What problems is Datature solving and how is that benefiting you?
We used Datature’s platform to build our container tracking system from scratch, and honestly, it was super solid man. We started by labeling container images from some test cameras at the ports. Their annotation tools made it a breeze to mark out the different container types, and we even did some processing with OCR tech to pull out the container ID numbers. The automated training was damn amazing—could test different model setups quickly without needing deep ML knowledge. The real-time metrics also helped us fine-tune the model's accuracy. Now, we’re testing to see if it can really power a solution that tracks container movements reliably and automatically updates our shipping management system. v good
We also checked out Datature to build our automated document processing system for shipping docs. IIRC, labeling different sections of shipping manifests and bills of lading was super easy thanks to their platform. The best part? The no-code interface, man—our ops team could join in on the labeling without any fuss. After a few rounds of training and testing, the model was nailing it, picking out key fields like vessel details, dates, and container numbers. The deployment options were straightforward, and imo, it’s something we could definitely consider integrating into our document workflow to save hours of manual data entry. Damn good imo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
