One aspect that almost always fails is the effectiveness of the requirements. Gathering and documenting requirements in a way that is meaningful to the customer is often the most difficult part of software development.

On many occasions, clients are intimidated by the details, and with this approach specific details are required, provided at the beginning of the project. In addition, customers can not always view an application from a document of this type. Wireframes and models can be helpful to get an accurate picture of what the end user will get.

Another drawback of the waterfall development is the possibility that the client is not satisfied with the supplied software product. Since all deliverables are based on documented requirements, a customer may not see what is delivered until it is almost finished. By then, changes can be difficult to implement and costly. CenturyLink Cloud offers a very powerful IaaS offering that is above industry average. They also offer a unique blueprints feature to quickly provision VMs with the tools you need to get started; it doesn't save you months of time, but does make it more convenient for you to get started without having to download and setup yourself. Benefits is that I can access my files from anywhere, iPhone, computer etc. This is a huge benefit with being a Realtor on the go 24/7.
