## Dashlane Password Manager Reviews
  ### 1. Straightforward, easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gary P. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane allows me to focus on work, not remembering passwords. I hate passwords, 2-steps, and other forms of modern-day torture. Dashlane has helped me keep our accounts secure, our systems in one piece, and my sanity.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I get a bit confused by the pop-ups asking whether or not I want a new password. I would relate to "keep the old one?" or some other phrase.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing recall of hundreds of passwords resulted in spreadsheets that became outdated as soon as they were created.

  ### 2. Does the basics exceptionally well across all platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Reduces the load on IT departments, especially when using services that do not have self service reset and management.

The ability to share passwords securely and to manage that sharing using a single pane of glass is invaluable.

The built in password generator helps users avoid the trope of same word + date and exclamation mark when signing up got the multitude sites and services that are ubiquitous is business life these days.

Integrates features such as 2FA and Passkeys without users being aware of the potential complexities of these systems.

Organisation held encryption key mitigating supply side attack should the Dashlane platform be compromised.

Reasonable scanning / recommendation tools which help users see a picture of their security posture which is easy to understand.

Dark web scanning can be an eye opener for some users (and has led to positive changes in many cases)

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Password generator makes passwords that are very hard to remember (and are therefore only really suitable for use with a plugin / copy paste technique) - Other systems exist which generate strong passwords which can memorised. In practice we adopt a blended approach, since the use of a generated password is not mandatory.

Plugin can be over eager. In fairness this can be tweaked in use but the default behaviour can result in users logging multiple accounts for the same service, or repeatedly overwriting accounts based on fuzzy matching.

Some fluff around the edges (VPN etc) which is not appropriate for our use case.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Originally ensuring that a team of colleagues were adopting good security practices with regards passwords.

  ### 3. Useful and convenient every day application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

With every single online site requiring a case sensitive password, it is so helpful to have them all stored on one easy access application. Huge time saver. Additionally, being able to securely share a password with an assistant or colleague is extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The only downside is that Dashlane doesn't help my brain memorize the seemingly million different passwords I have to use every day. I'd be lost without you.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing secure access to the programs needed to run my business. sharing sensitive passwords with staff so they are able to complete projects.

  ### 4. Dashlane does the job

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jared D. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane is easy to set up and very affordable for our team and the number of users we needed compared to other password managers

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane can be a bit glitchy and isn't very intuitive with it's browser extension.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a team of 10+ that need access to securely view lots of different passwords for the different systems and accounts we use. Dashlane allows us to have collections of different passwords that different departments can share securely with each other.

  ### 5. Peace of Mind

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine H. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

A great peace of mind knowing our passwords are protected for the company. A solution that not only provided safety and security for passwords but ability to assign and share accounts per department/employee. User friendly.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Still learning, however would like to better understand and manage user accounts when an employee leaves. It would be great if the account could be transitioned/assigned to a new employee who serves in that role.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily, the ability to safely secure our business accounts information for online access.

  ### 6. A password manager is an absolutely must-have in the modern world, and Dashlane is one of the best!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam H. | IT Manager and Network Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane has one of the most intuitive browser add-in GUI's of any password manager I've used.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It is difficult to re-add a former employee if they were disabled for an extended period of time, and they forgot their master password. There's no way to recover those previous passwords, and it's not even possible to reuse a primary email address, even using the Admin panel.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane is a game changer for password administration, and it's mostly solving the issue with users that constantly forget their passwords and constantly waste time performing password resets.

  ### 7. Easy to use and good Password Management tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert I. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Easy to use and save passwords, can be can set to autofill, multiple passwords for the same platform, saving cards and other text info that is used often.
Having access to VPN through the same subscription.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Find it hard to use on mobile, as I couldn't figure the autofill feature if it's available.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having one place to save all passwords, and only remembering one. It's loading fast and I can access easily.

  ### 8. Not perfect, but helpful!

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison R. | Executive Assistant Power User, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I do like how you can distinguish between a personal profile and a business profile. I also love that you can share passwords with other uses as well and can limit what gets shared.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I have to log into the master password EVERY SINGLE DAY, even after checking the box "keep me logged in for 14 days". Some days I am required to sign in multiple times. If this is a glitch on my end, would love support in understanding why this is happening.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storing all of the passwords required

**Official Response from Casey Morrissey:**

  ### 9. I thorughly Enjoy Dashlane

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephan Bloo R. | Office Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

My favorite function is the ability to share passwords throughout my company. It makes it easy and secure. Especially when it comes to sharing logins that for users who don't need access to sites but not admin access to thise specific logins.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I find the autofill and login funtions sometimes frustrating. There may be several accounts for one specific site and it will automatically login forcing me to logout and quickly put in the other login before it autofills and logs in for me.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing passwords securely across the company

  ### 10. Dashlane has been instrumental in quickly and easily transforming our password security

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Easy to: learn, group and share passwords, add/subtract/reassign users. Seamlessly works with smartphone to connect all devices (phone, watch, pc, television, etc.). User experience and interface is simple and easy to navigate. Price per user is very reasonable. Public and Private separation is beneficial for incentivizing use.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sometimes it does not catalog the correct log-in page. Sometimes on smartphone and computer, password does not auto populate.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We store large amounts of client passwords due to the nature of our work as consultants to local governments. Our previously practices were putting us and our clients at significant risk. Now, we have full ecryption and storage of passwords and a high degree of confidence that our security posture is greatly enhanced, serving both our needs and our clients interests.

  ### 11. Dashlane - a once powerful password manager

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Y.C. N. | Senior I.T. Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

A once great tool for consolidating passwords and sensitive information.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane has become a victim of its own success. It was so advanced in its day that the company has become complacent. It was once a stand-alone app but now is merely a browser extension.

It is clunky and has not kept up with the times. Using Dashlane has become bothersome.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer need to commit passwords to memory. Dashlane is available across all platforms (e.g. Windows, macOS, PCs, MACs, iPhones, Androids) and conveniently available to the user.

  ### 12. A must have for any corporate place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prateek J. | Group IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

As admin, I tell users, this is the only password you need to remember now, that is the best feature of dashlane.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sometimes, it confuses and saves incorrect creds, though this is very rare.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are ISO27001 compliant and are big on security. Adding another layer of security in today's age is a necessity. Our users had been asking for something similar to help them navigate the multiple platforms without having to worry about remembering co many creds.

  ### 13. Excellent way to share account access without compromising security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacy J. | Co-Founder and Managing Director, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I love using Dashlane to share account access with colleagues easily and securely. We use the Business Plan, and it's terrific!

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The Business Plan doesn't allow us to change the business domain. We rebranded a few years ago, but our team still has to use our old email addresses for logging in. You can't change your email address on the Business Plan.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to give team members and freelancers access to certain accounts without sharing the actual password. Makes working together much easier and secure.

  ### 14. Dashlane is a time saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiffin M. | Finance and Admin Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It is so helpful to have all of my passwords in one secure place. Only one password to remember. It is also great how the Dashlane pops up when you get to the user name and password section. It is also great how you can share information with others using Dashlane. I use it many times a day.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I cannot think of anything that I dislike.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me remember all of my passwords without worry about saving them individually and unsecurely on the computer itself.

  ### 15. Fantastic product, a little pricey

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny K. | Bookkeeper, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I use it every work day- it makes logging in much quicker, especially with having so many different unique passwords for so many accounts. It feels much more secure than using a "free" password manager. You can also make preferences like whether or not it auto-fills your username and password or if you have to do a 1-click "permission" for it to fill them etc. It was easy to set up and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

$90 for one person seems a little steep, especially when you are using for a company. Would be nice to have discounted packages.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More secure computer-specific and person-specific password manager. Makes logging in to all of my accounts quick and easy.

  ### 16. Great Password Management for Business Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Can easily update passwords that expire frequently without having to remember them. I simply have to login to Dashlane with my master password and it takes care of the rest, saving me time and frustration.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sometimes it's difficult to login on my phone, so I can't access my passwords as easily as on a desktop.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a billing manager at a law firm, our clients require us to submit invoices through various portals that are too many to keep track of. Often the passwords expire quickly and I constantly have to update them. Dashlane has been great at getting my accounts set up with new and secure passwords quickly.

  ### 17. lperez@lightbridgeacademy.com

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane is user-friendly, making it easy to store and share passwords securely. It offers strong security features and is also simple to administer.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I really can't think of a downside or something I dislike about Dashlane.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane provides us with a secure, centralized place to store all our passwords. Before using Dashlane, we relied on spreadsheets and other unsecured methods to manage our credentials. It’s also incredibly easy to use, allowing us to quickly retrieve passwords through its convenient browser extensions.

It saves me time and headaches when logging into many different tools and applications throughout my workday

  ### 19. Excellent for secure password management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kat C. | Executive Assistant to CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I like it firstly because I'm always forgetting passwords. Secondly, the fact that it alerts you to any compromised passwords. It also advises how many times you have reused a password, which is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The only issue I have is constantly having to log in to Dashlane where I used to be able to click a box to keep me logged in for 14 days. I can't do that anymore which is a little inconvenient at times.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping us abreast of compromised passwords

  ### 20. Massively secure with very little hassle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I have hundreds of very secure passwords that are recalled immediately with the click of a few buttons. One master password gets me access to everything I need to securely log in to most any site. And having to change a password is also super simple with the password generator.
The days of excel or one period for all accounts is in the past. Now I'm secure with every log in.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Occasionally there are forms that need to be completed for a particular site. Dashlane attempts to help in this process and usually does a very good job (e.g. names, addresses etc). But there are occasions where it attempts to help that aren't applicable. When that happens, stopping Dashlane from "assisting" is inconvenient.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to create and then continually update secure unique passwords is solved in a couple clicks with Dashlane.

  ### 21. Great resource

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim M. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane is a solid password manager that makes storing and accessing passwords easy. We use it on a daily basis, both on our computers and phones. The auto-fill and password generator are convenient, and the extra security features like dark web monitoring and a VPN are nice additions. It syncs well across devices, and sharing passwords with others is simple. Overall, it’s a good choice if you want a reliable and easy way to manage your passwords.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The only annoying thing is that auto-fill sometimes fills in fields I didn’t want it to.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dashlane is a safe way to store passwords. Our employees find it helpful because they only need to memorize one password to access all of their passwords.

  ### 22. Makes life easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley A. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I don't have to physically remember every password. Dashlane makes it super easy to access all my passwords whether on the app or on my web browser. Plus I love the password generator.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

If using in the browser, it can get a little annoying with trying to sign in automatically, when you may not need to sign in.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have several shared passwords that are shared between various employees. It makes it easy to remember and share those passwords.

  ### 23. This has profoundly improved our password management!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raylene D. | Computer and Network Support Specialist, Transportation/Trucking/Railroad, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The ease of use, password health monitoring, dark web monitoring and is easy to use for the most technically challenged end users.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Not really a dislike, but wish it could automatically prompt to save logins for Applications.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring complex passwords are being used and can be automatically populated. No need to remember.
Available in an App on mobile devices.
Secure Notes, addresses, payment methods, secure sharing of passwords... the list goes on!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron K. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The ease and simplicity of the user interface makes even our least computer savvy employees inherently more secure.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The master password has to be reused so many different times within a short period that it can make the user want to create a simplistic password that can be more easily typed in.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team went from Post-It notes on displays to a shareable link they could send a coworker.

  ### 26. Dashlane is still amazing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrina P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I have used Dashlane for Teams for 3 years. Dashlane has allowed me to share client information and passwords with my remote team in a way that is easy and simple to do. I recently shared my password with my virtual assistant. Intially she was unable to log in using Dashlane, and then I realized she had not installed the extension. After installation, she easily logged into the portal. I definitely recommend it whether you are an individual or a team.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I have multiple clients for whom I write grants. Each grant portal requires an email and password, but unfortunately grant funders often use the same portal system. After setting up passwords for this client, it became difficult to differentiate between the portals for different clients. I worked around this by creating usernames that correspond to the client and grant portal. Despite this difficulty, I definitely recommend it.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Confidentiality when saving and/or sharing passwords with others. This allows me to do so in a way that is safe for everyone involved. I would recommend it for any business who needs to share this information.

  ### 27. Very positive experience with Dashlane. It seems new, modern and, of course, secure.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

How easy it is to onboard new employees.
The shared center is something really useful for our teams.
The password health view is amazing for me as an admin. It's, again, very useful.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

One thing we've noticed is how difficult it is to reset a master password. While I understand it's more secure this way, sometimes it's just way easier if we, as admins, could just reset the password for our employees.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Dashlane as our main Password Manager. With it, we don't have to remember any other password, apart from the Master one, which gives us compliance with many certifications and most importantly, peace of mind.

  ### 28. Excellent software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stuart N. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I find Dashlane incredibly easy to use. It integrates very well on Chrome browser and across multiple users and devices. I dont often need customer support but any queries have been dealt with very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

There are no dislikes. We have used Dashlane for business for five years and are very happy with the product and service.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time, security, adoption

  ### 29. Extremely useful!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt B. | Systems Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It really did organize our password management for our teams. We solved many issues with written down passwords, problems with one person changing a password, but not updating it with other computers, and just general management of passwords.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

My biggest complaint would be the issues we have had off and on with the browser extension.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was always trying to share my passwords with my coworkers and keep them up to date when they change. Dashlane helped with that.

All of your passwords are all in one place.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I really like that everything is stored in one place and I don't have to remember anything but my master password.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Honest and truly the fact that the "keep me logged in for 14 days" box doesn't actually mean anything. Literally it seems to not matter if I click it or now. I just get kicked out whenever the extension sees fit.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

remembering passwords. this makes it much easier to manage multiple platforms of passwords.

  ### 32. Dashlane Power User - Love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

I love Dashlane’s strong security features, especially the zero-knowledge encryption and dark web monitoring. It makes me feel like my passwords are truly protected. The auto-fill and auto-login features are a lifesaver. I never have to fumble with passwords or reset them because I forgot. It’s super easy to use, even for someone who isn’t tech-savvy. The interface is clean, and organizing passwords is super imple.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane is great, but the pricing feels steep compared to other password managers that offer similar features. "The free plan is too limited, especially since it only allows one device. Other managers offer more for free. In terms of performance and day to day use, sometimes the auto-fill is inconsistent, and I have to manually copy and paste my passwords or information. Additionally, the browser extension can be buggy at times, and occasionally it won’t recognize login fields properly.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remembering passwords and deploying passwords to multiple users with ease.

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The team features are excellent. We use Dashlane daily to serve many clients. Having a way to organize our passwords and share them to the employees who need the access is critical. Dashlane's security and zero-knowledge architecture help me to feel comfortable with keeping our information safe.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Sharing individual items can become repetitive, but I would rather have to go through a repetitive process than inadvertently share a sensitive item, based on its categorization.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work with many clients and have credentials for many different systems. Keeping track of passwords in a secure way is difficult - Dashlane allows us to share more easily between people within the org.

That it stores all of my passwords in one place and they can be shared across our org.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

  ### 48. Mixed feelings, the good, the bad, the ugly from IT Admin

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronald G. | IT Admin /Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

When Dashlane works properly, it is a game changing tool. I will explain further in the dislike section.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane works best for individuals and employees that only need to monitor 1 email address. For example, 1 person only has to check their company email address and no others. Dashlane is going to work like a champ day in and out.

If the individual or employee has to monitor more than 1 email address. For example, Someone in a sales, customer service, marketing, billing, IT, etc. They are monitoring their employee email address and 1 ore more additional email addresses.

We log in using Google and SSO. When their is more than 1 email address in the mix, Dashlane will randomly stop working and the only way to make it work properly is to either turn the Chrome extension off, then back on or uninstall the extension and then reinstall it.

I have turned the extension off, then on, and uninstall/reinstall more than 100 times this year. Probably more than 300 times since we first signed up around 2 years ago. I remote in to the employees computers to fix their Dashlane not working properly.

Overall, from an IT Admin point of view that cares more about the overall success of the company that I work for, I would say that I would still purchase Dashlane.
You might be asking why. Well, Dashlane may have its issues but it adds a layer of encryption to all of the passwords. Passwords are NOT stored in the web browser. You are drastically reducing risk of credentials being stolen by Malware and that makes my frustration and ugly feelings all worth it.

You can think of Dashlane as a seatbelt. It is hard to find someone that loves them but we all want them because it reduces risk of death. Dashlane can potentially save a company millions of dollars. Every company has 1 or more employees that click on every link they get in an email. Not if, but when they click on a Malware accessible link, Dashlane protects credentials.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Please refer to the dislike. I put it all there.

  ### 49. Dashlane is super helpful

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

All my passwords are in the same place and it's easy to integrate it with Chrome.

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

It's a bit expensive, but when you have lots of passwords and accounts and you want to keep them safe and in one place, you realize it's worth the money.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have too many accounts that we must share with the entire team and Dashlane help us save a lot of time.

**What do you like best about Dashlane Password Manager?**

The automation afforded with the browser extension really helps keep things simple. Not only does it auto-fill for sites I've already been to, but can automate the process of resetting a password or setting up a new one!

**What do you dislike about Dashlane Password Manager?**

Dashlane has issues with some sites, especially ones with a third authentication field. That said, it is pretty easy to put into place a third entry, just a bit of manual work.

**What problems is Dashlane Password Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps keep our users safe. One of the main benefits is the dashboard which allows us to identify which users are reusing passwords.
