The quality of the instructors is outstanding. The content is focused, actionable, and immediately applicable to real-world projects. Through its innovative and strategic approach to marketing, CXL equips marketing professionals with the tools they need to stand out and thrive in today’s competitive landscape.

The fact the courses are not in-depth hands-on practical basis which makes it sometimes too complex for a beginner trying to find his/her foot in the marketing space.

If you’re serious about upgrading your marketing, analytics, or CRO skills, CXL is definitely worth checking out.

 ### 6. CXL: The Ultimate Resource for Deep, Technical Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher Z. | Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about CXL?**

With two decades in my career, I rely on CXL for unparalleled, high-quality learning and insights. The content here is unmatched—expert-led, detailed, and focused on what truly matters. CXL features the industry’s best minds, like Simo Ahava, Andy Crestodina, Logan Bryant, Peep Laja, Fred Pike, and Neal Cole—professionals I admire and trust. This is exactly who I want to learn from. Unlike other courses that often feel padded with fluff, CXL dives straight into the technical details, delivering actionable knowledge that keeps me ahead in my field. Simply put, CXL sets the standard for professional education.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

First world problem: I can’t download the courses to binge on a flight. Seven hours in the air, and I could crush a ton of learning! C’mon, CXL, help me turn airplane mode into productivity mode!

 ### 7. Great and detailed information!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos S. | Technical Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2025

**What do you like best about CXL?**

All courses I've done are very detailed and easy to understand. The quizzes I took were also clear and, if you are attentive to the courses, they are easy to answer. On the other hand, customer support was great when I needed to download an older certification.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Some of the courses are outdated, but they are still required and available to pass mini-degrees. Not a big issue, as I was able to download the certifications after reaching out to customer support. But it worsts keeping it clear.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Is providing more knowledge outside my main role in the company so I can be more useful overall.

 ### 8. Brilliant platform for learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sandra A. | CRM executive , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

I’ve had an outstanding experience with the CXL platform, completing courses like A/B Testing Mastery, People & Psychology, Principles of Persuasive Design, and Cognitive Biases. The courses are incredibly in-depth and detailed, providing a wealth of knowledge that has greatly enriched my understanding of these topics.

One of the standout features of CXL is its course structure. The mix of text, video content, and abundant additional resources—such as TED Talks and reading materials—made learning both engaging and comprehensive. I especially appreciated the mini-tests between topics, which helped me solidify my knowledge as I progressed.

The platform’s design and presentation are excellent, making it a joy to use. I highly recommend CXL to anyone looking to upgrade their skills, whether for professional growth or personal development. I’ll definitely continue using CXL for future learning!

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

CXL could enhance the learning experience by incorporating more tests or quizzes between topics across all courses. While some courses included these (Psychology ones) ensuring consistent opportunities to check progress would further support knowledge retention and engagement.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CXL courses significantly enhanced my knowledge and skills in A/B testing and Digital Psychology, providing practical insights that I now apply daily in my marketing work, such as customer journey mapping, testing strategies, and email campaign creation.

 ### 9. If you want to take your marketing to the next level, this is for you

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damola O. | Digital Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

I genuinely love CXL and found their courses to be game-changers, especially the technical ones. Everything from SEO and analytics to brand strategy will give you an edge over your colleagues and get you ahead of the curve.

What I love most is their approach to creating well-rounded marketers. They're not just throwing random courses at you - they're helping professionals develop deep expertise in all marketing areas. It's definitely a must for anyone serious about growing their digital marketing skills.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Some of the courses don't get updated quickly, but I can understand why. The sheer number of courses means they probably always have their hands full updating.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CXL's focus on practical skills sets them apart. They're not just teaching marketing; they're helping professionals like me become more versatile, data-driven, and effective in a rapidly changing digital landscape. With the depth and quality of their courses, I can continuously upgrade my skills and stay competitive in the market.

 ### 10. Great course for both new and career professionals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2025

**What do you like best about CXL?**

- I like that there are plenty of video lessons
- Lesson slides are available to download and keep
- A very impressive amount of topics covered from introductory courses to advanced career professional topics
- I like that there are recommendations for best in class documents to start CRO programmes in your company
- I like the opportunity to pay by month

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

- Some of the documents mentioned in the lessons aren't directly provided via link/download so you have to manually create them yourself which feels a bit of duplication of work if they already exist somewhere
- There's a lot of content (which is great) however as a working professional it's likely to take me 6 months worth of subscription to complete. Can start getting pricey especially if you are self funding.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have learnt most of my CRO skills via on the job training, having a course that not only provides me with confidence that I am indeed following 'best in class' processes but also allows me to gain certification which can be added to my Linkedin is great.

 ### 11. Great Community Building Course

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2025

**What do you like best about CXL?**

The flexibility; the help from support in proposing courses, the time displayed for each course; the modularity, the extra resources, the transcript & handout available.
The teacher herself was very charismatic, and the course sctipt felt natural and very relevant. They referred to their experience a lot which made theory easier to put in practice

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

The catalog of courses is large, but the way they are displayed and the information on each course's learning objectives lack organization.
I was unaware I could pause my membership until it was too late, which was frustrating.
It would be better to be able to click on the link for downloadable resources and that it directly downloads on your computer; for me, I tried doing that, but it kept sending me to Google Drive or other links. Having it directly downloaded on my computer makes it easier to use and makes sure that I will have access to the resource and it is directly on my computer.
Additionally from my understanding you could do a skills assessment to know which courses might be the best fit for you - Although I think it is a great idea, I did not see it anywhere or was not nudge to take that step, which is a shame because I think it would've been valuable. So, great that they have it but not visible enough.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, it was defining what community really is and how we can elevate our community by going back to the basics. For me, it helped me have a clearer understanding of how I should think about Community; mindset switch.

 ### 12. A digital marketing platform for all digitial marketeers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angie T. | Marketing Growth & Analyst Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

I like the variety of courses on the platform that is catered to marketing needs. Each course/ program is segmented into digestable and practical content that I am able to apply to my work and also inspire me to look at topics in a different perspecitve.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

I am not a big fan of the interface. I like to Roadmap option but I would prefer if I could move the course more easily as if I would like to move them I will have to go through the roadmap planning from the beginning.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My problem at work was not having inspiration and ideas on how to add actionable value at work and CXL solves my need by developing new skills that are applicable at work. I have taken a few courses now and I see myself applying the new skills to work.

 ### 13. Growth marketing course that delivers results

**Reviewed by:** Joseph N. | Founder - Growth Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

CXL’s Growth Marketing Minidegree provides insights from the very best in the industry. The industry-leading experts add depth of practical, immediately-applicable strategies. They also provide real-world case studies, which greatly boosted my confidence and skills as a marketer.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Additional guidance on prioritizing the most impactful modules might help learners navigate better.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CXL helped me address key challenges in creating effective, data-driven growth strategies. It provided clear frameworks and methods for optimizing conversion rates, improving user engagement, and leveraging analytics.

 ### 14. I've learned new CRO techniques that helped me to boost my experiments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anatoliy P. | CRO manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about CXL?**

There are many high-quality courses about CRO, marketing, and growing products from top experts. They are very affordable and awesome value for money. Even if you're an experienced specialist, you can still find various courses to master your expertise and dive deeper into specific topics.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

I would add more practical tasks, such as AI checking and short questionnaires, after each lesson to improve material learning.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improves my technical skills in CRO. Help me to be competitive in a job market and to increase my salary.

 ### 15. CXL - Best marketing courses!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damian G. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2025

**What do you like best about CXL?**

As a Digital Marketing Manager who has completed courses at CXL, what I like best about CXL is its depth, practicality, and expert-led approach. Unlike many other online courses that just scratch the surface, CXL dives deep into advanced marketing strategies with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Overall, CXL isn’t just another online course platform; it’s an investment in becoming a top 1% marketer. That's why it is expensive :(

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CXL is solving one of the biggest challenges in digital marketing: the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. Many marketers struggle to find high-quality, advanced training that goes beyond the basics. CXL addresses this by offering deep-dive, expert-led courses that focus on practical, data-driven skills needed to drive real business results.

 ### 16. Hands-on courses given by industry experts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marta B. | Global Product Owner - Confirmed app, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

I've been taking the CRO Mini Degree course from CXL.com and overall, it's been a positive experience. The course is very hands-on, which is great for those who prefer practical learning. There's a wealth of material available, covering a broad range of topics relevant to conversion rate optimization. The numerous examples from real businesses are particularly helpful, as they provide concrete illustrations of the concepts being taught. Also, the website is easy to naviagate. And I do like the fact that you can clearly see how much material you have covered.

Despite these minor issues, the course is a valuable resource for anyone looking to deepen their expertise in CRO. I am still in the process of taking the mini-degree, so not able to fully evaluate it yet.

Right now, I have been using the cxl.com on a daily base, as I have been trying to finalize the course and get the skills needed for my new CRO role. (I have transitioned from product)

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

I do have a couple of critiques. At times, the course could benefit from being more interactive. More opportunities for engagement would enhance the learning experience. Additionally, some of the quiz questions are quite easy and don't thoroughly test your understanding of the material. A bit more rigor in this area would ensure that the quizzes better reflect the depth of knowledge required.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

upskillings.
getting CRO knowldge needed for my new function

 ### 17. Expert-Led, Actionable CRO Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** tbk C. | Director of User Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

I’ve recently been going through the CXL Conversion Optimization minidegree, and I’ve been impressed with the level of detail and expertise. The instructors are clearly very experienced, and the video courses are not only high-quality but packed with practical frameworks you can apply immediately. The whole platform is very user-friendly and the video transcripts are defintely a bonus for students who like to read written content (like me).

The course structure flows naturally, starting with broader concepts and theory before guiding you through specific, actionable steps. This really helps with comprehension and ensures that you’re able to connect the dots between learning and implementation.

One thing that stands out is how the experts share real-world insights from their own projects, which helps in understanding how to handle unique or complex situations. I've already applied some of the lessons on A/B experimentation in my current role and am looking forward to diving deeper into the course. If you’re serious about conversion optimization, this program is a great investment.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

I would find interactive quizzes after each module helpful

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CXL is helping me bridge the gap between traditional user experience design and a more thoughtful, data-driven approach. I wanted to move beyond intuition and learn how to make decisions rooted in data, and the course is giving me exactly that. By learning directly from industry leaders, I’m gaining insight into best practices that have been proven in real-world situations. This combination of theory and practical application is allowing me to elevate my work and approach projects with a more strategic mindset.

 ### 18. Tried other online courses in the past, but CXL surpassed them by a mile!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rokas K. | ux/ui designer transitioning to CRO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2025

**What do you like best about CXL?**

High‑quality, practical content delivered by truly competent specialists

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

I don’t really dislike anything - though the price is higher than platforms like Udemy or Coursera.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a UX/UI designer pivoting into CRO, CXL’s courses packed me with data‑driven ideas, techniques, and real‑world examples for tackling optimization challenges.

 ### 19. Excellent In Depth Training for CRO

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lol L. | Paid Search Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

The variety and depth of courses around specific subjects (in my case conversion optimisation) is unparallelled.

I like that you learn stuff that is immediately actionable. I've been able to apply learnings to a number of clients with really effective results. Improving my campaign results (I'm primarily a paid search consultant) but also the clients overall website results.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

I originally started the CRO Mini Degree, but the language used on a couple of the courses was so complex, I found it difficult to understand some of the concepts they were teaching (I don't really expect to have to sit and look up word definitions when watching a course & English is my first language!) I've given up the idea of the mini degree and just pick and choose the courses I think will be most beneficial and applicable to my clients.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CXL is helping me understand why my clients websites aren't converting as well as they could and what I need to do to help them improved the situation. The benefits are: it makes me look good to my clients, I have more skills to offer potential new clients, my Paid Search campaigns have better results, my clients are happy and stay with me longer

 ### 20. CXL is a Career Development Game Changer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luiza T. | Performance Marketing Manager , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about CXL?**

In-depth content with an incredible didactic approach that makes it easy to understand how to implement the knowledge you've acquired in practice. + The platform offers an extended and highly up to date diversity of topics that correspond to all the specializations highly sought after by the market.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

So far I have no complaints about the platform.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform offers me all the most sought-after specializations and expertise updates on the market, making it a great ally in my career journey.

 ### 21. Great Resource for Digital Marketers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robynn F. | Lead Generation Content Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

Unlike any other course I’ve taken - love the conversational feel! CXL has a wide variety of resources and digital marketing courses to explore and is great for those looking to expand and deepen their skills. Very engaging!

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Would love more content on how to incorporate AI effectively in marketing strategies

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I recently completed "Bottom-of-funnel SEO strategies in tough niches" by Gaetabo DiNardi. I found it super engaging - reminded me that we all start somewhere and inspired me to want to keep upskilling.

Gaetano gave some great insights on B2B SEO challenges and possible solutions based on experience and case studies (particularly SaaS). Gaetano really gets to the meat of it by lesson 3, delving into techniques like “BBQ content,” “Ranch SEO,” and more, providing practical ways to use them. Each lesson is about 20-30 minutes long, (with the exception of the FAQ part of the interview) making it easily digestible, especially if you have a busy schedule.

It's given me a lot to think about and I’m keen to start incorporating these insights and techniques into my own content marketing strategies - highly recommend this course if you’re interested in flipping your marketing strategy on its head and thinking outside of the box! Can't wait to start my next course

 ### 22. "Amazing, easy to understand. Clarity in concepts and explanation"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** AdriánKey L. | Digital Analytics Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

Easy to use and understand. It has been very pleasant to find a course platform where the most important aspects of the experience and concepts are condensed. Although I am familiar with the concepts, I have managed to understand them from other angles, enriching my knowledge and its application. It is not only about the business itself, but also the separation of the actors involved in the different stages of the CRO, necessary for the selection of teams and faster decision making. I'm going to spend a lot of time learning on the platform, maybe 5 days per week. Support was very quickly after the purchase. Thank you.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Maybe the lack of languages in the subtitles. Although I understand and speak English, my native language is Spanish.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had some misconceptions that have now become very clear to me. Now that I understand them I can go to clients and show a broader spectrum of what should and should not be done.

 ### 23. CXL gives you one of the best courses!

Sometimes when you are listening to 1.5x speed the audio and video doesn't sync

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it is helping to be a marketer at the best industry standard

 ### 24. Awesome. Gained a lot of value. The course instructors are exceptionally good.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2025

**What do you like best about CXL?**

I love the idea of CXL instructors breaking complex subjects

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Nothing. All excellent. The attention to detail by the instructors was amazing.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CXL is solving the skill gap problem amongst marketing professionals. Considering these programs are taught by the top 1%, this solved the problem for me.

 ### 25. I Wish Every Field Had a Learning Hub Like CXL

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** HAYYAN Q. | Growth Marketing & CRO Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2024

**Reviewed by:** Michael E. | Content Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

I've desired access to CXL for about a year. Of the many features, what stands out most are the illustrative examples with which tutors buttress a point, a lesson, a perspective, or an example. Makes the lesson sticky, which it's an important element of great content.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Nothing. However, I wish it was easier to navigate the custom creation of learning journeys, so I could just log in and pick up from where I stopped every time.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CXL is simplifying the learning curve and I think that's helpful for all marketers, and all users.

The speakers' expertise is top-notch, the presentation of the material is clear and well thought out. The platform is simple, it's easy to find what you need.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

The quality of video and audio is sometimes lower than expected. In my course, some materials that the speaker talked about were missing from the disk, were removed.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Courses help to broaden your horizons, provide specific knowledge that is lacking in daily work or for professional growth. They can also help to change the field of activity or expand functionality.

I love the simplicity of their lecture delivery. The workbooks and template provided is a real deal.

Some courses are not too structured, so there are tendencies that you may be jumping courses in a mini degree. They aren't placed or listed sequentially for newbies to follow.

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

The best thing about cxl is that it gave me a lot of frameworks that can be used in my marketing career. I took the growth marketing program to see what all the rage was, i wish i had more time to finish the entire course. I would like a flash card system to for quizing on various subject.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

The content primarily focuses on marketing saas product marketing which doesn't encompass FMCG marketing all that much. But if you are looking for a career is saas then cxl is perfect.

My only problem with cxl is that it little to expensive for a person from a developing country like kerala, india at 30,000 rupees for a quater.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am a person who didn't have a lot of formal training in marketing. CXL has given me a lot of frameworks for a data-driven marketing approach. As a person who believes that systems and people go hand in hand in achieving our goal, cxl has given me a deep dive into possible systems that can be used in my career.

Hands down, this was the best course I've ever taken on CRO. The mentors aren't just knowledgeable—they have years of hands-on experience in the exact strategies they teach. The material is intense, but in the best way possible.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Some courses in the minidegree program are a bit too technical for me, and I’m not quite at the level where I can fully appreciate that level of detail.

CXL offers the best quality education especially in the field of analytics, CRO, and growth. It helps me really get to know the industry's ins and outs.

I like that the course descriptions are very clear, making it easy for me to decide which courses I want to do. I don't have time to complete a mini degree, but I'm enjoying using it to help me decide what order to complete the courses in. So far, I have particularly enjoyed the Heuristic Evaluation and Landing Page Optimisation courses; the content was really interesting and the tutors were very engaging.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

I wish that the course descriptions were a bit clearer about what level they were for, especially how beginner-friendly they are, maybe if other courses are recommended to complete first.
It's also quite expensive.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to learn more about CRO and build my skills in this area to complement my job role in SEO.

I'm growing my skills massively. I began sometimein April and by July I landed a great job with a Canada-based fintech.

 ### 47. Super great learning experience

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

I particularly love the marketing analytics courses for being well structured and actionable.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

I would have loved that they were downloadable even if the downloadable ones will be hosted on its platform. Just so one can access it at any point in time but with the current setup, it means one would have to subscribe each time you feel you need to do a refresher on a topic after your subscription has ended

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Skill gap

 ### 48. There are many options to keep learing and all the couches are impressive

The comprehensible classes provide clear and simple lessons, helping learners easily understand important ideas, stay interested, remember what they learn, and use it in real-life situations.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

Cant ask questions or get tutors to reply

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CXL learning platform solves the problem of hard-to-understand lessons by making them clear and simple. It helped me build trust, grow my audience, earn money, and made me a trusted authority in my workplace.

 ### 50. Great hub to enrich your online marketing knowledge

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sander v. | E-commerce manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2024

**What do you like best about CXL?**

My specific need was to get a more T-shaped profile and I succeeded. CXL brings together the knowledge of the very best marketers in the market with knowledge sharing. There are many courses of high quality from beginner to expert, allowing everyone to learn. Regardless of your level, you can always improve content or go broader in terms of knowledge. The courses are updated regularly, as the tooling & market changes quickly. In my search for the best courses, I found CXL the standard in the market on resumes and in the industry.

I love the idea of a Netflix for online marketing and I have followed many courses in the field of GA4/analytics, CRO and SEO. It's definitely worth the money.

**What do you dislike about CXL?**

It's great but there are a few small things. It's not possible to watch offline (doh) and there are situations (airplane, highspeed train) where that would come in handy. The other very small thing is that it's cumbersome to save/favorite courses in your profile.

**What problems is CXL solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowledge gap. After the courses I have a very good level and skill set. In the end it helps the company with the growth.
