## Databox Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient Reporting but Needs Broader Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie O. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Databox?**

I like that Databox helps with sending automatic reports to clients, which means I don't have to manually send them. It saves us hundreds of hours per month. I also appreciate the ability to make changes to templates and then apply those changes to all of the clients, which makes innovation easy for us. The dashboard is great for monitoring all clients, and it alerts us when connections break, allowing us to manage multiple connection issues all in one view and ensure all reporting issues are addressed at the same time. I also found the initial setup to be easy.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

I wish there was a way to when you change the template it applies automatically to your current clients, that would save a ton of time. There's also some integrations that are not available currently with some platforms like BrightLocal and that is something we use a lot. More integrations, AI insights, and being able to make changes a bit more faster and easier for multiple accounts.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Databox as a one-stop shop for metrics across platforms and to send automatic reports, saving hundreds of hours monthly. It manages connection issues in one view, allowing us to innovate easily by applying template changes to all clients and monitoring them with dashboards.

  ### 2. A centralized dashboard system

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancy S. | Marketing Consultant, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Databox?**

All data sources in one place makes it easy to access critical business metrics . No more searching for data in different platforms like your CRM, Google Analytics, or shopping cart. It is easy to implement and report on business metrics with templates that reflect the data and integrations that I needed. Simple integration with a variety of the major platforms, ensures that you have one place to compare, link and report on the metrics for your business.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

While it has the major business integrations and connections, it needs more connections to work in certain industries.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creates one source for all marketing metrics.

  ### 3. Game-Changer for Reporting and Performance Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc W. | Managing Director, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox has transformed how we report both internally and to clients.

The AI summary feature is particularly impressive. It keeps our reports insightful and always up to date. There’s a great selection of built-in metrics, and creating custom ones is super easy.

The visualizations are clean, professional, and really help bring the data to life. Most importantly, the data reliability is rock-solid. Far better than what we experienced with other platforms. Highly recommend for any agency serious about performance reporting.

It also works well for being able to scan the most important metrics across all of your clients at once.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Nothing so far. Been very impressed with what we can do in the platform.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us with reporting clearly to clients, tracking performance across multiple clients and creating our own internal reports on business performance.

  ### 4. The biggest improvement we have implemented to client facing operations!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hugh D. | Account Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The simplicity to creating valuable data and reporting visualisations that make your clients eyes light up on every call. I now spend my life in databox using it all day every day and have brought in the wider team not just client facing ops. Gone are the days of 'death by powerpoint'.

The integrations and custom metrics are so simple to implement and go further than i thought possible. The support team is also brilliant so if you do get stuck they solve it almost straight away.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

the only small dislike is that the reports are not as flexible as Canva or traditional slides but i think thats down to my background in design and actually has its advantages in templating and consistency.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Client facing solutions, clear data visualisation, metric tracking and tracking notifications.

  ### 5. Data driven management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Carlos M. | Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox allowed us to simplify our reporting process. With the ability to get more granularity in our information we are able to visualize what is going on today and by developing the right metrics, with Databox visualization we are able to have predictability of the course of the business. It is a wonderful tool. This is all possible due to its simplicity and intuitive interface. On top of that its customer service is world class.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Nothing yet. Probably the only thing that I would like Databox to improve is the speed.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I track all the relevant indicators of my companies with databox. With this visualization I can anticipate things and put our teams to work on them earlier.

  ### 6. Awesome Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob V. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Pretty easy to follow your nose without prior experience with data

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Limitations on visual (maximum 100) needs more

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows for the business to see last periods and set targets

  ### 7. After 2 years I left. Templates always break, individual metrics always break, lack of good support.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guy M. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Databox?**

It's easy to embed a databoard into a third-party website or your own member portal.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Summary: We did a soft launch with 5 clients who actually had access to Databox databoards. It was a constant headache. Clients asking for databoard repairs because the metrics and temapltes provided by Databox were always broken. We tested for two years and left. I am not convinced they are even a real company at this point. Constant issues, they always play the victim, and they can take months to fix a critical issue.

Advice: try any other company first. Databox will waste your time and your money and give you a headache.

Review rant: After 2 years of trying, we were never able to fully launch Databox with our clients because there is always another issue with Databox. Their templates break, individual metrics stop working. Their support team blames the client but then when Databox is informed the broken metrics are included in the templates they made, then they act all confused and pass along the blame. Meanwhile days to months go by.

One issue with them took two months to fix. Meanwhile this was a huge issue that prevented me from even testing the platform with clients. The issue did not allow me to choose individual Facebook or Instagram accounts. Databox would by default pick the first IG or Facebook account on the list. So when trying to create a Databoard for a client, we were unable to do so until they fixed the issue. This took them almost two months. I emailed them about it like 10 times as well over the course of the month. Most emails were ignored.

Overall this is not a platform I would recommend to anyone.

Runaway from them and take them off your consideration list. Safe money and a headache.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They were supposed to solve my data communication needs, but Databox is constantly breaking so it solved nothing.

  ### 8. Databox is hands down the best visualization tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert R. | Marketing Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox makes it simple to interact with data in ways you never thought possible. I can easily sync it to my Google Analytics, Hubspot, Adwords, LinkedIn, and other tools to get a precise view of marketing attribution and follow the data to discover holes in strategy. I love this tool. It was easy to implement. I found myself using it weekly.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

The interface has a learning curve for new users, but once you adapt to the tool, it saves you a ton of time.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped bring all of my data platforms into one visualization. It also solved the issue of complex tools like PowerBi being, well, complicated! Databox makes it easy.

  ### 9. Great Adaptable Reporting for a Busy Marketing Agency

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan M. | Head of Marketing Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Very adaptable solution allowing you to report on almost anything you want as it has so many data sources. They also keep adding new functionality with Reports and Benchmarks recently added. These features will undoubtedly go on to be very, very useful once the 'Beta' phase is complete.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

I'm not sure what has happened with the customer support team at Databox but they are fairly unresponsive these days. Formerly they were the best out there, super-helpful and super-responsive (I'd know because the nature of my work means that I consult martech support teams on an almost daily basis) but currently sitting on a query I made 24 hours ago (the Intercom chat bot said 'a few hours') without any communication and this has been a familiar pattern over the last few months. I hope it's just a blip because it would be sad to think that the company are letting this slide.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Off-the-shelf reporting for standard marketing platforms and also a lot of not so standard platforms. Sharing reports is very, very easy.

  ### 10. The best tool for marketing teams with a broad tech stack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Ease of use, breadth of data sources, voluminous templates, very easy on the eyes and brain, and truly interactive/fresh data, including in Reports (which are live-dashboard-based presentations)

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Occasionally bugs and throughput issues/lag when editing custom metrics, but more than offset by their R&D into resolutions and new features.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to get all data sources into one reporting hub, where they can be contextualized and cross-calculated based on about anything you could dream up... without massive load times or errors that we'd learned to live with in PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker Studio

  ### 11. Good looking dashboards in matter of minutes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vikrant B. | Director of Digital and AI Customer experience, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The best part about databox is that I don't have to work on the raw data to prepare dashboards for my organization. Databox integrates with other softwares like QuickBooks Online or Sendgrid and pulls all the data, syncs, and prepares dashboards. It gives the option to either use their pre-built templates or one can custom-choose the metrics. Customer support is otherwise good and prompt. We use this to create dashboard for our customers to view metrices on daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

The pre-built templates are easy to use and implement however if any custom metrics needs to be created, it becomes a bit complex at times. They do provide 3 onboarding sessions but I am afraid as it would not cover all the uses of the software.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Default QuickBooks online does not provide an in-depth dashboard. To use data, we need to export in excel manually and then prepare pivot tables. Using Databox gives us an instant dashboard with in-depth analysis, which we sometimes tend to ignore. Now I have a dashboard that sync by itself. Another problem it solves is to share the dashboard with our clients with a user level access so that they dont see what they are not suppose to. It has saved us lot of time in creating dashboards by ourselves.

  ### 12. An Impressive tool for creating personal dashboards for website and social media metrics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Preetham M. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Databox?**

You can create very insightful reports and metrics with the help of databox and their templates

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

The goals section needs a lot of improvement when it's validated with your reports section. The intersection is not great

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you evaluate your social media and user journey analytics with C level executives, You need a very creative representation of data because of huge amounts of numbers. Databox helps me represent data better

  ### 13. They scammed me when getting me to update my credit card details

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Databox?**

It was a good system and easy to use. We had it connected to many different datasources. The team had been helpful in the past.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

they sent me an email as my subscription payment method was declined due to a new card. The link in the email presented me with a box to enter my credit card details which I entered the new one and entered it. Then about 5 minutes later I recived a bill for $6,900 Australian dollars for a year! I never had a yearly subscription and they changed it without my concent in a very misleading and infact fraudulent way, without showing me. I have since spent a week trying to get their billing team to reverse it but they have not and now I've spent 4 hours with my bank disputing the transaction. They obviously thought that getting the year in advance was worth me writing this review. They have now lost a customer who would have spent that over the next year anyway and beyond. Absolutly unscrupulous and dishonest.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Analytics from different data sources

  ### 14. Visualizations Everyone Can Get on Board With

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul B. | Digital Marketing Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox is an absolute must in my tech stack. After trying most dashboard software out there, I've seriously come to appreciate the ease of use, large number of integrations, and great support that this product offers.

As per the title, the visualizations that can be created using calculated and custom metrics are top-notch and make tracking KPIs a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

I would like to see a stronger forecasting feature as well as a 6sense integration (if possible) in the future.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Databox helps our growth marketing department tell a more complete story by combining analytics from the vast majority of our tech stack so we can track all of our KPIs from a single browser tab, eliminating the need for time-consuming Excel spreadsheets, data gaps, and sub-par visualizations.

  ### 15. Excellent visuals and ease of use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Collin G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Databox?**

We like the style of Databox. It doesn't look dated and has been very impressive to our clients. We also love the variety of data connections and ease of set-up.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

The data visualization options could use more customization options, particularly with text editing. It's great for basic live dashboards, but we struggle to use this for complete reports because it doesn't give us much of an option for complete analysis. The reports feature is on its way but is not there yet.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to display live dashboards and cleanly. This is by far the biggest strength of Databox.

  ### 16. Amazing datatool with even more amazing people!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matteo G. | Co-founder , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Databox?**

There are so many things I love about databox. First, it's very intuitive. You don't need to be a data expert. You can integrate data seamlessly from different resources. I have tried power BI, tableau, google data studio. And I prefer Databox.
Second, because they work on the cloud, you can easily share the databoards.
Last but not least, the people that work there are amazing! The sales rep, Vladimir, was excellent. Then, the support people like Tim, respond within a few seconds, and help you build databoards.

I don't know who runs this company. I know they are doing a great job.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

There's nothing I dislike about databox.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Make it easy to rework and visualize our data in one place.

  ### 17. Great Data Visualization Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox is great for connecting the metrics/data from multiple systems into one cohesive tool (and ultimately, dashboards + reports).

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

I do wish there were more default metrics, but we can get what we need through the custom metric creation, so a non-issue for our use case.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Databox helped us deepen our marketing analytics reporting - as HubSpot's default reporting settings/metrics left a lot to be desired.

  ### 18. Incredible Company!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brianne B. | account manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2022

The platform is absolutely incredible. It makes our work in the marketing field so much easier and our clients much happier!

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Nothing - I love databox! There is not a thing I would change.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The customer service team is incredible. I work with a man named Tim and he is so helpful with any questions I have! The platform is great for helping us visualize results and gauge ROI.

  ### 19. Great software keeps my digital business moving and growing!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camilo D. | Empreendedor Digital, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The most interesting thing about the Databox software is its flexibility, the general interface is very intuitive. There are several resources and tools you can use to configure your dashboards to meet your current needs and needs. Databox software offers a wide range of visualization options. The ability to create custom metrics is a very useful and amazing tool. We can modify the measurement display, with advanced data modeling capabilities, the software actually controls all the frames for me. As a marketing data analyst, I am very happy. It brings all our data together in one place We build live/interactive dashboards We define and monitor our performance against goals in making data accessible anywhere, on PC or mobile device, which allowed me to improve all my reports, setting it up is very simple I admire this software for its organization and structure.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

The software is limited to 3 panels in the free trial.
This can be improved in the databox software for beginners, I know that to get a lot of panels on my account I need a higher subscription, this makes the software value its features and tools being the best software in its category this influences a lot.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

we have the ability to integrate with multiple platforms with databox software you can configure and start using in a few minutes, ideal for small media and large companies to leverage results, inexperienced users will have great results with the software as it is very intuitive and easy to use, offers many great interface features, we have access to all important metrics in one place.
With just a few clicks we can change what we are seeing on our mobile or PC and share it with all our excellent co-workers, a 100% functional tool.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the software I managed to centralize all my reports, the user interface is clean and objective, Databox makes it very easy for me to understand trends and updates are practically in real time, it is a very accessible software for all professionals I started in a few minutes it is very easy I didn't need any prior knowledge of analytics or dashboards to begin with, this was very interesting.
I had already tested a lot of other software and didn't have the ease of use, flexibility, simplicity and customer support that I got from databox software is amazing customer support impressed me.
It has all the features we need, helps staff stay informed and connected.

  ### 20. Love databox for getting access for stakeholders to real-time updated info from every datasource

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsey R. | Content Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The support team is insanely good. Anything that I need they help me with, I'm always blown away. Also, there are built in integrations for everything, so I can usually deliver a great dashboard with a couple of clicks.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Nothing! I like everything about databox.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Databox is solving the problem of quickly visualizing random metrics on the fly for campaign managers using a wide variety of tools. We have several campaign managers in our team, and we don't want to pay for seats for our campaign managers for every single marketing tool in our stack. However, those campaign managers still need access to all of that data so they can learn and reiterate on their campaigns. Databox gets data out of our toolkit and onto a page so everyone in our team can see it regardless of access level.

  ### 21. Good product, great support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jannes O. | Data Scientist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The support is great, they are quick to help and they are very welcoming with tips and tricks.
The software itself looks good and there are some good functions that make it possible to give lots of data visualisation in a clear way.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Myself, I'm more of the coding type that is used to R Shiny or Python Dash. This is more click and drop and the metrics are calculated in a more non-coding manner. This comes down to preference

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

Have more options for data wrangling by adding Python or R consoles

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They worked on extra possible rows for SQL querries, much appreciated. Also they helped me set up the connection to the database, this was done in a very helpfull and quick manner.

  ### 22. Been using for 3 months and it's great!

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

I have a client who's performance is on WIX and there is not current API with them.

Available to help and assist at all times, and very kind and knowledgeable support.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

not much to mention - sometimes heavy load times but nothing too serious

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualizing the Data properly helps us make crucial decisions in marketing - and databox does it best.

  ### 24. great software for visualising stats

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

sometimes when creating metrics in the query builder its not so user friendly and one thing works and another thing won't when you have laid them out the exact same way

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

marketing performance reporting and is vastly better then the Hubspot reporting

  ### 25. Helpful reporting tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra M. | Marketing and Advertising Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox allows for a single dashboard from multiple data sources to outline reporting and analytics. I've used this tool to show the performance of inbound marketing campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

While using Databox, sometimes data sources don't stay connected and historical data can be lost. It is also somewhat difficult to create custom reporting since an external spreadsheet may be needed to calculate the data.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

I recommend meeting with Databox support on creating more complex reports since Databox is capable of doing more custom reporting.

Databox is a great tool for setting up reporting on specific marketing KPIs.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Databox helps to show an ROI for inbound and paid media campaigns for my clients. The interactive dashboards allow for anyone with the Databox link to make changes to specific timeframes. Databox reports are shared on a monthly basis and KPIs are tracked accordingly.

I work for an agency responsible for using, implementing, and optimizing Databox on behalf of my client organizations. I am responsible for creating monthly reporting for my clients. Here are some of the reporting I most commonly have implemented:

Website Performance = traffic by source, conversion rates

Contacts by Lifeycle stage = outlining qualified contacts based on leads, opportunities, etc.

Revenue = CRM data and information about the number of new deals, cost per deal, and closed won opportunities and revenue numbers

  ### 26. Really useful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael G. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Love how we can build boards to showcase data, track it over time, show comparisons, etc. So much easier to use than Google Data Studio. Also love the Slack notifications and scorecards. There were also a lot of problems early on with outages and integrations not working. But, these seem to have been resolved and not been seen again for many months now 💪

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

ChartMogul integration would be great, also a better Intercom integration that allows you to count people entering a segment. We rely too much on Zapier for a few things at the moment.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Showcasing and visualizing our data and reports, then sending these reports as updates into Slack and email. Means we (I) don't have to spend so much time aggregating data and reporting on it manually. Also tracking our success against company needs with the goals feature is great.

  ### 27. Easy to build user friendly Dashboard!!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anand J. | Program Manager, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

What I liked was the integration part where we can collect the data from various platforms and it has in-built templates which pull out the data easily. We can make a dashboard within a few minutes without any struggles.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Sometimes some formulas don't work as we work universally. i.e Timesheet doesn't calculate in hours or minutes we need to convert it into seconds after we have to make it to hours and minutes. Sometimes we have to play a long shot to make it worthy dashboard!!

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

I recommend because it's easy to use make dashboards and integrate with many other apps.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can show the dashboard in a board meetings with colorful dashboards and numbers and we also inbuilt in the websites, so all the visitors can see our achievements without struggling!!

  ### 28. 100% recommendable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik W. R. | Online Marketing Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Databox?**

I like the versatility of Databox very much. But what I like and appreciate the most is the Gold Standard help and support, I always received from helpful, understanding and friendly support team members.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

It's not that I disklike what I am about to write, but I would like to be able to see more training videos, more specific ones in order to learn to help myself, eventhough I really enjoy getting in touch with the support team.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me save time, when monitoring our digital marketing performance.

  ### 29. Databox, a simple data reporting tool.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox is very simple to set up and use. Furthermore, the connectors into databox were reliable.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Databox lacks the customisation and control that you get with other data visualtion platforms.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Databox solved the problem of manually reporting. Instead of manually getting data from the engine and putting it into a spreadsheet, you can put it into databox instead.

  ### 30. Get basic marketing reports in a modern style

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor H. | Revenue Operations Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The ability to embed the live version of the reports into Hubspot was fantastic. Clients really enjoyed the smooth look and the little bit of extra insight they got from the models.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

It is fairly difficult to do custom mapping within the platform. While there are plenty of premade reports, Databox may be pushing more for the added service aspect they offer to build reports for you.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

If you want a little it more customisation in reporting and arent ready to get a big ticket item such as Sisense, Qlik or Looker, this is a good place to begin.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Wanted deeper insights and better looking custom reports for clients across multiple channels and crm instances. We needed a way to better replicate reports that most of our customers needed.

  ### 31. Powerful yet intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David L. | Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

We're able to pull data from multiple sources into a single-page dashboard for our clients and our own business. Something we can't always do in other software packages (such as Marketing and CRM), so we rely on DataBox to give us all the metrics we need in a single view.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Sometimes, the setup of data sources and selection of the right data points/fields/metrics is complicated. Though this is less a DataBox issue and more relating to our experience with the many sources we have to draw data from.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a marketing consuntancy, we've struggled with an inability to get everything we need (from a data point of view) into a single dashboard that can support better decision making for our clients.

  ### 32. Your data in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox is a great platform to help put all your data in one place. From social media, websites, online advertising - it's amazing. My favorite part is the emails you can sign up to receive whenever you want to stay on top of your data.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

I can't think of anything I disliked about Databox. Overall, the process is easy to learn, easy to employment, and easy to share with others on your team/department.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Databox makes getting all my social media and website numbers in one place. I don't have to move through several tabs or websites to get my monthly stats, it's all in one place!

  ### 33. An Robust Highly Customizable Reporting Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox connects with a wide variety (and growing) list of data sources right out of the box, which makes aggregated data very convenient. Its UI is very user-friendly as well, providing simple, easy ways to build and edit templates and dashboards.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

I'd like to see more customization options for reports that are primarily text/annotations, and images/screenshots. The formatting capabilities are pretty limited for visualizations that aren't charts or graphs.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to build and manage reports for dozens of clients in one platform, as well as easily share dashboards with clients.

  ### 34. Win Time and Be Professional

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** João Paulo C. | MBA and University Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The look-in feel is the best; integrate with databases (a lot off) is very easy. But make decisions with data boards is the best. Our clients have another look at our services after implement Databox.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Price is so expensive, most in other countries, because of the exchange rate.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First, automatize reports daily, weekly, monthly, annually. Automatize to send to e-mail, slack, for clients and us. Automatize goals and alerts, if maybe will cant reach them. It's amazing.

  ### 35. An inconsistent, patchy system with bait-and-switch service

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Everything I saw before starting to use it. The potential for a service like this is very appealing. The reality, however, is something else.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

The service purports itself to be an easy solution for reporting and data analysis. The truth is that the setup and management or unstable, and difficult to set up. Many of the data sources are not set up for the data history that it carefully states as "up to" which means that you're sometimes getting weeks of data, which is technically "up to 11 months," but not practically usable.

Timely customer/tech support is non-existent. I've rarely gotten same-DAY service let alone live support.

When you are able to connect with a service person, I have found some to be evasive at best, defensive and argumentative at worst (due to then trying to support a service that doesn't offer much of the benefit they promote and the bait and switch service levels).

The bulk of features are in the top service tiers and the lower tiers are there to serve as bait for the bait and switch tactics (see note above about data sources). The pricing menu is missing key restrictions such as custom date ranges. If you want to find any true value from this service expect to pay for the business tier ($248/mo).

Even then, the data sources are not complete. There are missing data points and the data history is inconsistent from source to source.

My trial was frustrating but I thought I had it set up at a place where it would be usable for monthly reporting. I subscribed to the basic service and discovered the hidden restrictions and the lack of timely support caused me to present incomplete and inaccurate data at a month-end review.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

Put the trial through its paces. Make sure you check all your data sources for metric availability and data history. You could find yourself with a data source that inexplicably doesn't include a metric, or your historical data starts when you sign up for Databox, not for as long as you've used the data source.

Unless you are using their top tier, you will be missing a lot of functionality.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A quick way to collect and consistently visualize all of my different marketing data, and present it in an easy to understand way. It's easy to share and present the data, but getting there is not easy if you can get there at all.

  ### 36. Amazing data aggregation and visualization tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

I really like the number of integrations and type of visualizations databox offers for a majority of the tools we use. The customizations offered really help to pull and visualize all our data in one place

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

I did not find any cons while using Databox for our requirements

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

Although Databox is pretty much DIY feel free to reach out to their support team for any doubts while setting up your data. They're immensely helpful

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're trying to pull all our data from multippe sources and visualize it as per our requirements with Databox

  ### 37. Great for basic plug n play analytics dashboard

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander L. | Director, Digital Media and Analytics, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

I like that there is very little you need to do in terms of normalizing the data in advance. I also like that a number of common data sources are all included as part of your monthly/annual fee. This makes it easy to get started quickly and be able to show insights quickly in a beautiful UI.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

I found some of the controls to be a little wonky, as well as some of the limitations of getting the time periods for data to line up, which is as much the data sources variation as anything else. This was more as I got further into more custom metrics I wanted to show, so should not bother the user looking for an out of the box dashboard.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a way to bring in various analytics into a single place to share with clients. Clients liked the ability to see these metrics in one place and to be able to more fully discuss success and progress. While we did not have an ROI per se, we did provide a value add that made the clients more confident in their success with us.

  ### 38. Easy-to-use data collection software that makes it simple displaying data from many sources

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan G. | Content Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The best part about Databox is its streamlined presentation 'databoards' that are easy on the eyes and present the data in ways that clients and customers can understand without seemingly overwhelming.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

There's not much to dislike about it. It could use more integrations, but it does what it's designed to do and it does it well.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

If you need a way to aggregate data and to put that data into a presentable format, then Databox is your best choice. It's easy to use, simple to understand, and so easy to share with people who need to see the data.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to show clients/customers the fruit of our labor in simple ways. It's easy to attach a databoard to an email, video, blog, etc. to prove points with actual statistics pulled from many places.

  ### 39. So buggy I had to call an exterminator AND a total bait-and-switch. Don't be fooled by the gloss.

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The training videos were a good idea but poorly done, meaning the trainers were wooden and not engaging.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Every time I went to the dashboard, the link to my LinkedIn, Facebook, and other accounts were broken. Every time! Then, when I tried to cancel, the bait and switch. I am paying for another full year of crappy service. Here is the quote: "We can help you and your Team use Databox for the remaining time however, we can't offer refunds." Great customer service.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No one could really help with the disconnecting so it was just part of the routine of how I used the service.

  ### 40. has interactions with various applications that are very useful in the world of marketing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikaela M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

It has a large number of integrations with various applications that are quite useful in the world of digital marketing (facebook ads, google ads, salesforce, twitter ...) which is quite practical when requesting a report from or analytics operation of our strategies, in addition its interface has a fairly neat and clean design that allows me an uncomplicated navigation at all times, the fact that it has the mobile version for me has been quite useful and effective, since it allows me to have access to all the information I need from my phone, without worrying about where I am, the reports that it issues in my opinion are quite complete as far as information is concerned, they have been very useful to me to design and rethink strategies that allow a faster growth of my company's marketing.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

The only complaint I have in this regard is the fact that the reports are not customizable, that is, I am obliged to select a weekly or monthly report, I cannot select a range of dates of my interest to analyze.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has become my right hand to analyze the effectiveness of the strategies that I have proposed in my company in terms of digital marketing, which has allowed me to make modifications to my strategies if necessary.

  ### 41. Amazing software for everyone

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

I like how easy the software functions and how easy it makes my life. It is mainly effective for predicting performance in the future and take control. Also lets you take a free trial if you are unsure if the software is for you.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Occasionally software issues do take place making it difficult to use as well as the pricing can be a little expensive.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

Amazing software that can help take your business to the next level - takes time to integrate but it is worth the investment. Helps deicison making as well understanding the customer better through easy visualization of data. Also allows you to personalize the way you see data to suit you best.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Databox has been essential for analyzing what is going on in my business hence allowing me to take the correct steps to grow. It has helped with analyzing customer information which has helped decision making through good data visualization. It has also helped the marketing team to analyze the impact on social media which we can then analyze and control for future projects.

  ### 42. A Solid Visualization Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MaryAnn P. | Website Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Great looking dashboards that are customized for mobile as well as desktop.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Frequently I have a lag in data updates that leaves the boards in a "spinning" status.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ROI calculation, helps clients realize the value of their marketing programs that are brand vs. lead based.

  ### 43. Databox good tool easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

It contains easy-to-read control panels, which I really like about this feature, as it allows the user to transmit information efficiently and quickly, mentioning that it acquired in its programming, reports for their needs, whether daily, weekly, or monthly. This agrees to establish the news structure that best suits their main concerns, highlighting that it is the ease of access to the software platform with just a few clicks to connect to a large number of programs from different systems.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Databox needs to implement new updates of essential features, such as expanding its API connectors for existing connections, and at the same time extending a larger list of source providers. In other aspects, we can highlight that there is a lack of integration of various tools that are more used for digital marketing, which implies that the sales process complemented by this software can be somewhat slow and, finally, difficult to configure the system.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

Databox is ideal for digital marketing specialists of any level, as with this software you can grow and expand easily by adapting to your needs and sophistication. We can specify that this system is slightly geared towards small and medium-sized businesses, but it can also be more beneficial for larger companies, providing a greater amount of revenue, being highly recommended and even for the high-level reports it offers.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Databox is used in my company essentially as the dashboard tool for our analytical processing department, used to extract analyses from various data points and create a more fluid visualization. We use the tools both for our general summaries of any internal company topic and to create dashboards for clients as a way to easily report what is happening in the organization regarding the digital marketing efforts we generate.

  ### 44. Databox has revolutionised my department and company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis M M. | Site Manager/ Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The ability to access real time data concerning an individual employee in relation to departmental output. Am able to determine weak points in production.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Databox is just the best software I've used to track performance. It has been a huge leap from the manual job cards.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

Any progressive company requires databox, as I highlighted, manual job cards can be doctored to show higher production but with databox am now able to track performance and determine (KPIs) real time, this cutting administrative costs by reducing redundant employees and sections.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using databox my department and company used manual sheets or jobcards to track individual employee output. This made it hard to track actual employee's output versus reported output. With databox the integration of sectional output with individual employee performance has hugely reduced administrative costs.

  ### 45. Excellent and Beautiful, But....

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The design is very beautiful and versatile, it looks nice on all of my devices. Good Job Databox. Another thing I love about databox is its simplicity, it is simple, and without any unnecessary things, which makes it easier to operate.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

It is quite expensive, personally, I only use the basic plan, which is $50 per month. No complaints about the performance.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

Just try the free version first, and decide your next plan later. That's what I did that in the past.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Databox to observe and present my market research data. Databox assists me to do my assignment and I'm satisfied with it.

  ### 46. Data Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Military | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

IN my opinion Data box is better than most competitor software because it a great marketing tool that tracking digital and social media marketing performances. I like the UI interface along with it allowing user to connect many different multiple sources of data.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

The believe there are few issues with AI integration and the way trafficking data is reported month quarterly, semi monthly and every 12 months because it seem to be problem with the calender when reporting. The graphics could use a upgrade because it you to drag to zoom out and in using this software.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i was having problem with the data visualization and frankly I thought it be more high tech because of the component use in the software but their is a lot bugs to be work out of this software but overall it not bad software product but need to fix some issues like the text formatting for the data blocks or the dash board for accounts which need improvement to make this product sell better to businesses and companies.

  ### 47. The most beautiful reporting tool ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronak M. | Performance Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

The stunning visualizations is what makes this platform unique & brilliant.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Limited Databoards available. The number of Databoards available should be much higher.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

Get a subscription. It's worth it!

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My management loves the reports they receive. Good thing is that the snapshots get attached to the emails so they do not have to open any URL or an excel file to view the reports. The snapshot feature is truly brilliant.

  ### 48. Once place for everything

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sehie Olivia K. | Dental Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Best software to track your performance at a glance. Everything is collectively in one place for your organization

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Pricing is a little on the expensive side, for access to upgraded tools

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

Definitely a great software to check out, many features, beautiful esthetics

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Predictive analytics, sharing data, profitability analysis, problem/trend indicators

  ### 49. Great and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Glen K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2020

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox has some options when it comes to tools integration, this feature helps the user to do their tasks easier. The data sharing feature also helps me since I work with some workmates and do that a lot. I also think that the visualization is great.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

The price is quite pricey. Even though I think the performance is great, it is still expensive.

**Recommendations to others considering Databox:**

I have a great experience, maybe you also would.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, Databox is enough for me to analyze my market research data, the reporting tool is also good.

  ### 50. Great, Simple tools for small businesses.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rory B. | Director of Growth, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Databox?**

Databox is far easier to get to grips with than more complex enterprise tools such as Tableau or Looker, whilst offering more ETL capabilities out of the box compared to PowerBI or Google Data Studio. This means that you don't have to worry about managing data and bringing it all into one place with an additional tool.

For a small business where the data might flow from an engineering team to a marketing team without dedicated data resource in the middle, this makes Databox an excellent tool for dashboards and visualisation.

**What do you dislike about Databox?**

Some parts of it are slightly prone to bugs - sometimes number formatting can be difficult to understand, you're limited to the amount of data you can collect per query, so you have to work around this with their in-built calculation tools. Compared to more expensive competitors, there are less options for customisation and the BI options such as modelling, prediction and data discovery are limited.

**What problems is Databox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, as a general dashboarding tool for a small business, Databox is really quick to set up and start using and has great connectivity with other commonly-used startup tools.
