What do you like best about Dayforce?

Ceridian software covers all aspects of the employment process. I mostly work in payroll, and many of the features make it easier to complete payroll for multiple entities each week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dayforce?

Sometimes its hard to navigate through all the features of Dayforce, especially when it comes to implementing new policies. You have to make sure you've checked all the boxes so the feature will work for you. This means going to several different areas of Dayforce to make sure everything for that new policy is enabled or matches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dayforce?

Employees can receive work-life balance strategies.

It can control the growth of staff.

To take care of payroll payments.

What do you dislike about Dayforce?

I would like to see the Ceridian Dayforce UX/UI updated because it seems old and unintuitive.

Manual entry for benefits functions in human resources should be simplified.

Mastering Ceridian Dayforce takes time, which makes things difficult for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I recommend Ceridian Dayforce for the following reasons:

It allows you easy access to tax services, human resources and payroll alternatives.

You can update and manage payroll with the system, as well as your payroll activities, all from one hub.

Employees can use the self-service site to manage and view their information.

You can pay your employees properly and on time.

The data can be accessed and audited at any time during the payment cycle.

HR information silos can be eliminated.

With conventional, one-time and on-demand payments, employees can access their money whenever they want.

What do you like best about Dayforce?

I am very pleased with the process of running payroll. We do not use Dayforce time clocks but our own imports from all of our store locations and are able to run successful payruns and imports. The system is very user friendly and built around our needs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dayforce?

I am very unhappy with the inconsistency of dayforce support answers. We are funding that we get multiple answers for the same question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Dayforce?

Nothing. There is nothing special to like about this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dayforce?

Everything. You would think our company was working for Dayforce, not the other way around. We had to provide the data for conversion to them, which is normal. What is not normal, is that they REQUIRED us to submit it in their formats. Days and days of work put into this, and even with the specifics mapped out for them, it was still WAY incorrect on the test site. Then there is testing - which they seem to do very little on their own. We had to test the data, submit it to them and they would get it partially right and call it a day. What problems is Dayforce solving and how is that benefiting you?

If you are with ADP, considering Dayforce to save money, stop. The extra you may be spending with ADP will make up for what you will be spending in your employee's overtime just trying to handle this monstrosity enough to get your employees paid. I cannot say I still have the peace of mind ADP gave me as far as compliance and reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
