It is complicated and hard to learn- basically having to learn a whole new language in order to actually use the site, and then there are still challenges with figuring out how to get what you want. They are extremely limited on design options which I do not like at all. The registration page is limited to a basic design and there are limitations to fonts, backgrounds... it's not easy to make a modern, high quality, creative looking page. We use it for almost every single event, and it's important to us that the registration process is easy for all of our attendees. Cvent helps us accomplish that goal and host flawless events. Another huge plus for us is that we can solicit feedback from attendees after the event by creating and sending a simple survey. I love the fact that you can measure participation and gather survey results and then send out targeted data tagged emails with linked payment confirmation, invoice or certificate/badges. But the cert builder is so clunky. We also use their On Arrival solution to allow attendees to check-in, edit their names, and print their badges. It worked really well and our registration has never run smoother. We were able to check-in 200 attendees in the time it used to take us to check-in 40-50. The conference app also integrates with the registration platform and has some handy features. We've been very satisfied with Cvent. **What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?** The platform is very robust, so it does take some time to learn it, figure out what reports you need, and to develop registration pages with different paths for attendees, vendors, speakers, etc. Customer service has been great though and they usually can solve the issue you are having in short order. **Recommendations to others considering Cvent Event Marketing & Management:** Shop around and compare, but our experience with Cvent has been excellent.
