I love that you can graph virtually anything, including milk production data. I also really like all of the reports it can generate to help you breed cattle on time, monitor which cows to dry off, and keep track of calving dates. I LOVE that the program has much more capability of reports to manage animals on a long term basis (anything from culling to which sire you use most often). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that there is some random terms you have to learn. For instance, you have to learn that a cow who is dry is rc=6, which makes the learning curve a little bit harder than a competitor program like PC Dart which has drop down menus. I also think Dairy comp REALLY needs to work on making a standard health code for common diseases seen in transition cows to make monitoring disease incidence easier for herd nutritionists and vets.
