The learnings that they give is great. I use the system on a daily basis so i need something that's reliable. When i do email customer service they are always right on the job. **What do you dislike about Datacor ERP?** sometimes when they do update our address defaults to their address. I never know until I send out a statement. **What problems is Datacor ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** to keep our accounting books together and use only one system. ### 2. There are many different tabs that you can use to navigate the system easily. There is a help option with articles to help anytime you need help in any area in the ERP. **What do you dislike about Datacor ERP?** The ERP sometimes can run slow and freeze up. **What problems is Datacor ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** This helps our business to function and run efficiently. ### 3. It also has dashboards to show open orders and order statuses from inception to completion. **What do you dislike about Datacor ERP?** The system is extremely slow and the user interface appears that it was built in the dinosaur age and should be forced into extinction. The file repository is very user unfriendly because it requires a separate server and you cannot save files or reports to your local computer directly from the system. You cannot attach signed BOLs to the customer invoice emails without paying thousands of dollars to have the developers add the functionality. The system is very expensive and most requests require special expensive add-ons. The support team does not always respond to important and urgent emails. The accounting functions are far worse than quickbooks. For example, the Equity account type is literally nonexistent in Datacor ERP. If you ask support about it they say that Equity transactions are really Liabilities. **What problems is Datacor ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ERP helps us manage open customer orders and gives us visibility on their statuses. It also helps us to track product costing for mixed raw materials into component products. ### 4. It is very easy to get modifications done to suit the way you do business. **What do you dislike about Datacor ERP?** No complaints in this department, everything here works great. I never had any issue contacting Datacor if I encounter any difficulty on Chempax. **What problems is Datacor ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** For the most part it seems to help out with day to day operations of our company. ### 5. Easily download info into excel spreadsheets. Has a lot of potential, if they only knew how to harness it. **What do you dislike about Datacor ERP?** No documentation. Have been talking about their .Net version for years and still most functions not converted. .Net portals are not user friendly and lack some basic information. user support services are lacking. They need more employees with a user background rather than programming geeks. **What problems is Datacor ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** Replaced prior ERP system. Much easier downloading and inquiry capabilities than prior system. ### 6. A solid ERP system for Chemical Manufacturing companies but with very limited customization **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Chemicals | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2018 **What do you like best about Datacor ERP?** I like how Chempax is a Chemical Manufacturing specific ERP system that has solid batch entry for production, a solid general ledger build, and is user-friendly once you learn how to navigate where everything is located. **What do you dislike about Datacor ERP?** Chempax is very limited on what you can create yourself. For instance, Chempax does not have the ability to upload a file from a banking institution to record payments made. You can have Datacor create a customized capability, however, that is an additional cost. I also don't like the capabilities Chempax has in regards to budgeting. It does have budget capabilities but it is very basic capabilities. We have to use a different software to budget. **Recommendations to others considering Datacor ERP:** Chempax is a strong ERP system for Chemical Manufacturers that are not the likes of Dow Chemical. If you plan on growing as a company within the next 5 years, I do not believe Chempax will be able to grow with you. Chempax is very limited and the customization capabilities are difficult because Datacor has to be the one to complete the customization and it costs a significant amount of money to complete. **What problems is Datacor ERP solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving the our entire business with Chempax. It is our ERP system and is also the system we use for inventory management and customer service management.
