What do you like best about Customer Thermometer?

1. Simplicity - you ask the customer 1 question and all they need to do is to click one of the 4 ratings but can also leave optional feedback if required. You can set the Thermometer to send an email notification as soon as the customer clicks on a rating, you then know how your customer feels instantly and can address any dissatisfaction in real-time

2. Ease of use - creating Thermometers is quick and easy with many customisable features. Sending the thermometers is also easy. You can create many different Thermometers depending on the transaction or event you are seeking feedback on and also have the ability to archive and retrieve archived Thermometers which makes managing your programmes a breeze

3. Support - the Ministry of Magic are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Any question i asked was answered quickly with full details and directions, often giving options that i hadn't considered

4. Reporting - the graphical dashboards on view are amazing and all update in real-time. There is no need to spend time creating graphical reports as these can easily be snipped and used in presentations and the like. The reporting tools and charts also help massively with analysis and counter-measures

5. Flexibility - everything in this tool is flexible and customisable, you can even add tags to your email body that includes specific details of the event or transaction to further personalise the email. The more details you can give to the customer, the less vague any feedback will be and the easier it becomes to resolve any issues. You can create a Thermometer and upload a list of contacts and transaction/event data and send in bulk or you can add the Thermometer icons and hyperlinks to your own email signature and ask for your own personal feedback. What do you dislike about Customer Thermometer?

I have been using Customer Thermometer for 3 years, leading on the product for my business unit and there are absolutely no negatives. Some people are turned off that you cant ask more than one question but this is not a survey tool and most customers do not want a long list of questions to answer. This product is perfect to get feedback on a single process or a connected set of processes and the customers only have to click one of the rating if they want to. If the customer has clicked on the wrong rating by mistake, they can change their rating and this will be registered and reflected in the dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is a must have tool for any customer focused business. By not knowing exactly how your customers feel about the service you provide means that you will have a huge disadvantage in the marketplace. What problems is Customer Thermometer solving and how is that benefiting you?

I worked for the largest telecoms company in the UK and the number of departments that we have covering all aspects of telecoms and telephony were vast. Implementing Customer Thermometer into some of the departments was extremely beneficial so that we could identify which of these departments were under-performing and which were excelling. At a more granular level, within these departments, we could also see which transactions were seen by our customers as out of date and not working as they expected. Improvement actions based on customer feedback fitted in perfectly with our Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma programmes as we had physical and actionable feedback based on what we know not what we thought. From the ratings we received, we can identify the happiness factor of our customer base, create a temperature/pulse check score which is a weighted score based on the ratings received and not just the volumes and also an NPS score. We used all of the scoring methods across all of the programmes which was a great way to prove to the business how we were performing over time, backing it up with improvement actions that had been implemented and agreed at a customer level. What is Customer Thermometer?

Customer Thermometer enables your customers to provide feedback in a quick and easy way by rating your service through a traffic light system. Their click leads them to a branded "thank you" page, on which they can leave additional comments, complete with social media buttons and a trackable hyper link. Use the software to respond directly to customers and measure your net promoter score. Survey are fully customizable and work on all mobile devices. Customer Thermometer surveys allow you to add your company logo and to choose from a wide range of icons, emoticons, traffic lights, numbers, check boxes and crosses. You can select seasonal icons as well as create your own branded icons. In each survey you ask one question. You then select 4 possible answers or add numbers for a voting question. Upload your desired contact list and send your emails there and then, or time them to go out at a later date. Email are sent via secure emails servers so that they don't end up in your recipients spam or junk folders. Watch your results come in in real-time and get access to individual respondent information so you can take appropriate action.

What do you dislike about Customer Thermometer?

Measuring NPS is an absolute nightmare. Whenever you try to setup an NPS survey for use in email signatures, the page crashes and you lose all progress. I have tried multiple different ways to get this to work but there are constant technical issues when setting up. We had plans to scale this and use it throughout the business, however we have abondoned such hopes as the system is completely unusable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer Thermometer?

The statistics on the reporting dashboard are so useful for us to monitor, giving us loads of ways to benchmark and measure our performance. It’s helped our team to get engaged with the service we offer, with them visibly seeing the improvement from their hard work.

Being in recruitment, it’s been really important for us to gauge how different agents have been performing. With Customer Thermometer we can see a breakdown of how each area of the business is doing, as well as a broad view, which is so helpful.

Not only is the app great, but the setup was so straightforward and the support team, the ‘Ministry of Magic’, are genuinely brilliant – they respond straight away, they’re proactive and it’s just great to work with them.

Customer Thermometer has helped us to get loads of feedback from our customers on a regular basis. We love celebrating the good feedback but it’s also so important for us to get insight into problems as soon as they happen – CT automatically notifies us when we get a red light so we can get in touch right away.

Our response rates are brilliant, unlike with longform surveys, we get constant engagement from our customers. Regular, real-time feedback has been a game-changer for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer Thermometer?

It's quite common to get false clicks using the system - security software clicks the links leaving fake feedback, so we are not always sure if feedback is real. Customer Thermometer are really supportive with their 'clickblocker' though, which means we can delete false responses and automate the process - this is something we couldn’t solve when reviewing other customer feedback tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

responses seem to time out or double meaning I have to manually delete duplicate responses. It doesn't force the customer to put in a reason when they click a yellow or red light. I would like a way for that to be mandatory so we get more of an opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer Thermometer?

the software is easy to set up and integrate into your emails and website. I like that it saves customers' initial rating with a single click and then allows them to leave an additional comment optionally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer Thermometer?

you are forced to sign up for the $50/month plan in order to use the email feedback form, which is obviously what everyone wants. this plan includes 200 responses per month. kind of expensive at 25 cents each but not crazy if you can use them all...except YOU CAN'T use them all.

See, if you go over 200 then they start billing you more...but if you stay under 200 they don't roll over your unused credits to the next month. WHY NOT?? WE ALREADY PAID FOR THEM!!! Not only that, but it's a digital product. It would literally cost them NOTHING to roll over your unused credits, they just choose not to so that they can hit you with more fees whenever you go over...

But IT GETS WORSE. When you cancel your account they delete all of your data!! So hopefully you don't want to cancel for a few months and then restart your subscription because you'll have to start back over again from zero...

Again, it's a DIGITAL PRODUCT and would cost them nothing to retain your data. seems like common courtesy after charging you such crazy high fees to collect it...but NOPE, they just choose not to.

Overall, the product itself is decent, but the policies of this company are really strange and are focused on taking your money at every turn. then as soon as you stop paying them their attitude is "FUCK YOU".
