I use DB Visualizer continuously throughout my day.
The ease of use is great. I can see all my data easily and perform any data operation that I need.
The ability to export/import data to/from files is crucial for some of the work I do. This works great for minor backups when doing data manipulations on critical databases.
The online documentation is thorough and well written. The only time I needed customer support, they were quick responding and solved my issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't much that I find that is missing. The one item that I think would beneficial (in my cases) is to be able to use script variables in filenames when exporting to a file from and SQL script.
Even without this feature, I would recommend this software to any developer that needs to work with databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Look and feel, ease of use, dark theme, keyboard shortcuts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Code completion is not available/inadequate, code folding functionality missing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Working in a school district, I deal with a lot of databases from a lot of different vendors. With DbVisualizer, I can easily switch between all the various databases (including Oracle, MariaDB, mySQL, and Microsoft SQL server), all from one interface. I use this application daily in my position as Data Manager. Installation and configuration was simple. Customer support has always been fast and friendly, but I have not needed to contact them frequently. Pricing is extremely reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wish there was a solarized color scheme, though the dark theme in v24.2 is pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Free version available, perpetual pro license, and discounted upgrade path for upgraded licenses. Pro features rival those of database vendors' query tools. Scheme visualization and editor tools. Query result exports of either selected rows/columns or all results. Migration tools have been greatly helpful. And of course, all the various tools I expect to have in any quality database query tool. I've never had a problem that internet searches haven't been able to solve, so I've never had to contact support for anything other than a license problem I caused when upgrading once. It was rectified right away and without hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When looking at the raw table data on some large tables, it slows quite drastically if you disable the max rows setting (which I've done and regretted on numerous occasions). There have been historically a little messiness with regard to creating functions, stored procedures, triggers, and such. However I believe they recently fixed that in the current version 12. Lastly, finding some of the configuration properties (like how dates/clob/blobs are displayed) seem a bit more difficult than they should. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the best options with DbV is the Query Builder. Being able to build queries through this tool helped me to visualize and understand syntax, table joins, and many other features. I was a beginner when I started but now I am not only able to write queries with out the query builder, I also have a better understanding of how to use a db to maximize the data analysis. This is one tool that I open first thing in the morning and use it all day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I also use SQL Server and I think one feature that would be nice is the side by side screens so I can run 2 or more queries at one time and see the results on one tab instead of 2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DbVisualizer works with a lot of Database types - PostgreSQL, Informix, MariaDB, Oracle and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can be resource-heavy on less powerful systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything that I want to do is achievable with a simple click of a button. Other software requires custom code or extensions. For example, to export your results into an Excel document using this software is a single click! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface could be simpler to use and more intuitive. I will google how to do something in the software if I haven't tried it before. Everything I want to do is found using a quick google search and review of the help documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One view for all, connections, commands, results, well designed and organized! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None to dislike, but a little complaint is a bit slow to start application, but isn't a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having used DbVisualizer for 10+ years now, I really enjoy the slick GUI as well as making my work with databases more efficient Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
