The platform is fundamentally crippled by a glaring omission of basic, essential features, making it practically unusable. The single biggest flaw is the complete inability to search for a candidate by name or email—a core function for any job board. With over 1,800 applicants, we were told this was an "advanced" feature locked behind a paywall, rendering the free plan useless. This frustration is compounded by rigid and inefficient workflows; for example, it's impossible to take any action on a candidate, even in bulk, without first manually shortlisting them, which creates a administrative bottleneck. When you inevitably run into these issues, getting help is an ordeal. The support is dreadful. 1 chat in 25 has actually been answered by a human. Most attempts to get help trap you with a chatbot that repeatedly asks for contact information you've already provided before a human ever intervenes.

There are several aspects of Cutshort that I particularly like but here are my top four favourite :

Customizable Filters: The platform offers customizable filters that help us narrow down the candidate pool quickly. We can set specific criteria, such as location, experience level, and skills, to find candidates who closely match our requirements -  It make our life quite easy with such feature;p

Archiving Closed Positions: Currently, when a position is closed, it remains in the same dashboard, which can clutter the workspace.
It would be helpful to have a separate archive section where closed jobs can be organized for easier navigation and decluttering.

The Best part I found is FILTERS; the product has relevant filters that overcome my burden and save time in targeting the apt candidate for the position.
Also, I like the outreach feature and Grammer correction feature of Cutshort.

I think there is a question mark for non-IT positions on using Cutshort.

No, the Support team tries to resolve all the issues, and sometimes they do it themselves from the backend.

I think re-posting the job again after a few months of the gap to attract talent. There should be a feature to re-post the job automatically and ask the users if any update is required to add or delete from the JD instead of posting the whole job again.

Cutshort has been our go-to platform for hiring tech talent. It helped us in finding relevant candidates without wasting time. The interface is also very user-friendly, which makes it stand out from the competitors.

The talent pool for non-tech hiring could be improved a bit. There are candidates but the volume and relevancy are comparatively less in number. Ideally, as a recruiter, we would love to find a platform that equally serves both tech and non-tech needs.

More than 60% of the closures were through Cutshort.

With latest updates only 30 page views allowed for free accounts. Worst part is that due to this we cannot even reply the people who are applying with us, making candidates more anxious whether we are interested or not interested in them. Creates super bad impression of the company we represent forcing us to explore other options.

Instead of downloading a profile randomly, Cutshort has enabled resume screening before downloading. 

It is easy for a recruiter to do the screening, evaluate and then download the profiles.

The turnaround time of Cutshort is really fast. Most of our requirements have been fulfilled with just monthly subscriptions as we don't hire throughout the year. I really like their matching algorithm as it gives you an exact percentage of how a candidate is matched with your role. I also like how easily I can discover some really good developers, see their tech assessment reports, engage with them and close my roles super fast.

There's nothing I dislike about Cutshort but definitely there are scope of improvements in any tool. Having a mobile app will actually help a lot and sometimes I also feel their pricing is on a higher side but I can't complain much as the ROI is really good.

Have used Cutshort in my first startup and liked their solution. What do I like the best about Cutshort? hmmm, I would say the following things were quite good about Cutshort:
1. Quality of tech talent pool.
2. I was not able to find many candidates who were present on Cutshort anywhere else. So, yeah, Cutshort does not just have quality candidates but they are also unique to Cutshort.
3. I like the audio screening a lot. It gives me insights into the communication skills of the candidate without even talking to them.
4. I liked the UX. Cutshort is made for anyone I guess. As a founder, I find hiring solutions to be very complex but Cutshort was nothing like any of that. It felt as if it understand my needs and I was able to navigate their tool very easily.

**What do you dislike about Cutshort?**

There are not many things that I can remember I disliked about Cutshort but I remember they didn't have any integration with Workday HCM which we were using at that time. Also, I understand their focus is tech talent but a product like Cutshort can really help us with our non-tech hiring as well.

The essence of a good recruitment platform are three important things - 1) Quality of Candidates, 2) A Good User Experience, and 3)  Good filtration criteria for shortlisting candidates and automating the hiring process. And Cutshort ticks all the above criteria. And to back it up Cutshort has excellent customer service where empathy and a client-first approach are ingrained into their value system.

Nothing much to dislike as of now. I feel what is needed is a mobile application for HR/Admin to keep track of applications along with the web app.

We use other tools as well but where Cutshort shines is in the aspect of the quality of resumes. The top of the funnel is super-curated and so the whole process goes fast (right resumes > candidates > quicker hires). 

I like that they focus on tech hiring, the scoring mechanism to match candidates to a profile works (usually I am skeptical about AI claims).

Not a problem per se but if a mobile-centric notification/app play can be introduced, the team can be more productive.

We've been using Cutshort for over a year now and it has been the single largest source of our tech talent by some margin! In addition, the software tooling they've built allows for a tremendous amount of automation and filtering. The built in tooling for screening automation is fantastic. As a founder initially doing the talent sourcing myself, it was immensely valuable. Now, our talent acquisition team loves it too.

They also have very good customer service and fantastic onboarding.

Not much to dislike about cutshort! We would have been far less successful as a company if we weren't using cutshort.

Cutshort is an application and website for finding jobs

1. Talent card concept is a very nice concept. User need to provide some information to prepare talent card. After creating talent card job algorithm will find match job based on criteria mentioned on your talent card.

2. Respond within commitment :  I would like to thank cutshort team to ask for commitment from recruiter team also. Yes, every job post has some time period mentioned to expect reply within. And you will get reply from job poster or recruiter within mentioned time.

3. UI is nice as compare to other job applications

**What do you dislike about Cutshort?**

1. Cutshort application do not have option to search job. It will provide you a job list which is prepared from your talent card. 

If user wants to do search manually then he need to finds where to search. If user had created talent card. same algorithm will apply on same talent card so user will find often same job search result.

So user need to take control of which job he/she recently viewed,while applied flag is managed by them

Cutshort is really a SHORTCUT to find better jobs. It will take commitment from recruiters to acknowledge applicant with status of their job application. So you do not need to wait for confirmation untill one month.

As cutshort is job finding application I am using it for job search. I heard about it from one of my friend. He got job in another state from this portal. so he suggested me to use cutshort and really it is an application in which you will expect answer from recruiter other than that applicant can't expect reply from recruiter.
