you can design into each endpoint, and receive ALL data. Dendi is a true software company, that will even give you access to a Sandbox environment, where you can make sure your unique setup works with Dendi. Yes, you can build Dendi into your build pipeline, and automate your testing down to the raw value from each analyzer (!).

The last point ill make, is that the Dendi team is just "good people". Their support is responsive, and everyone is ALWAYS very friendly and collaborative!

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

The UI/UX could use some more work. The important pieces in Dendi is the actual functionality (e.g. software components), but the configuration can be a little challenging to understand. There are lot's of opportunities to improve this, and as Dendi is a modern and fast moving company, I have no doubt we will see improvements to the UI in the future.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi is giving me "out of the box" software, which in short is bringing each analyzer on the Internet. Most analyzers are designed with old archeic software. Dendi supercharges every analyzer!

  ### 36. Workability solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlo C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi has a great team. Their software product is great. The team are very eager to learn more about lab workflow and function to imrpove their product.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

There are certain features in dendi that is lacking, compared to regular LIS system. They need to improve on the reference range, rejecting results etc.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a company which uses API, and their team is working with us aggressively to make the systems works flawlessly.

  ### 37. DENDI Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tina P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

It is very user friendly. We have Physicians, Nurses, Administrators using this for our company and I always love being able to say to a new site that this portal is the easiest I have ever used.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I honestly do not think there is anything that I dislike. Even when I have an issue their support staff is very responsive.

Online chat for support would be nice.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Notifying Physicians when a report is ready they have already implemented this. Also, notification to the sales staff when an order is placed. Sales can actually track samples coming in without having to login to DENDI or asking myself to let them know.

  ### 38. Excellent customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karla J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Not only is their LIS user friendly, but their customer service is top notch. Their service team is quick to respond to any issues.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I wish there was an easier way to pull an in depth pending log for our assay.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compared to our previous LIS, Dendi is much more user friendly.

  ### 39. Useful, but...

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi has several upsides including, but not limited to: easily switch between lab locations without having to log all the way out and back in; updating information in the system is simple and fairly straight-forward; when updated information is entered, you don't have to exit the order and start over.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

We cannot see details in the audit trail, making it difficult for us to find our errors without having to constantly call Dendi for something that would only take us a few seconds to find. We were told the system would recognize tests in panels and cancel any duplicate tests within an order, it does not. Removing multiple tests is a chore. Have to archive one test at a time. When adding test profiles to an existing order, Dendi runs slowly.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of our lab locations are located within a single system. It is seamless moving from one location to another. If something is accidentally accessioned under the incorrect lab location, it is easily fixed with a few quick clicks.

  ### 40. User-friendly LIS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi is easy to use for patient reporting. We are able to upload data files that link to the patient's order and report out results. I haven't had any issues since I have started using the system. It didn't take me long to be trained on the system, which was a plus.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

So far there isn't anything that I dislike about it. I would like to see tutorials, as I believe there are features that I am not aware of.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am unaware of any problems.

  ### 41. Daily user for report

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

For the most part transfer's all results from machines

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Sometimes there are certain results that don't transfer over . Logs out in middle of report

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Manual reporting decreasing turnaround time

  ### 42. Dendi IS Awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

What I liked best about Dendi LIS was its customizable features and its super intuitive user interface. Outside of the actual LIS, the support team was incredible. Anytime we had an issue ( and there weren't many ), or we needed a new feature added, they were open to communication and got right on it.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

For our covid testing business, there really was nothing I didn't like about Dendi. For months we were working on finding the right Lab Info System and nothing checked all the boxes. Dendi was the first program that fit our needs.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big problem Dendi solved for us was getting patient test reports out to them with all the pertinent and applicable information in an automated/encrypted fashion. Prior to Dendi, we were doing these reports manually, which was super time intensive for our team and caused a lot of overtime work.

  ### 43. Dendi LIS review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

The system is well-designed and very practical.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I wish that it would flag the provider when putting in the order if all the necessary information is not put in when placing the order instead of double checking on the back end.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi helps us not have to use multiple software systems for ordering, receiving, and resulting patients.

  ### 44. Dendi as a tool is intuitive and useful, however not very flexible for broad application.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Cloud based, rather than application based, software in the lab industry is a must. Keeping everything online is the best way to optimize the efficiency necessary for a lab to succeed.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Being a smaller company, Dendi has struggled in the past with hot fixes for bugs that render updated tools useless. I don't believe there has been enough testing done prior to full releases to give me confidence in new features.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi allows me to improve the user experience of our more remote clients by providing an intuitive UI and easy to operate registration process. This improves client satisfaction from the beginning.

  ### 45. Dendi LIS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Overall, I like the product.
The team at Dendi is very responsive and knowledgeable regarding technical support and development.
The UI is slick and polished (mostly), and it is very easy to navigate.
The API is beneficial and easy to work with

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

The product is relatively new, with some usability and integration gaps.
There are some UI glitches and shortcomings, but they are constantly updating the application, so I expect these issues to be corrected in future revisions.
Dendi does not provide much of the user-defined customization you typically see in other LIS applications. For instance, Dendi has no user-defined fields or tables.
Most LIS systems these days natively support HL7 2.x integration and many of the major vendors support HL7 FHIR as well. Unfortunately, Dendi does not natively support HL7 FHIR or HL7 2.x integrations. All integration with the LIS must be handled through the Dendi API or an integration engine that interacts with the API (Dendi favors Mirth).
Analytics and ad-hoc reporting capabilities are limited.
A lot of overhead in API traffic due to how the data is structured and what data is returned.
The API documentation is frequently out of date or incorrect.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi LIS is used by a laboratory that we integrate with. We do not use it directly for lab operations.

  ### 46. Dendi simplifies the SAAS LIS model for medical laboratories

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** D M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi's LIS platform for medical laboratories is robust and easy to use. The onboarding process was fast and efficient - No downtime! Training my employees was effortless because the system is highly intuitive. In a nut-shell, I like that Dendi is a SAAS program that is easy to use and implement. You will be up and running in days.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

We love Dendi's software. There is nothing to dislike.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Laboratory Information System

  ### 47. Sleek, Modern, Professional, High Functioning Lab Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randy L. | Business and IT Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi LIS has taken a different road to success than its competitors. They chose to create a platform to solve LIS problems from the ground up. This produces a user-friendly, professional, modern, sleek solution. Most of the competitors in this space tack code onto an outdated product creating Frankenstein Software. Dendi upgrades their product every 2 weeks using suggestions from within and from their clients. They are careful to keep their clients within compliance and explain why the suggestion is not a good one. Technical Support is excellent. Dendi addresses current trends much more quickly than other software in the lab environment and even compared to main stream software.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I cannot think of any downside or dislike.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi has created software that is fast and efficient. They have an excellent provider interface for order entry and reporting. In addition, there is a patient portal now that labs interact directly with patients. They stay abreast of all compliance issues related to their software and make sure their clients are always safe on issues related to software.

  ### 48. Dendi LIS Software Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Ease of use. Ability to integrate quickly and easily with EDC and billing software. Sleek laboratory interface. Easy to set up and start using in the laboratory. Staff listen to concerns and develop solutions to address them. . Physician Portal is easy to use by clinical and research staff. Equipment integration is available. We can color code and flag test results on patient reports. Responsive technical support team. The staff listens to clients and then makes updates to the software that will benefit all users no matter what type of testing you are doing from basic CBC to more advanced sequencing/high complexity testing. Report QR codes are good, especially for labs providing tests like Covid-19. Document control is good whether it is account set-up forms, physician verification documents, as well as insurance cards when placing test orders.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

More detailed analytics section or separate software that would capture additional site or test statistics for non-testing site personnel. The ability for sites to order kits/laboratory materials through LIS physician portal.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They were able to provide a system that can be used for standard patient testing and billing as well as IRB-approved clinical trial testing in which patient data is de-identified so we only need one LIS in the lab. The instrument integration reduces the potential for human error in data entry.

  ### 49. Great people with a great product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizzie V. | Laboratory Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

The most helpful part of Dendi is its ease of use. The workflow is so easy to grasp that it takes no time for new users to learn and champion the system.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

I do think there is room to grow in the quality control portion of the system. The team at Dendi has listened to my concerns on this front and is actively looking at a solution.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi has left creating and modifying new tests at the fingertips of the user. This allows the lab management team to create real-time changes to any test or test profile when needed. Gone are the times when a ticket must be put in to make a minor change.

  ### 50. Great Support and Service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Dendi LIS?**

Dendi's support staff is quick to answer questions and develop new features. Their API is accessible and extensive.

**What do you dislike about Dendi LIS?**

Some functionality isn't present yet, so Dendi workflows sometimes require temporary workarounds.

**What problems is Dendi LIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dendi is interfacing our proprietary software and our clinical laboratory instruments, letting us automate our workflows.
