Cylindo builds the most realistic product renderings I've seen. We use Cylindo to showcase all of the furniture on our e-commerce webstite. We value the efficiencies Cylindo provides to help showcase our products online. We have thousands of products in the Cylindo platform and would really like to have self-service capabilities to manage the product attributes within the admin of the platform rather than submitting tickets to Cylindo to make changes or updates to data and attributes. They are always willing to work with you to get the product exactly how you'd like it. They will allow as many iterations as it takes to get everything right and up to your standards. When we first onboarded, we were not prepared for the change in how we communicate with 3D designers vs. standard photography. It creates a realistic, high-quality model of the furniture. The models render materials to show true colors and textures. Our customers can then see the furniture model from all sides, in AR in their space and also in a 3D space planner.

We have used it along side our in-house photography with tremendous results.

Working with Cylindo allows our company to reduce studio-shot product photography backlog as well as create a more engaging experience for our retailers and end consumers online. It's impossible to photograph our product with all covers and configurations and Cylindo allows us to showcase in a photo-realistic way what a product could look like before it's ever produced. This helps immensely in the decision making process. In addition, there are so many additional use cases for the Cylindo-produced 3D models - from AR to lifestyle photography, silo photography, spec sheets, ads, etc etc. A highly valuable product overall! When you have a highly configurable product, the licensing model is somewhat cost-prohibitive. When you plan or prioritize for this type of investment, and use a 80/20 approach, anything is possible. Also the speed at which models are produced could be improved but this is always being worked on and tweaked. Finally, if we want to use our models in videos or other scenarios, the files we are able to download are not final. Covers and finishes need to be reapplied as Cylindo will not provide final MAX files. This is usually fine when looking to create a single lifestyle image, but when looking to create an animated video for example showing the breath of a product line, this process becomes much more complex and expensive.
