The most effective tool for posting and covering freight as a broker. For the most basic subscription, you can fully operate a brokerage and get access to information to cover and grow your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Data can be skewed by carriers and brokers posting bad loads to adjust average rates. Other than this, not much to complain about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Helps keep my rates consistent and correctly quoted. My customers have us ship prepaid more often that picking up themselves. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am satisfied with the product. Ease of use stands out among the rest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease and the amount of users on the platform makes it easy to find a truck fast Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly I can't think of many but if I had to come up with something i'd say the DAT scheduled maintenance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use it daily, I like its ability to get real-time data and also the ability to provide efficient and accurate price freight. It is also a Great Market Benchmark Tool. I like that it helps forecast future trends and make proactive decisions. It is also very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that can be an issue is the subscription model as it can be expensive for small companies. But I truly believe it is worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DAT IQ Tools enalbe me to provide a level of confidence regarding a client's performance to the market when it comes to transportation pricing. DAT IQ does that by having a very detailed approach and methodology that takes into account a lot of different factors that affect a transportation rate. If a client's freight has a characteristic that they feel drives their pricing, there is a great chance that the data is already captured in DAT and we can find the appropriate comparison for them. The willingness of the DAT team members to walk a customer through the data and why a benchmark looks the way it does and not just "wave away" variability, is also important. Knowing and being confident in the math behind the service is critical for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a number of different subscriptions and data sources in their offering. Aligning around the correct comparison for a particular situation is more difficult than it probably needs to be. I know DAT is streamlining this to better integrate the legacy Chainalytics benchmarking with the legacy DAT benchmarking. This will likely address this issue. The real time data and Spot vs Contact markets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only dislike is the lack of communication with our CSR. after we onboarded the new system we had zero check ins. The only training session we had we a session on looking at options we didn't have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DAT is a great tool to move freight. If you want to post your loads it is a great place for visibility. If you are looking for available trucks, it is the best place to find the best one for your freight. It will also help you define the best rates and negotiate. It will help you with making relationships with your customers and carriers with lane makers and will provide you with a lot of helpful information about this beautiful business. I consider it not a very intuitive tool. Sometimes there is information that I can't understand what it is for or what kind of information it gives me. Or, sometimes I feel it would be a good idea to include a user guide online or something like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to navigate, the most accurate and available loads no matter where I was traveling. It really was the only loadboard worth paying for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most of the loads posted on DAT are posted multiple times (as much as 30 times for the same load), this makes it very time consuming and annoying to say the least.
DAT claims to be helping to prevent fraud but fraud continues to run rampant with many load posters stating ‘email only’ and posting gmail addresses that have nothing to do with the original brokers email address. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DAT IQ is a great tool for the freight area, I think is most helpful about DAT is that it is a comprehensive platform that offers various features and tools for freight transportation and analytics. Some of the advantages are that the platform utilizes advanced data analytics to provide predictive freight market insights. It helps users anticipate future demand, identify potential capacity constraints, and optimize their operations accordingly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I do not like about DAT IQ is the fact that this platform has little customization, you cannot edit it and make it your own, it only feels generic sometimes. But there is no real problem when using DAT IQ even daily, and their customer support is top-notch, really good aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
