What do you like best about Dayforce?

My favorite part of Dayforce is how easy it is to navigate and learn. It is user friendly and allows you to make updates to a page and see what would change before you hit the save button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dayforce?

Dayforce is truly one system that processes in real-time. Using Dayforce has allowed our employees to enroll in benefits completely online, track their worked and non-worked hours and only have one password to do it all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For us we process for 42 FEIN so the set-up can be a bit tricky to navigate, since some of the settings are done at a global level, where we need them to be managed at the FEIN level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dayforce?

The Knowledge Hub is great; it is hard to say enough about that application. It is very full-featured, but like Excel, it is hard to fully take advantage of all the possibilities. After all the work we put in to develop the pages and links, we wondered if employees were actually using it. The report came back so positive that we ran several tests looking for the data error. But it was correct; 96% of employees had accessed the site in the first 8 months of the year and 40% had logged in the morning we ran the report. Half were using the mobile feature. What do you dislike about Dayforce?

A dedicated power user with XML coding knowledge is required to avoid expensive consulting fees. Persons not familiar with computers sometimes struggle with non-intuitive processes. Persons in HR and payroll who use it all the time do not have problems. An example is some data entry blocks that do not show up unless you run the mouse over them. some people just look at the screen waiting to see where they are supposed to type the information. Ceridian is in love with revenue enhancement and charges for things that would help users get more ROI out of their investment - user training should be pushed, not kept behind paywalls. The maintenance fees for time clocks, which are pretty much maintenance-free, are way too high Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dayforce?

I find Dayforce to be extremely useful when it comes to receiving payroll support for Canada and US payroll. The strong knowledge base is available for users to access and the support team is very responsive for topics within this country. It is useful to be able to reach and get personalized assistance when an issue arrises within payroll. The portal is very easy to use and there are several guides within the Dayforce knowledge portal to be able to access information that can be implemented as a customer is working through different modules, such as payroll. I do use Dayforce to commit payroll semi-monthly and I always feel like there is something new to learn. However, it's a user friendly portal and the ease of completing payroll has become familiar to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dayforce?

One of the downsides for me within Dayforce is the support provided for the international countries. We use Dayforce to complete payroll for in the UK and Ireland. When a ticket is raised, the support team is not as responsive as they are when providing support in Canada and the US. What do you like best about Dayforce?

I love the recruiting and position management the best. It is easy setting it up with my position descritptions. Dayforce makes it easier to keep track of all my current positions. Our managers all they need to do it is make a request, read over the current pd, and send it to us. We can post the new recruitment within minutes if not seconds. The onboarding system. It is not the smoothest ride to go from interview candidates to the new hire onboarding part. However, putting the new hire in dayforce is easier. Just onboarding is a little bumpy. It might be user error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
