  ### 2. STAY AWAY FROM DDC - TELL YOUR FRIENDS THIS IS THE WORST WEBSITE PROVIDER OUT THERE!

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom P. | VP, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

GM DEALERS- STAY AWAY from DEALER.COM AND THERE WEBSITES ! We have been with them since the begining of this year and are ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!

Our website is never accurate with inventory county, photos, placement etc on a weekly/monthly basis.

They've tried to offer 6 months FREE of there website and they still can not get there sh*t together.

Phone call after phone call, emails, text nothing but lip service and false promises.

I was once a huge DDC advocate but PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM DEALER.COM!!

THERE ARE MUCH BETTER WEBSITE VENDORS OUT THERE!

THESE GUYS ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GARBAGE.

Dealer.com by Cox Automotive your company sucks and I will tell everyone about your AWFUL WEBSITE!

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

EVERYTHING! THEY LIE, TECHNOLOGY SUCKS AND THEY CAN NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH ANYTHING!

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NONE THEY ARE AWFUL

  ### 3. Dealer.com review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BHANU P. | Assistant Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

It is user-friendly interface and excellent social media advertising. For a smooth online experience for consumers, we can create customised pages with widgets and social network links as well as include widgets from other vendors. Higher recommended platform.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

On both a phone, the website had bugs and was difficult to use.Need to add more features for enhancing their flexiblity on dealer.com. Nothing i have no complaint regarding this platform.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are a fantastic, cost-effective solution for automobile organisations with several websites; we manage just well with what we have, and even if they could provide us a bit more visibility, we aren't breaking the bank. Whatever you pay for, you get in better manner. This platform is the future of automotive industry.

  ### 4. Dealer.com is automotive recognized and fastest in digital marketing for automobiles

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

Good frontend user friendly . One of the competitive dealers and bring in or attract new customers. Good social media advertisments.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Automotive cox is large, its not easy to cover. The website is bit slow to open.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are consolidating data into a format which are easy for their customer agile for us and one that drives business to the bdc and stores.

  ### 5. We use Dealer.com to host our website services

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barrie W. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

Dealer.com provides us with a relatively simple platform to maintain our online website presence. We can add custom pages with widgets and social media links, as well as integrate other suppliers' widgets for a seamless online experience for our customers.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

The included website layouts are a little cookie-cutter. We would enjoy a little more customization that could be done at the dealership level, but most add-ons need to be submitted through a ticket with Dealer.com.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can track our website visits, update our inventory listings, add custom pages to capitalize on leads for new vehicle releases, and now provide our customers with the option to complete the purchase process online so that they only need to make one visit to the dealership to pick up their new vehicle.

  ### 6. One of the best

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michaela H. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

Since Dealer.com is a part of Cox Automotive, they have the best man power behind them. They are fully and seamlessly integrated with all of our other Cox products (xTime, Vin, vAuto, etc.) and give us what we need.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Because Cox is so large, their support and innovation can sometimes lack. I have had minimal problems, and truly enjoy working with them! I do also have a Dealer Inspire account, and I feel they are a bit more advanced, but I enjoy both.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of staying within compliance, manufacturer demands, staying in front of our audience and offering them the best possible experience when purchasing a vehicle, parts, or service.

  ### 7. Full control at my finger tips and clicks!! Love it!

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Wish I could implement more creative pop ups , overs and unders , LOL

Easy to change pricing, add sales events and can do this 24/7 anywhere anytime.

  ### 10. Cox is one of the best for a reason!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

Dealer.com is one of the top website providers for automotive. They provide everything we need, and have seamless integration with our other products.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Because Cox is such a massive company, there are a few things that tend to fall to the wayside such as cutting-edge innovation and support, but overall we have had a great experience.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Website management team and full system integrations.

  ### 11. Recommendation would have been higher just a few years ago

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marina P. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

I like that Dealer.com was an accepted website provider by many/most car manufacturers from the beginning. We went for a provider that most manufacturers would accept (and co-op), but also require the least amount of training since you only have to learn one backend platform then. I like that Dealer.com provides advertising along with the website. The one time we appreciate an "all-in-one" option since they can integrate everything and start inventory feeds themselves then.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

I dislike that on their advertising they are really generic. Everyone always says they make it more local to help with SEO (especially their SEO package). But, turns out that is not the case. Also, it feels like the longer we have been on Dealer.com, the more they are falling behind their competitors. I keep pumping up Dealer.com to our dealership managers to avoid complete overhauls to a different provider. However, I believe with the next website update, I won't be able to avoid it any longer. Other sites just look better and seem to have options that Dealer.com just doesn't offer.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everyone needs a website, right. It's also good when a manufacturer co-ops that website, so that is what Dealer.com is helping with by being an approved vendor. They also do our Facebook advertising (retargeting ads), since it tracks people who come on the website. Dealer.com also becomes the one place we feed inventory from to all third party vendors and sites that we partner with. They offer unlimited export feeds on our package.

  ### 12. Great Support Team, Website Design Options not so much

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

DDCs support team are great to work with and are always willing to TRY matching our website's desired vision. However, their website designs/coding are a bit dated and many basic functions are sub-par or non-existent. For an automotive website, web impressions are important and I feel that at times, our website is kind of a painful experience to navigate through.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

See above note of what I like best as I've already contrasted what I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Dealer.com:**

We are in a unique situation where we have two automotive website hosts for 6 different franchises, so we are able to compare them against each other in real-time. For a budget, DDC is great. However, their are better more stream-lined and sleek options available that blow DDC out of the water. Still, you get what you pay for with Dealer.com.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They're a great affordable option for automotive groups that have multiple websites, we get by with what we have, and even though they leave us wanting a little more in regards to presence, we're not breaking bank. You get what you pay for.

  ### 13. Okay tech, excellent support!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keely F. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

I love our rep, Pat Morrissey, and the support he provides. Always friendly, always eager to listen to resolve issues. He makes the whole service worth it - good support is hard to find when automotive sales tech is a dime a dozen.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Sometimes the tech can be a little glitchy, most recently it's been timing out in the middle of my work just because I'm writing a long segment of content and I didn't save it periodically (not knowing I'd have to while actively using the widget), and it does require support often. We have a good system going and we generally get by very well with our own skills and a good rep.

**Recommendations to others considering Dealer.com:**

Easy to use, the leader in automotive tech for dealers

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the problem of running 6 sites and having them all be consistent across the board. The benefit is having sites that all function properly, similarly, and that make us look very good compared to our local competitors.

  ### 14. A level suitable for financial vehicle processing is established with dealer.com

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

It is the supply of purchase addresses that manages the dealer.com software's automatic network server, which manages a collaborative fiscal year operation, where its vehicular negotiation account positioning, its user relationship coordination, its asset management delivery server, an interpretation of the company's automatic purchase balance, inclusive marketing follow-up prioritizations, internal control activations for fast vehicular sales mechanisms, scalable advertising offers, are directed with the sales server used by this programming.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Production marketing tracking used by the dealer system. com contains account amortization errors, where they tend to change some vehicle purchase prices in real time by the demonetization of the electronic wallet system and misaligned exchange rates for solid banking transactions, which organizes a decrease in the adjustment of market quotations, causing inconveniences in the purchasing sector of my company, having to define a statistical metric performance sharing, being able to reasonably identify the import of templates and arrangement of documentation needed for the commercial system of my company, benefiting users by managing a safe and convenient procedure.

**Recommendations to others considering Dealer.com:**

Qualified networks of professional negotiation at dealer level are managed by this server, which manages the operations of your company, selling, distributing and supporting with dimensions of simplified web learning, handling an alternative interface with progressive marketing prioritizations, systematization of last minute offers alert for frequent purchase users, purchase tracking estimates, monitoring of subscribers related to campaign visualizations, operation of data connectivity exchange in the cloud, are of the recommendation values that perfect my commercial system.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This platform is used to manage professional media advertising operations, instant messaging communication channels addressing, dealers values grouping, foreign import vehicle offering, local market traffic network adjustment positioning, online documentation tracking, composite organization for customer service, indicative of approaches to the presentation of new vehicle models, cloud marketing assurance, intelligent purchase recommendation tracking, automatic search selection for corporate relations, intelligent metadata adjustment control, manufacture an edition of professional industrial relations for the immediate sale of automotive mechanical products.

  ### 15. Easy to use and learn

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

Easy to learn, drag and drop features, wizards to help create campaigns, support team is readily available

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Backend tool times out quickly. Reporting is delayed

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to streamline my lead generation, chat software and inventory all in one place. Having the same software for all of those things maximizes my time.

  ### 16. Great customer service and problem solving

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

when I call, I get someone on the phone in under a minute every time. If they can’t help me immediately then they only take a few hours for most of my requests.

90% of my requests are handled on the first call. My account manager is also on point. She is helpful and knowledgeable about the industry and our business.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Some of the layouts are out of date. They are refreshing some. But we have many accounts and it is hard to sync an overall look or style because of these different layouts.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem is consolidating data into a format that is easy for the customer, agile for us and one that drives business to our bdc and stores.

  ### 17. A great software with a lot of useful insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

I love the backend to this site. It makes everything so amazingly simplistic. When I manage multiple different accounts, it is easy to navigate what I am looking for. Inputting data is so simplistic and I love how whenever I have trouble, I can call my account manager to ensure that everything is working out correctly.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Sometimes, when you have one account manager who oversees you, and your competitors, it can get fairly tricky. I am a little disappointed in this regard, however, one call was able to remedy this with a new manager

**Recommendations to others considering Dealer.com:**

Ensure that you continually put the clients before any and everything else. You make it easy on us, and as a result, we love the work that is currently being done.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I didn't know how the backend could be so easily simplistic. I really enjoy not having to stress as much over any and everything. It really takes the worry out of the equation.

Sadly, we do not use this product anymore, and have come to realize that the previous issues before Dealer.com are making their ugly head rear again.

  ### 18. Full featured, but falls down as a CMS

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

Dealer.com's platform is by far one of the most comprehensive and full-featured web solutions in the automotive space. Their offerings with respect to inventory management, procurement, and advertising management are quite good, and if configured properly, and used effectively, can be the lifeblood that runs through running a truly digital dealership.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Where dealer.com falls down is that, as a mature platform, its UI is inherently dated, and its tools have a hard time keeping up with some of its competitors in certain areas. For example, a platform like WordPress has many options when it comes to design and visual builders, whereas dealer.com's site editor offers little flexibility in its designs, instead leaning on custom design from the company to put any kind of professional polish on a site. Differentiating by design is becoming more and more important, and while there's some merit in a familiar interface for car shoppers moving from one site to the next, there's a homogenous feeling to the sites that fails to offer an elevated customer experience.

**Recommendations to others considering Dealer.com:**

If you are okay with a company controlling every aspect of your digital presence, Dealer.com might be for you.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a former consultant who aided clients with their dealer.com sites, the aim was to implement a one-platform solution for the entire dealership's operations - from sales, inventory management, advertising and marketing, to service appointments, finance applications, and more. The benefit of having one integrated system for all of this is that you can be more sure that the tools will work together, speak to each other

  ### 19. Automotive Industry Held Captive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

There are some elements that are easy to edit, once provided adequate access. The dashboard and tabs allow for easy edits and the overall menu structure is user friendly

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

They essentially have a monopoly over the automotive market. As a result, getting in touch with support for small changes (if not provided access) can take days. Sometimes it's quicker to call, as long as you have 30+ minutes to spare just for someone to pick up.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have to go through Dealer.com in order to effectively optimize a client's website. Their default SEO is essentially duplicates across all dealers. Again, as long as you have adequate access, edits are as easy. But don't copy something from a word doc!

  ### 20. Easy to use!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kylie S. | Photographer, Automotive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

I like that it’s easy to get around and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

There is nothing that I don’t like about this website.

**Recommendations to others considering Dealer.com:**

The site is already perfect I don’t have any complaints.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am in charge of uploading photos to the website for the dealership I work at and this website makes it easy to just upload all the photos I need to do.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

I didn’t like when they would make changes and updates with out proper notifications and advise on the changes

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was working on dealer.com to increase the seo value and that have good site structure which helped driver more customers to the website

  ### 25. Cost is not worth it

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

It had an ease of uploading photos -clean layout. Support was easy to find.

It was a naturally slow site, with security issues. Was difficult to access information of customers even once logged in. We switched off this site in order to design our on website.

You had access to multiple pieces of customers information at once.

Most of my clients have websites on dealer.com. The support team is great when there is an issue.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

There are lots of bugs and plenty of things that go wrong. There are things that the user should be able to change but can't and have to call support.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 30. Wouldnt recommend

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2017

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

The ease of organization is nice. And navigation of my customers is easier then the last crm we used.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

Hard to put it into a few words but the program is slow and hard to work with. Im assuming every crm needs updates but it never really helps. The mobile app is awful. Needs a ton of work. I switch from wifi to my lte network whrn ealking out of the building and itll barely load when i have full bars. I ended up deletingnit because it was just a waste of space on my phone. It froze constantly. The program is easier to work with on a computer but i cant speak for the dinosaurs we use. Not to mention the fee im charged to use this for every deal i put together is outrageous but not the crms problem.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its fairly easy to navigate... but for some customers i get 5 tasks to complete on the same day. I appreciate being able to gey an advanced search for just my customers but thats all ive really been able to do in over a year of using it.

  ### 31. Provides up to date analytics at your finger tips

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle K. J. | Digital Marketing Manager | Recruiting Coordinator, Automotive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2016

**What do you like best about Dealer.com?**

Dealer.com provides transparent data from our website. It is almost as thorough as Google Analytics and very easy for people with little digital marketing experience to navigate. I also enjoy the ability to be able to see mobile hot spots and better understand where my customers look first on our site.

**What do you dislike about Dealer.com?**

There is not a way to run ad-hoc reports automatically outside of 3 or 4 templates. Also, even though I am a full admin for my site there are some edits that I cannot make and I have to wait for the support team to do it for me. They are generally quick but it can be frustrating sometimes.

**What problems is Dealer.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to understand web traffic and enhance my search engine rankings. I like that the data is up to date and allows me to see as much or as little as I want.
