The firmware usually adds a ton of features. Statistics are a great feature which allows you to track network activity. It is pretty easy to figure out who's connecting, when and how much data was pulled. I like the fact that it adds features often aren't available in out-of-box solution like guest network, multi-WAN, VPN, multi-SSID setup. Overall there is not much I really don't like about DDWrt. Maybe having a new UI would be refresher, But as it is it's very functional, so maybe there is no point in even touching that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
