High-Accuracy Data Discovery: The most common praise for Cyera is its ability to uncover “shadow data”—sensitive information (PII, PCI, secrets, etc.) that has drifted into unmanaged buckets or ended up in forgotten databases. In contrast, legacy tools (such as traditional DLPs) often depend on rigid regex patterns that can generate a large number of false positives. I really like the integration of datastores in Cyera. The datastore scanning and reporting structure are very well done. I spend most of my time on the Datastore section and Data in Cyera because it provides a complete inventory of all the datastores.
