Top Rated DataGrip Alternatives

I can manage many database systems without the need for other software. It connects to MySQL, MariaDB, Mongo, Oracle, Redis, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Cockroach, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does not have a free tier, but it is worth the money if you use it every day. The Mongo integration is not super powerful, but good enough. Also, it may be a little slow to start. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Datagrip has a lot of cool and interesting features but the one I found the most exciting was data visualization. I found Datagrip to be by far the best tool to generate database diagrams.
Another very interesting feature is the visualization of results of Explain and Analyze which makes it very easy to see the troublesome parts of your query and consequently helps improving the query performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Generally there isn't much to dislike about the software however, since it is a paid tool, in the end it all comes down to weighing between free tool vs a couple of extra features. The extra features, in my opinion, however cool they are, are not worth spending the buck especially if writing queries is not your main job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The UI is absolutely easy to use and navigate
- It segments different queries into blocks in the same file to be run individually
- The AI tool has great auto-complete feature makes it really easy to write SQL Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much to dislike about DataGrip. One suggestion however, would be to make editor settings easily accessible to modify for the users. RIght now it is a bit difficult to find even the editor settings to make trivial changes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were using SQL Yog and switched to Datagrip. I like that I do not need to use Putty with Datagrip like I did with SQL Yog. I also like that Datagrip allows for multiple connections to various servers and dbs and schemas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the layout is very confusing at first and even though I have been using it for a few months it is still confusing at times. More options to customize the layout would be great, though maybe the option exists, but i cant find it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really enjoy the ease of using datagrip. I've found that it's ability to distinguish queries and present a clean interface are unbeat. I like to think of datagrip like Apple versus Samsung, with Apple presenting the cleaner, simpler product (Datagrip) versus Samsungs complex and powerful options, but ultimately confusing for the average user (competitors). I've found that datagrip lacks behind other competitors only in the speed they release new updates. For example, dBeaver offers rapid updates including things like AI modeling that are only half built out. On the other hand, Datagrip makes sure that everything is fully baked and tested before release, making for a easier and cleaner user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The SQL quick suggestions for table names and neat interface is the best part. Also on hovering over the table name, you can see the ddl. Its better than dbeaver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like how it doesn't automatically refresh the DDL of all the tables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Datagrip has a Userfriendly interface. It supports many databases like SQL, MYSQL etc. It helps in writing queries efficiently without having to download multiple databases in local machine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it crashes. But is not often. Other than that I didn't find anything to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's great Software to write queries and create databases and tables. The best part It's Using this we can work on multiple databases on a single platform. And In this, there are so many shortcuts are there to write a query, function, and procedure. And one of the best things is we can execute multiple select queries and show the results. Fetching the table and suggestions is not great and sometimes it's stuck so need to work on performance. and they have to need to work on the default query parameter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unlike other database IDES's, Data grip provides a world of features like debugging the SQL, auto-filling the queries and even version control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Data grip supports many famous database frameworks, yet it can also work on adding lesser known ones like Trino. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Completes your queries, shortcuts to navigate through tables are just amazing, Easy access to all your sql files/scripts. Sorting tables and crud operations are just clicks away, you dont even need to write queries, you can simply change them through UI and it automatically writes and runs the queries in the background. It also shows you what queries it is writing to execute your action. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Takes a lot of resources, ram consumption is just too much. Also when bulk deletion, it runs 1 query per row that gets deleted, so overall it runs 1000 queries to delete 1000 rows. Instead of running 1000 different queries, this task could have been completed in a single query. Running it 1000 times takes up too much resources and time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
