We like Datasite's ease of use. It has a lot of features but we like that we can publish data quickly and easily. We've used the customer support chat feature many times and find it helpful. Simplicity and efficency are most important to us and we are happy with Datasite here. Generally we don't need the more complex features but it is nice to know they are there as well. Modern interface is nice also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of our peers are familiar with other datarooms so it can take some time to get them up to speed on Datasite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The intuitive interface, robust security features, and ease of collaboration make it ideal for handling complex due diligence processes. The platform's organization tools, secure document sharing, and advanced tracking features ensure that everyone stays aligned and productive. Its high scalability and support for large data sets make it perfect for M&A transactions and corporate restructuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there’s nothing to dislike—it’s a premium solution that consistently delivers on performance and support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of navigation within the data room. I really like that you can see the folder path at the top of the screen and can click on those to go back if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one downside I see is when downloading from the "New" files section, you don't have an option to download a file with the folder path. It would make the experience significantly easier if I could download files without having to have multiple screens open to ensure I'm downloading the correct files. I believe that the user interface is what stands out the most for Datasite, making the experience on the platform, both as the one sharing information or for our customer being the one receiving the information, very streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The analytics side of things is an element of the platform I have been learning more recently, so I still have troubles at times manipulating the data and leveraging it to its full capability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Most helpful: support of the local brazilian team (sales, support). The platform is really easy to use and adjust in real time, both for me administrator as well as for operationals who realise the upload. The price is attractive and transparent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing in particular. Maybe an AI tool would help to accelerate our analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setting up and starting a VDR was easy and straight forward and if you need assistance there is support ready to help you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a bit of a learning curve on a couple of items but once you learn those little things (and save the response from support) you are off to the races. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Datasite Diligence™ for several deals, and it has been a crucial part of our process. The platform is intuitive, secure, and offers a range of features that streamline due diligence from start to finish. The document management system is robust, and the ability to control permissions and track user activity has added an extra layer of security and transparency to our transactions.
What I particularly appreciate is the user-friendly interface, which makes collaboration among team members and external parties much more efficient. The support team is also top-notch—responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist when needed.
Overall, Datasite Diligence™ has made the entire deal process smoother and more manageable. I would highly recommend it to any dealmaker looking for a reliable and efficient solution for their next transaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I’ve had a largely positive experience with Datasite Diligence™, one area that could use improvement is the initial learning curve. With so many powerful features, it can take some time for new users to become fully familiar with all the tools and functionality. However, once you’re accustomed to the platform, it becomes an invaluable resource for managing deals efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've used a number of dataroom platforms, and Datasite's virtual dataroom makes organizing and sorting a large volume of materials a breeze. The ability to quickly give permission for certain users to view materials is a plus. Datasite is easy to access and navigate. Overally, I highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no downsides in my book. I highly recommend Datasite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about using Datasite Diligence Virtual Data Room is the adaptability they offer depending on the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Something to criticize them for is that the support is not 100% in Spanish. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The supporting staff's response on Q&A and urgent adhoc enquiries are timely and usually very sufficient.
2. Relatively straightfoward user interface without unecessarily complicated and redundant features - not everyone wants to data analysis of user traffic, sometimes a straightforward user experience is more valueable in transaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Cannot restrict access to spreadsheets and Word docs once the user/downloader has been removed of access. The downloaded documents remain in the posession and full access to downloaders.
2. Cannot update in batch of "native download" opton. This is especially painful when lots of word docs are uploaded but need to make it "native" for downloaders to review and markup in MS Word format - has to click one by one for next 30 documents.
3. Cannot copy anything across different "projects" in the launchpad Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
