**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables AI agents voice capable. People can interact with the agent like they are talking to a person live and not just chatting-typing. It increases the overall productivity and speed.

  ### 9. Fast Transcriptions with Some Accuracy Issues

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I use Deepgram for transcribing audio and I really appreciate how fast the transcriptions are. I like that I can get word-level transcriptions and VTT, which help me to add captions to videos. The setup was fairly easy, only taking a day of work.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The accuracy of the transcriptions isn't always great, especially with names of people. Some people's names might sound like something but are spelled very differently, so the transcription gets the phonetic spelling instead of the correct spelling.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for transcribing audio quickly. It provides word-level transcriptions and VTT, which allows me to add captions to videos. However, the accuracy of transcriptions, especially with people's names, could be better.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for real-time transcription of therapy sessions. It solves transcribing live audio and recordings with high fidelity, accuracy, and low latency.

  ### 11. Reliable Transcription with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clay S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I like the quality of the diarization with Deepgram, as it seems better compared to other speech-to-text services, which often have drift in longer meetings. The sentiment analysis is another feature we are using and it works well. The initial setup was very easy, and we were able to fully switch over within a day.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The rate limit is much lower than competitors. Forcing the customer to build the queue and pipeline rather than having that in-house seems like an odd choice.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for transcribing long meetings and accurately diarizing who spoke. The high quality of diarization and sentiment analysis empowers our business to extract metrics and improve customer performance.

  ### 12. Cost-Effective Solution with Simple Configuration

The user may also take a little bit of time in leaning to use the full capabilities and features of this platform.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool enhances our team's efficiency by decoding lengthy speeches or meetings and pinpointing the main ideas within audio files. By summarizing long audio into shorter, more manageable segments, it allows us to quickly grasp the key points, ultimately boosting the team's overall productivity.

I have used Deepgram for both STT and TTS, and I appreciate how it helps me deliver the best resolution to my clients. I really like the documentation that Deepgram provides and the dashboard where I can analyze my usage. For development purposes, they provided me with a $200 credit, which was quite sufficient. The performance is impressive, and I'd rate it 9 out of 10. Setting it up was really easy, which is a plus.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

For TTS service, Deepgram was too slow compared to Cartisa and Eleven Labs.

Deepgram gives me the best resolution for TTS and STT, surpassing browser quality.

  ### 20. Deepgram - 6 month experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aishat A. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Launching OSCE Guide six months ago as a solo founder felt impossible at first—the costs alone were daunting. Joining the Deepgram startup program changed everything. Since then, we’ve gone from just an idea to hundreds of users, with a service that’s been rock-solid the entire time. Users especially love the hyper-realistic voices, which have gotten a ton of praise.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

The main downside is the cost. The minimum is $4K in credits, which is still high for early-stage startups with lower usage. It would be great if there was a lower tier for smaller teams or projects just getting started so we can all benefit from the high concurrency and speed Deepgram offers despite financial constraints.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Postgraduate doctors in the UK must pass clinical simulation exams to qualify as consultants or GPs. The biggest challenge is finding practice partners — everyone’s busy, schedules rarely align, and this leaves many underprepared.

Deepgram enables us to offer a 24/7 AI practice partner that doctors can speak with anytime. This helps them get the practice hours they need, sharpen their communication skills, and walk into their exams fully prepared.

  ### 21. Accurate Transcription, Smooth Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vibin Y. | Sr. Product designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

I use Deepgram for its STT service, and I really like the models and its services, especially the STT. Deepgram helped with accuracy while transcription, and I find its nova model to be good and STT is quite well. Switching to Deepgram from Elevenlabs improved my experience as it was not as easy with the previous software. I also appreciate that the initial setup of Deepgram was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I think TTS is something which requires some improvement. Buffering latency. Like I feel it is slow and can be improved.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for STT service; it helps with transcription accuracy.

  ### 22. Perfect Application for Voice Processing

Deepgram solves voice lagging, delays in speaking, and pronunciation issues, making speech-to-text and text-to-speech smoother.

  ### 23. Great for Transcription, Needs Diarization Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wyatt C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The quality of Deepgram is overall quite good. I personally really like the Flux model. The detection of pauses and mid-sentence transitions is a nice feature because it doesn't complete a transcription for a sentence that shouldn't be a complete segment.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

I think our latency is slightly bad, and we'd love a more reliable speaker diarization feature. Diarization specifically, was really bad when we tried it out. Would be nice if we could provide context (such as names) and have diarization work super well.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for voice transcription at Contio, providing solid transcription for meetings and improving our AI's voice interactions by handling pauses naturally.

  ### 24. Deepgram Flux Was the Best Decision for Our Voice Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liad O. | AI Solution Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

I like that Deepgram gives a generous $200 free credit for using their API. It's very generous. I appreciate that they support many languages, almost 100, which is fantastic. The initial setup was very easy and intuitive, and I used Claude Code which made the process smooth. I enjoy transcribing my podcasts and don't need to use many APIs, I just use Deepgram so far.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

it's still a bit slow, and if it could be faster it will be amazing

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram lets me transcribe podcast episodes in almost 100 languages, so I don't need multiple APIs.

  ### 26. One Stop Solution for Speech and Text Services.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** japendra o. | software engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram is a AI powered service provider that provides many services including speech to text, text to speech, sentiment analysis, entity analysis, summarization and many more. i like most about deepgram is it's speech services quality and customization. For example for batch transcription deepgram provides many configuration options like custom prompting for enhance accuracy, custom phrases detection and language auto detection. also deepgram has a multilingual supports (that is currently not provided by many other providers but deepgram has ability to do it that i like most) so it's enhance the readability of transcription. also deepgram has a clean developer documentation so it's very easy to understand for developers.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

one point that i dislike about deepgram is language support, although deepgram has nova-2 and nova-3 models for its speech services but that support less number of languages. but deepgram currently working on language enhancements to support more languages.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

deepgram is working on language support enhancements, i have recently get mail from deepgram that added some of languages including German (de), Dutch (nl), Swedish (sv), and Danish (da). also deepgram is working on better speaker diarization for mono audio and better transcription quality. other configuration options like key prompting that is used for custom prompt for transcription is only supported for nova-3 and some of language that deepgram enhancing it and adding more languages and models.

  ### 27. Best STT tool we could find

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael H. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The Speech to Text tool is the best we could find especially for Portuguese, but also for English and Spanish. It has very good performance both in terms of latency and accuracy. It has never been down during the period we were using or we had any problem.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

We still integrate Deepgram to Vapi, and let Vapi orchestrate the agent. Deepgram doesn't have as many features or is as intuitive to build the orchestration as Vapi.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Deepgram as our STT in a sales simulator, where the IA plays the role of a customer and a sales rep practices with the AI. Therefore, the STT must be low latency and have a good accuracy. ### 46. Deepgram Delivers Consistently Accurate Transcriptions for Complex, Technical Conversations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

Deepgram consistently provides very accurate transcriptions, even in complex conversations with technical vocabulary. This reliability makes it much easier for us to process conversations and extract meaningful insights from speech data.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Support responsiveness and Keyterm Prompting reliability. While the core STT models are very strong, we’ve had a frustrating experience with technical support. In addition, the Keyterm Prompting feature has not been functioning reliably in our environment, which limits our ability to guide the model toward domain-specific vocabulary.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram solves the challenge of converting real-time conversations into reliable text. For FlowLinker, this allows us to capture and structure technical sales conversations automatically. Accurate speech-to-text is critical for turning live discussions into usable data that can later be analyzed, structured, and integrated into our workflow.

  ### 47. Fast, Accurate STT with Outstanding Turn Detection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Nothing comes into my mind

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deepgram for its STT service for our AI customer support agent. It helps us transcribe the incoming user voice quickly and accurately.

  ### 48. The Most Suitable STT Solution for german voice agents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hendric M. | Co-CEO / CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

We love Deepgram because low latency is absolutely critical for our voice agents. Deepgram’s Nova 2 and Nova 3 models are extremely fast while still delivering the high accuracy we need. This is especially true for German, where many other models quickly lose precision — but Deepgram continues to perform reliably.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

There’s actually very little to complain about. The only point that was a bit challenging for us in the past was that the Nova 3 model didn’t yet include a specifically trained German version. From what we understand, this has now been addressed — so that concern is resolved. Other than that, the only small inconvenience is that invoices for pay-as-you-go plans can’t be accessed directly via the dashboard.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deepgram transcribes telephone audio into text for us, enabling fast and seamless voice orchestration. This allows our voice agents to respond in real time and ensures that conversations feel natural and fluent. Without Deepgram’s low-latency, high-quality transcription, this level of interaction would not be possible.

  ### 49. State-of-the-Art Speed and Quality, Simple Integration That Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naman H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Deepgram?**

The speed and quality of the models are state of the art. simple to integrate and just works.

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Would like to have more voices. also I was looking for voice id and voice cloning features which weren't there. that would have been a complete package. also the pricing felt a bit high than the competition as was burning through the tokens pretty fast. a bit leniency on it would be appreciated.

**What problems is Deepgram solving and how is that benefiting you?**

voice agents. am building those via livekit and deepgram is the go to for me

  ### 50. Reliable, Fast, and GDPR Compliant

**What do you dislike about Deepgram?**

Nothing really comes to mind now.
