What do you like best about Cyera?

Cyera provides excellent visibility into sensitive data and access risks, requiring very little setup. Its user-friendly interface and powerful automated discovery capabilities make it both easy to use and highly effective and customer support has been responsive and helpful when addressing questions or edges cases which helps accelerate value realization Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cyera?

Some of the new releases seem less polished, as I have noticed occasional minor glitches appearing after version updates. These issues often require additional follow-up or fixes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cyera solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cyera addresses the fundamental issue of not knowing where sensitive data is stored and who can access it, whether in the cloud or on-premises. Without this level of visibility, it becomes challenging to properly evaluate data risks or determine which remediation steps should take priority. overall, Cyera benefits me by saving time, improving data risk visibility and enabling proactive data protection making data security more manageable and operationally efficient Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Cyera?

High-Accuracy Data Discovery: The most common praise for Cyera is its ability to uncover “shadow data”—sensitive information (PII, PCI, secrets, etc.) that has drifted into unmanaged buckets or ended up in forgotten databases. In contrast, legacy tools (such as traditional DLPs) often depend on rigid regex patterns that can generate a large number of false positives. What do you dislike about Cyera?

Over-reliance on AI accuracy is a concern for me. No AI is perfect, and even though Cyera claims high accuracy, it can still produce false positives and false negatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cyera solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fast Time-to-Value: Because it’s agentless, you can see the “risk score” within 24 hours of connecting your AWS/Azure/GCP accounts.

Identity Context: It doesn’t just say, “here is a file”; it adds the missing context, like “here is a file that John from Marketing can access even though he shouldn’t.”
