What do you like best about Definitive Healthcare?

I like that Definitive Healthcare provides specific details on measures around restraints and seclusions, along with any reported infractions. It helps identify if a hospital is having issues with restraints, seclusions, or ED boarding at the ER with psych patients. What do you dislike about Definitive Healthcare?

What do you like best about Definitive Healthcare?

They have fundamental information on most hospitals and health systems. Relatively easy to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Definitive Healthcare?

Contracting and their litigious nature. 3-year agreement to evaluate the value of the service and an AUTOMATIC 3-year renewal without warning. Canceling is very difficult. What do you like best about Definitive Healthcare?

a one stop shop for all the background insights and statistics on an organization. anything from financials statements, list of executives to size and affliations. i dont believe you could find this information just by googling, and if you could, it would take 10x the amount of time. the infromation is displayed in an easy to understand format. all the information stays up to date. the only downside is i wish there was even more information. The same information can not always be pulled for every organization so sometimes there are small gaps however i dont believe that is directly Definitives fault. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Deceptive Contracts, try to force their "value" on you"
What do you like best about Definitive Healthcare?

Nothing. We had a one year contract with DH, we did not find the service valuable to our company. As a smaller company we have a limited budget for expenses like this but it was worth a year contract for us. We did not find the service to help us at all, when we wanted to cancel our contract after the year they told us we missed the window to canel and the contract auto-renewed with an 8% increase.We were not aware of the canecellation date, but we were just a few days late nontheless. We met with the VP who basically said he couldn't do anything to help us and it was our fault their service didn't meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Definitive Healthcare?

We don't like anything about it. The interface is clunky. The search methodology is complicated and unintuitive. But the real problem i s we've found error rates up to 30% of lists generated requires us to spend a lot of time cleaning it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Definitive Healthcare?

Pretty much everything. We were leary of signing a 3 year contract (required) with a service we'd never used before. When we mentioned this the sales rep said "we'll work something out if it's not what you need. We're not in the business of forcing our contracts on companies if the service isn't what they need." And yet....you guessed it...this is exactly what they've done. And I'm sure this is why they insist on 3 year contracts - no one would renew. Our Account Rep Anthony was cool, tried to help (hard to fix systemic errors in data collection). But everyone else we worked with was unhelpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Unfortunately the data isn't updated in real time and I have found that the contact data many times is outdated or no longer accurate so you are better off using a company like ZoomInfo if it is contact data you intend to use Definitive for Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
