We use CSI at our Recreation facility for many things, including member management/check-in, program registration, billing, and point of sale transactions. For these purposes, CSI is straightforward to use. Once a member is entered into the system, it is easy to navigate from one function to another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the must frustrating things about CSI is the inability to link the software to other tools we use, such as Mailchimp for email marketing or our app platform, Upace. CSI doesn't have an easy way to link to other platforms OR to directly send communications to members, especially when it comes to retention marketing. It would be nice to send targeted email/messages to members based on their engagement at the facility, but we have no streamlined way to do that without downloading huge spreadsheets and manually looking through data.
